  1. Night 1: Dreamboys - Dreaming of Mr. Bar Fight I’m envious of the forum members who can write with the utmost of detail about different guys, their numbers, and what made them stand out. My short term memory is weak, so I only remember the details that most stick out. I can forget an entire sequence of events, but I can remember every minute detail of a 5 minute period if it gets my blood pumping. After arriving to the hotel, we met up with my boyfriend’s best friend for some supper. I wanted to get to a midnight show, preferably at Tawan, so I was anxiously watching the clock to make sure were were making good time. Of course, my hopes were dashed after dinner as we walked in Tawan and realized there is no midnight show. Is there a good resource anywhere that has all the show times? I needed something like this several times during the trip. A big part of me...especially my manhood... was ready to stay there as one of the models was walking around in a posing suit that only covered 25% of his ass. The mystery and desire to see the whole 100% reminded me of why I love Tawan so much. Unfortunately, a quick read on my boyfriend and his best friend told me that this just wasn't their jam. As I was playing tour guide that night, I had to think on the spot and move around some items on the itinerary. I checked my Trello board that I had planned for the trip and moved things around - Dream Boys was next! My body was there, but my hardon...I mean... heart was at Tawan. On this night, it was the shaved head crew that would have broken my fitness tracker (had I been wearing one) by skyrocketing my heart rate. One of them was an angry looking dude with a nose that looked like it’s seen a few fights. The other looked like he could have been the younger version of Mr. Bar Fight...before the all the punches to the face. Both of them sported great butts that night, with Mr. Bar Fight taking, bouncing, and serving up the cake. I barely remember the show because I spent the whole time tracking his whereabouts and wanting to catch another glimpse of that ass in those tight briefs. Mainly, he spent the whole time talking to mamasans and some other guys in one of the seats facing the stage, though he was ignoring what was happening on the stage. Still, his rough exterior and my fantasies of him being a boxer kept my gaze. Luckily, I was subtle enough that he didn't notice my obsession... I think. Had my boyfriend not been with me, I would have taken the chance to get to know him and most likely would have offed him. My fantasy is that there’s a diamond hidden in that rough exterior (roughness further extended seeing him in street clothes the next night. If you saw this guy on the street, Dreamboys would be the last place you’d expect he’d be working.) Anyone able to figure out who I’m talking about? Experiences to share? Reply or PMs okay! It was at this point in the trip that I realized my boyfriend enjoyed looking at the guys and talking about them, but he had no interest in doing any further. So, I decided that I would try to play it safe this trip and be the ultimate spectator. Surprisingly, I think all the mamasans in the bars we went could tell this as none of them bothered us at all about buying drinks for guys. Mr. Bar Fight will have to wait until next trip.

  2. One of the traits I really admire about Thais is their ability to get along with others. I believe it comes about naturally at a very early age because they coexist in close quarters. They find themselves dependent on highly developed social networks of family, friends and neighbors. Children learn to share before they can walk. Parents who work in Patpong bring their youngsters along. You can’t help but notice how they acclimate to what might seem to us to be an impossibly hectic environment. Yet somehow they find themselves looked after by the other vendors. The spirit, and the need, to cooperate is imprinted by these experiences. They’re better socialized beyond anything I’ve seen in the west.

  3. 90-Day reporting is your responsibility. If you want to nerd-out, the form is TM-47. You can report online. It doesn't involve your landlord. (But TM-30 usually involves the landlord, see below). The 90-day clock restarts every time you re-enter the country. You can report online, but the window to do so is 15 days before-but-not-less-than 7 days before the 90th day. 90-Day Reporting Online. Now there is also a phone app for that called Immigration eServices for Foreigner or something like that. In the Apple App store you can find it by searching for "Royal Thai Police." (There is also an Android version.) When I signed up for the app it took several days just to register, so take that into account. The online reporting and apps are notoriously finicky. I certainly wouldn't wait until the last day when you can report using these methods. If for whatever reason you don't make the online reporting window, if you are in Bangkok you make the 90-Day report at Chaengwattana. I think 90-day reporting might be one of the few situations where you can send someone to do it for you, but I don't know for certain. You get a receipt (or you print out your receipt if you do it online) and it goes to the immigration officer along with your passport and departure card when you leave.. There are lots of reports of Immigration officers check to see if you have have complied at departure. There is a fine. A different reporting is TM-30 reporting. Bangkok didn't used to care about TM-30 reporting, although offices in some other districts did. But all that has changed very recently and Bangkok is now enforcing TM-30 reporting. To put it mildly, expats have gone bat-shit crazy over this. But it is what it is. Right now it has been coming up in situations where people have had to go to Immigration to "do" something - such as file for an annual extension of stay. They are forced to get current with their TM-30 before anything else will be processed, and there are reports of an 800 baht fine or something like that. The basic rule is that whenever a foreigner stays the night at a hotel or home, a report is supposed to go to Immigration. Hotels do this online and you don't even know about it. The "change" is that Bangkok Immigration is now enforcing it strictly to everyone - not just hotels. So, for example, when you go to stay in your rented apartment, a report is supposed to go in to Immigration. It's easy if your landlord or condo juristic person (office) files the report. The law, however, effectively makes the landlord and the tenant jointly responsible for making sure that the form is filed. So if your landlord doesn't do it you can (and should). You can complete the TM-30 form as "possessor", rather than as owner. I believe that in the Thailand Apple and Google app stores an app is available, but it is not available (or not available yet) in Apple App stores outside Thailand. You can also complete the form on-line. TM-30 Online Reporting (Thai Language). I believe that registration to use the on-line form requires uploading the lease and other specified info. There are reports of people waiting for approval for many weeks. You can also file the TM-30 by mail, just enclose a return stamped envelope for the receipt. Or file in person. Immigration, for whatever reason, seems to be in the midst of a "work to rules" phase, so this is all a bit new and some of the more bonkers fact patterns are still unclear, and practice differs from office to office. For example, if I go visit Chiang Mai and stay in a hotel, the hotel will file a TM-30, but then when I go back to my apartment in Bangkok am I supposed to file (or tell the juristic person to file) a new TM-30 to update the info? Some Immigration offices say yes, some say no, and we don't know what Bangkok Immigration thinks on this vitally important question that is more important than anything else in the world (to some people on Thai Visa). One of Big Oud's recent press conferences was to showcase Immigration making an example of two ladies fined ฿2,000 for failure to report foreigners. The Thai Visa forum is the best resource for finding up-to-date info and read pages and pages of outrage about this (or that). Basically, just look for answers by "UbonJoe" and ignore everyone else. He knows his stuff. Most of the rest are just miserable and cranky complainers. If you are entitled to use the special Immigration Office in Silom (Chamchuri), things might be different for you. Personally, I am not in the country on an annual renewal extension of stay, and I travel in the region enough that I've only had to file a 90-Day report twice, so I expect I'll just ignore TM-30 until I think it could come back to bite me. But that's not advice.

  4. First off, thank you to all of you who answered my questions I posted on the forums as I was in the middle of the trip. Who Am I? Expat in Malaysia. 2nd time BKK visitor. On my first trip three years ago, I offed guys from X Boys, Tawan, and Screwboys. I went to Thailand with the sole intention of bottoming, but it was a Myanmar bottom guy from Screwboys who really stuck out to me. Work conditions, finances, and relationships over the next few years made it difficult to get back to BKK until this past weekend. How Did We Get Here? On a drunken and surprisingly romantic night about a month and a half ago, my boyfriend (Asian, 34) and I (American (W), 36) discussed even further the details of our open relationship. I decided to “come out of the closet” to him and reveal my fascination with the Bangkok bar scene. Up until that point, he had expressed nothing but disdain for Bangkok due to bad shopping experiences he had years before. I had been hiding it for a while that Bangkok is actually a place I enjoy, though more for its seedier side. I told him how I enjoy offing MBs in Bangkok after a night of drinking and watching shows. He said he had no problem with it and even brought up the idea of us offing one together. While I thought that was a big step and unlikely given his low priority of sex, I was at least fascinated to see how he would act in the bars. What type of guys would he like? Which bar would he prefer the most? Would he want to call guys over to drink with? Who would he want to off? Well, I decided we should find out the answers to those questions, so we booked our trip the next week. He gave me complete control of the planning as long I made sure we could do some shopping each day. Based off the title of this trip report, I'm guessing you can figure out the results of the trip. Still, though, given some of the situations, it was still a sexy trip and I'm still processing my excitement. We were in BKK from Friday, July 5th to Monday, July 8th. Here's the itinerary and teaser titles that I'll be fleshing out in the next few installments. They will be much sexier than this introduction! Night 1: Dream Boys - Dreaming of MrBarFight Night 2: Moonlight - Battle of the Bulges & Hot Male - The One I Really Wanted To Off Night 3: Tawan - I'll Take Them All & Jupiter - He's Living My Best Life

  5. I think it is incorrect to suggest that because a guy wants more than 1,500 per day to go with a customer that makes him "greedy."

  8. First: how well do you know and and does he want to go? Second: does he know his way around (I mean do not expect him to organize everything; some can, others can't and will be a burden). I would start negotiations with 1500 THB per night. If he wants more that a means either he is not interested in the place or in me or is greedy, all good reasons for me to forego this boy.

  9. It seems that the opinion regarding tips in Gogo bars is coalescing around 20 baht to 100 for the drinks service. The latter figure would be appropriate if your stay was lengthy whereas 20,would be ok for a shorter period with just one drink. As for interaction with a boy my minimum would be 100 when I’ve not got too intimate (perhaps just kissing or caressing). This would go to maybe 200 if I have held his cock or indulged in lengthy tongue kissing. However usually my purpose in visiting a Gogo would be to off a boy usually LT sometimes short time. I would not give him a bar tip, the tip would come later related to his performance in bed. I visit Pattaya as a gay sex tourist - skimping on tips is not what I’m about.

I’d said it’s already happened. Most boys can’t make money in Sunee Plaza anymore. Still, one can find slim twinks and feminine boys but they are scarce now as well. Diehards will persist and some foolish farang may yet throw out his money on a new bar for a Thai boyfriend. Dragon 789 closing yet another nail in the coffin. BUT it’s low low season. With the diehards mostly deep in their 70’s, it looks gloomy. Jomtien Complex vibrant and lively but far less boys and customers now in low season.

  11. No, that thread was started ten years ago. If you read the thread, you will see that is has many current comments from various forum members who visit Rio. Also, you should read the "Latin" section of the forum to see additional comments that are current. All of your questions are answered in the various posts concerning Brazil. You might have to look for the answer about whether the guys speak English. The answer is "generally not" Although it seems difficult to believe, your not knowing Portuguese and the guys not speaking English there is little or no problems for purposes of meeting someone compatible. As to finding someone for a long-term basis, it could be difficult. Many of the guys are married or are in long-term relationships. They work in the saunas solely to earn money. When their work day is finished, they go home. Of course, it is possible you will find someone who will spend more time with you. Good luck on your first visit to Brazil -

The area above the dance floor and stage does up 2 stories so you can sit on the main floor or in two different areas on the 2nd floor and see the shows and people watch, there are two bars. It is approximately 6 blocks from 117. They had alot of workers in there Sunday but doubtiful it will be open this weekend! They are anitipating Monday and Friday being their biggest days initially....

  13. Tipping, the perennial favorite! I would not have tipped anyone, as I don't need any advice from mamasan; and from waiter I only want him to bring my drink, which he is paid for by his employer. Either a reputation as cheapskate precedes me, or I look like a non-tipper, or I immediately forget such incidents, but I don't remember such problem. If someone asks for a tip, he will get a "no" and if he asks again, another "no" and the next person from that bar or elsewhere "no". I'm immune to those requests/demands/expectations, they run off my skin like water on a lotus leaf. When the big cock or fuck show performers roam the audience, I keep my hands on my lap and just smile and say "thank you" when they come to me. Being a single child and having lived alone might help for this: I do not do what others expect/demand/request I do, I do what I think feel doing.

  14. In case people haven't already seen the news, the Royal Barge Procession will be October 24. It's the last official event of Rama X's coronation and quite a spectacular occasion. For people interested in such things, it might be worth planning a trip to Bangkok to see. For people who dislike the inevitable traffic and discombobulations these events inevitably cause, you are warned. As always for such events, Richard Barrow is a great source of information. Some preliminary dates are set, but the dates for the rehearsals are not reported yet. Expect crowds and sometimes the rehearsals can be a better opportunity to take pictures. Barrow has a map of potential viewing locations and a lot of other helpful information that he updates as more becomes known. He also helpfully reminds people that the procession takes places later in the afternoon, so people on the Old-Town/Rattanokosin side of the river would be facing into (and taking photos into) the sun, so take that into account in deciding where to join the crowds to watch the procession. 15. I do not have much time to write, I am going to be brief, and later give more details. The beach day was cancelled, it was too cold. Instead I spent the day with Diego, from 10:30 to 5, we had sex twice, good sex, his fee was R150, I gave him 250. I just met Italo Andrade, $200, check link to his ad in my blog. The meeting was amazing, if he was not leaving tomorrow I would be renting him for every day for the rest of my stay. He busted three times during our date. So much better than anything I have gotten so far from saunas in Salvador, and my one time in a sauna here. See you all later.

  17. TM-47 = "Form for Alien to Notify of Staying Longer than 90 days" It operates in its own universe. The clock re-starts every time you enter the country. TM-30 = "Notification Form for House Master, Owner or the Possessor of the Residence where Aliens have stayed." On its face applies every time a foreigner stays somewhere. Your hotels have been doing this all the time. Now you need to make sure your landlord has got you current (or you have to do it), if you need to go to Bangkok Immigration to get them to do something for you (such as an extension of stay). Immigration Forms can be downloaded: Here Put aside whether or not it is manifestly insane, whoever came up with the law for TM-30 probably thought it would create a system where the government would always know where a foreigner is staying. Every time the foreigner relocates, his/her location would get updated. (LOL) I actually think there are a lot of countries with rules like this, they are just seldom enforced. I remember when I was a lad for a longish visit in Italy I had to register with the police. Non-compliance with TM-30 is one of the "hooks" government and condos are using to crack down on AirBnB. In Bangkok people who have faced this problem but have landlords that cant' be bothered bring a copy of their lease and submit the form as "possessor", pay their 800 baht fine and then can proceed to renew their extension of stay.

  18. I've been only for three days in Rio. So far these are the fees I am dealing with, all prices are in Brazilian currency: Boy in sauna: 150/200, negotiable rate according to what you want to do. Personally, I do not like sex in the sauna, but it is the safer option to go to. Escort publishing in Internet: 150/200. I got two local porn stars for 200 the hour in my place. (I am only inviting these guys to my place because I got recommendations from a third party) Spending the day together (I am not into overnights): Apparently the standard time is something like 10AM to 5PM. I was quoted 150, ended paying 250 because the guy was just amazing. He was also recommended by a third party. I do not know whether or not these are representative prices, but they are the prices I have dealt with so far.

  20. Yes, it is unusual for me. And, I'm not sure if that is what required the Visa this time. I don't remember getting that visa for the Bangkok, Shanghai, Chicago trip. I liked Cathay Pacific Premium Economy and a good price for USA at 1700 USD. But, for a few hundred more full Business is a good deal IMHO.

  23. social life is lubricated by compromises on those things and often without even realizing it we succumb to those demands, requests and expectancies so it's better no to be too strict. At times we need to spend holidays with family we don't like, smile at neighbor we hate or have a coffee with friend even if we hate coffee.

  25. I would think it would have more to do with others taking their jobs away. Just like the Americans and the Mexicans. Americans are really upset that the people from South America are coming to the USA and taking all those hard outdoor jobs that Americans love. Just like the Thais are upset that the other Asian countries are coming here taking all their clients from the bar business. However, one of these I believe and the other is total BS.

After 2 visits to Nice Boys in the last week, it’s been very quiet with few customers and not many boys. The bosses have spruced up the bar somewhat with animal prints covered the seating. With Sunee Plaza now in its death throes, Nice Boys had been a reason to go but not lately. I hope it can revive. Dragon 789 around the corner has closed and Winner Boys and Eros also very short of boys. It’s low season but I still wonder if Sunee Plaza will stay viable until high season. i see many boys I know from Sunee now in Jomtien Complex.

  28. Update on Nakarat since immigration police raid in June: As regulars are aware, Vietnam guys had a strong presence in this shop. Their departure has thinned the ranks but new faces from other shops are appearing. Like many shops, you can expect the perennial question (as Vinapu noted), “how much you give me?” Fair enough. But I think it’s also fair for customers to respond in the manner of their choosing. Lately, when asked the same thing regardless of location, Ive been replying, “you will make out better if you do what you say and trust me to be fair.” Granted, I often have to resort to google translate but I manage to make the point. If the guy continues to haggle I’ve been simply making it a straight forward massage and tipping accordingly. I’ve become less tolerant of bargaining in my old age. But when the guy leaves the compensation up to me, I tip at the top of my range. i’m not recommending this to everyone; just saying what I’ve found works best for me.

  33. Thai people in general are kind and respectful to their parents, elders, monks , authority and so on. Great solidarity between them.Regarding to falangs they tend to be suspicious and cold but if you make an effort to be kind and helpful they change their attitude and learn to respect you. ChristianPFC attitude is very self centered and egoistic and this is why he never found Thai boyfriend although he wants to, Thai boys are not stupid and they easily sens this kind of behaviour however his blog is very interesting and informative and I appreciate his efforts there.
