Last minute trip. Coming to Porto Alegre via Sao Paulo later this week, July 2026. Back from Rio.

Looking for current advice especially for wintertime places to stay in Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo. I know Rio well enough, LOL. Nothing current mentioned for places to stay in P A. As for S P, Jardim Paulista and near Av Paulista have been mentioned both here and by folks I have met in the past. Any suggestions for just a few nights? P A and S P will be chilly at night and possibly during the day as well. Not sure if most airbnbs will have heating. Not an issue for hotels I assume. Buttercawan also noted a place or 2 to play in P A and it seems like only Lagoa is left for pay to play in S P. Any places like Sexy Rose in Rio? I never felt unsafe, but I followed the keep your head on a swivel and only text when stopped with your back against the wall. 
Overall I love visiting Brazil and I definitely want to go back, but more for Salvador, Receife, and Sao Luis. I also think São Paulo has a better GP in the Sauna over Rio.

I ordered the slate 7 model GL-BE3600 from Amazon for $150. To solve the problem. 

After setting up the router I was able to use the touch screen to select the hotel Wi-Fi it then sent a pop-up to my cell phone instructing me to login to the hotel Wi-Fi with the link provided which took me to the Wi-Fi login page. Once I logged in everything was set. I was now able to connect any Wi-Fi device I liked directly to the router ignoring the hotel Wi-Fi. I even changed the Wi-Fi login names and passwords to match those that I have at home so my device is connect automatically. This will allow me to even bring my Google Home mini or my Alexa as I travel.

Very low airfares from several US cities into some Brazilian cities now, including Brasilia. Often with stops in SP or Rio for the connection. Thinking about 3-5 days in SP. I am familiar with Rio. Clueless for SP, save for the many comments about the GP sauna there. I think Pauleiro posted some SP comments a year or 2 ago. Trying to get an idea how folks spend their non sauna time in SP. In Rio a typical day for me would be some am work, a jog at the beach, maybe the gym or a late am hour or 2 at the beach, make lunch at the BnB and head out to do some shopping or Sexy Rose to follow. I assume there are places like Sexy Rose in SP and Brasilia. Early am sex clubs like Taurus, etc? 117 or 202 at 1800 hrs or so, with dinner before or after. Sometimes a nap and a late night early am event. A day here or there doing tourist stuff or a day trip. Sundays at the Ipanema Hippie Fair art market in the am and Gloria music events after lunch. How amazing is it to be in Brazil with all those succulent garotos?😛

I arrived in São Paulo on Tuesday, February 10th. Everything went smoothly. However, since it was an early flight, I had to hang out at the airport for a while before boarding. Afterward, I decided to take public transportation to Avenida Paulista and Consolacao. From there, I would walk to my hotel. Since I only had a carry-on and a backpack, it was relatively easy. Here are the steps for those who want to do the same:

2. There is also a free shuttle to the train station, which then takes you to the subway line. but that one is a bit complicated so you can find instructions to do that one since you will only pay the subway like R$6

I was able to check in early. The weather was beautiful, sunny, and dry. The area in Frei Caneca is still very charming and kind of gay in my eyes. So after an early lunch, one of my regulars from Lagoa contacted me to meet, so we decided to check out the new sauna Python.

Python is bigger and newer, but the layout is not helpful; the rooms are all the way in the back and downstairs. I went twice last week  Luckily, the first time they also have a 2-for-1 drinks special. I went with one of my Lagoa regulars, and I only have him; the rest of the guys weren’t attractive, let's say 4s and 5s. But take it with a grain of salt since it's for one day and one person's POV. Then it was a big night on Saturday. They opened a second saloon, downstairs too but kind of hidden. That day was better, but Lagoa still has the best guys, especially on Wednesdays. Wednesday at Lagoa was amazing.

In Lagoa, you'll find plenty of options to choose from. I'm talking about 9s and some 10s that vanish as soon as they hit the sauna. Perhaps that's why some believe the real hot GPs don't hang out at the saunas anymore?  Because there were incredible GPs  that never stuck around. They'd arrive, and someone would grab them right away, and then they were gone. So, when I'm looking to meet, I only hang out on the second or third floor to catch them as soon as they walk in because they're not often seen. The stunning ones go there for about an hour and do so many programs that they leave right away, but they still have some hot GPs hanging around and socializing, so there are plenty of choices. and the Lagoa rooms are still better than any other place.

Now, I’m in Rio. Last night, I visited 117, which was just average, and nothing much has changed. There weren’t many GPs, and it happened the same way as in Lagoa. Three extremely hot guys arrived, but they didn’t pass the room stairs threshold. As soon as they came down from the rooms, someone grabbed them. After trying for weeks, finally arrived, LOL. Not sure if I will stay here for 2 weeks or head elsewhere like Sao Paulo, Tiradentes, etc. I went to Sexy Rose after arriving Friday, yesterday.
