  1. Apologies for the abrupt end to the last portion of my report. A friend, who I haven't seen in 15 or more years, decided to visit the SF Bay Area from his home in Massachusetts and he was able to carve out some time for a get together. We were doing this by text message while I was writing my report and it turned out that the best time then. So, back to my report...it's was Tuesday night, I've taken Van to the hospital, and decided to make it a quiet night and get some sleep. It's now Wednesday, only thing on the agenda is dinner with Van. After I've run my errands, I walk toward the park and then head over to check out the construction work on the what was the Dusit Thani hotel site. Can't see much from ground level, more is visible from the Sky Train statin level and the walkways to the park. Someone is making a fortune on this job. Huge amount of land that was gardens and low lying outer buildings is getting the high density high rent treatment. Van comes by around 5pm, definitely looks much better. He tells me they released him after making sure he had breakfast. He shows me pictures on his phone of the nurses and the doctor and the IV tubing that fed him for a while. He said the money I left (2000 thb) covered the cost, or at least they didn't charge more (or, there was change which I won't see). He says he is going to skip work tonight and rest but he want me to go to the club and off his Viet friend who he has invited to meet up with us at the hotel at 6! I would caution readers to know that I wasn't totally surprised. Van has done this before when he wants to play matchmaker. There is enough time between the suggestion to text his friend and call it off, but Van says he knows me fairly well (true) and thinks Banana Viet (my name for him) would suit me well. He has done this in the past, once even bringing someone to the hotel who I'd offed from Screwboys (using a room at Pavilion Place) who I had not told him about. In that case I forgot the Vietnamese internet and was very happy with the intervention and 2nd round. So, I say, let's see how dinner goes, let him join us for dinner. He does, we eat at Mango Tree. No one eats much so the bill is reasonable. Banana Viet and I head over to soi 4, Van goes home to rest, we say goodbye as I'm leaving after midnight on Thursday and he will be at work. At Banana, I pay the off fee for Van and my evening guest. It's still early so we have a drink at Balcony. I learn about the gogo boy life and what options there are at home in Vietnam. Back at the hotel, he is engaging, he has been coached as to my likes, dislikes, and blends his limits to make it pleasant but not exceptional. Somehow, I think Van was substituting someone for himself as he was still recovering. Decided that there was no future in trying to figure out the motivations of the guys, it had been a pleasant evening and so I said good bye to him. I went to bed around 11. I woke fully rested and ready to start my last few hours when I looked at my watch and found out, I'd been asleep for all of 3 hours as it was just past 1am on Thursday. Decided to get up and go out for a walk, maybe checkout the guys taking down the Patpong market stalls. On Patpong 2, the Red Dragon bartender, is surprised to see me as he is about to lower the shutters. Some of the waiters are leaving Freshboy where the 2nd show has ended. There is some joking about my stopping to off another waiter. I laugh and say "no more", I'm invited to join them for dinner over at the outdoor dining area on Surawong. I go with them, more waiters come by, as do several of the boys from the rotation. I'm not hungry but arrange for a couple of platters of food for the table. This increased my good heart reputation. I have very little idea of the conversation but it was very much an after work time to relax moment. It broke up sometime after 3pm. Waiter 3 (see above) told me he was going to stay with me tonight because he liked me and wanted a good shower. I laughed and agreed. At the hotel he had his shower and we cuddled, I think I fell asleep first. Thursday morning It's Thanksgiving in the USA, or will be when the sun crosses the Atlantic in a few hours. Waiter 3 is up around 10 and wonders if I want to have some morning sex, the answer is affirmative, and we do. Then we have breakfast and he departs. Given how the match up took place, I give him a short time tip even though he stayed the night, he's fine with that. I organize my packing, check the mail, read up on the news from home (depressing). I consider a massage and that's as far as that goes. I'm sort of in an end of trip mood. So much I might do, so few things that I actually want to do. Following a suggestion from Reader and positive words in one of Vinapu's reports, I check out the Amara hotel. It has definite possibilities for the future. I attend the Thursday Manager's Cocktail party at the Tarntawan and have conversations with the Manager and the Assistant Manager. I wish them the best in their battle to bring an old hotel through its upgrade. I tip the breakfast waitress who is serving drinks at the party and say goodbye. She has been a welcoming face most mornings. I head over to Silom Plaza where I'm meeting anddy and Reader for dinner at the Wine Connection. We catch up on our activities since last week. As there is no turkey on the menu we have a fine dinner and enjoy a bottle of wine toasting one another and forum members we know. After dinner, Reader and I say goodbye to anddy, and head over, to where else, Red Dragon. The show's started upstairs so there are only a few barkers and waiters around to muss our hair, so to speak. Across from the bar on the Dreamboys side of the road, I see a good looking guy who has been staring at me. He has a ball cap on and appears to be fairly tall. The bartender being a source of wisdom tells me that he used to work in the clubs, is Vietnamese and gets a seal of approval. I engage him with a smile and a wave to come over, which he does rapidly. He is "Q', he has the swimmer's physique that I like and the height to make him seem panther like. He takes his cap off and his head is shaved! This is a first (for me). We have a drink and I know that I am attracted but that I'm ignoring Reader. Reader smiles and encourages me to continue with exploring the panther. Fifteen minutes later, having said goodbye to Reader and agreeing to meet up again in the future, we are in my room at the Tarntawan. Q did not know from the Viet internet where I was staying, nor my floor, nor my room #. This is a good thing to my mind. He was quick to undress himself and then me. He has a sleek body and a generous endowment and is proud to show off and encouraged me take a photo or 6. He goes into wash up before his shower and encourages me to watch, then we shower together, no worry about getting his hair wet. He dries me off, then makes a small performance about drying himself. Q understands some eroticism heightens the evening's events. He is very good in bed, better than I am ( not that that says much). I get off on his looks as well as his actions. He tells me that we have been together before, I cannot remember and I think I'd remember someone like him...but, it's possible he worked on his appearance/body, etc. He said that was why he was staring at me, as he remembered me. Whatever, it was a nice couple of hours at the end of a good visit. We exchanged Line information, went for a second round in bed, mostly cuddling, then another trip to the shower. He left around 1am. I got back in bed to catch some sleep, I need to leave the hotel around 3:30am for my flight. Around 2am the hotel phone rings, it's security telling me I have a guest. It's Van, he knows I'm leaving and wants to help me get ready. He's done this on many trips, and it involves making sure I have shower, that I'm packed, that my electronics are in the right carry on, and making me a cup of tea to relax. His visit is a surprise but a very pleasant one releasing memories of other trips and departures. At 3am, I go to the desk to check out, the clerk goes up to inventory the room, returns as everything was in its place, the security guard has found a taxi. Van tells me he thinks the fates brought me to town to help him when he was sick. He doesn't come to the airport but says goodbye in the hotel courtyard. Taxi is waiting, I tell him to take the expressway and I'll cover the tolls. Arrive at the airport, by 4am, in time to have the ANA staff bow to those waiting in line, lots of Americans in line, they just finished a Viking Cruise, looks like i'll be with them to Japan and with many onward to SF. I use the expedited exit line, then park, as Numazu did, in the Thai Royal Orchid lounge and have some food I trust. Flight was full to Tokyo, and Tokyo to San Francisco flight was even fuller. Three days later, I came down with the flu which lasted three weeks. Pardon that bit of whining... Good memories of this trip, lots of messages from the guys, especially Van, Q, Yoyo, and some of the waiters. A month after I return, the messages sort of shift to the needing money kind, which I ignore. Then they shift to New Year's wishes. Thanks to all who take the time to report, short, brief, detailed, highlights only, or commenting on reports all help and are appreciated. And, so readers, Happy New Year! May the 20s be good to all of us. I hope to return in late spring to Thailand and is I do, there will be report.

  2. Other things I did: Dongtan beach: went here 3 times and just relaxed for hours. It was really nice. Everyone here seemed to know each other, and know the beach vendors. I ate a couple of times from one of the vendors, first time was fine, but the second time made me feel a little ill. But I was okay. It’s amusing seeing everything they sell, from food, clothes, souvenirs, manicures, pedicures, belts, medications, poppers, porn, you name it, they have it. Massage: I didn’t manage to visit any massage places that were in the complex (although I did walk past them a few times), however I did get a massage on Dongtan beach. I employed the services of a passing vendor and asked for a foot massage, which he agreed to. What ended up happening is that he pretty much avoided my feet for the most part, ended up massaging my legs (whilst brushing my cock sneakily, to which I kept pushing his hand away). He told me to take my shirt and shorts off and lay face down while he did my back, sitting just below my butt but covering it with a towel. And omg, his hands just went wandering, trying to stick a finger up my butt, putting my hand on his cock, and putting his hand underneath to try jerk me off, and if I didn’t stop him, he probably would have fucked me right there, it was kinda hot and pretty sensual but we were literally in public! There wasn’t many people around, but oh my goodness. I guess I shouldn’t have expected any less, this is Pattaya after all. He asked where I was staying and I told him and he said he could come later, and I was like nope. He wasn’t really my type. I saw him twice after that, but I didn’t engage his services anymore lol. Final thoughts I love Bangkok with a passion and I can’t wait until I go back. This was by far my best trip that I’ve had in Thailand so far. Jomtien I wasn’t too sure about, I mean, I had fun and I’ll give it another shot, but it’s not a place that I would go to regularly. There is no shortage of guys there, but I felt a little like there is already a bit of a community with the farang there, and host bars I don’t really understand. I didn’t really check out the gogo bars in boyztown so maybe I’ll try that the next time I go back. I didn’t really get too much attention on the apps, then again, I didn’t really make first contact a lot of the time. Could it be that I’m a little racially ambiguous (I was quite often mistaken for being Thai), and perhaps the guys would just skip over my profile in favour of farang? I don’t know! Loved the Raya, but hated crossing Surawong Rd. Next time I will definitely stay in a hotel on the other side of the road. I’ve had my eye on the Crowne Plaza for a while, but I think it’s a little above my budget. Zing I wasn’t too impressed with, but it was clean (apart from the ant infestation in my bathroom) and on the cheaper side. If I come to Jomtien again, I’ll probably go for the Agate. Also note, if you want to get your laundry done at Zing, you have to take it to reception and pick it up yourself. I had a really nice welcome back from border control when I arrived back in my country. Basically when I tried to go through the e-gate, my passport didn’t work and I had to go to a desk (I thought my passport was broken but turns out not), then collect my luggage and then have border control officers search my luggage, ask me a bunch of questions (‘do you have any friends in Thailand?’ ‘um yeah’ ‘where did you meet them?’ ‘umm in.. bars..’ lol), and took my phone and went through that too. I mean, they were really nice about it and just doing their jobs, and they weren’t the ones who chose me. I was flagged probably before I even stepped off the plane. Single traveller, 3rdtime to Thailand in a 9 month period, any number of things could have flagged me, and I was really annoyed as this was the first time something like this has ever happened to me. But they were friendly and I was respectful, and they were doing their jobs, but after such a good holiday it was a little bit of a downer to be treated like a criminal when coming back home. I wasn’t overly worried though as I hadn’t done anything wrong, but it did make me nervous. Next year I’m planning on visiting Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam, so I think I might tack on a couple of days in Bangkok at the beginning and end. I would love to see Lao guy 1 and dreamboy again. Thanks for reading!

    Trip Report - Dec 2019

Gogo bars The first time I stepped foot into a gogo bar was during my first visit in 2016 (dreamboys and I think x boys back in Soi Twilight, with a tour guide), but I didn’t off anyone. This trip I found the courage to go by myself, and it wasn’t actually as scary as I thought. It was pretty straight forward, and I am indebted to this forum for the information on how they worked. I didn’t manage to actually get to any gogo bars until my 3rdnight in Bangkok, but I managed to check out 5, one bar per night. Freshboys: I actually had wanted to go to screwboys for my first foray into the gogo bars, but I couldn’t immediately see it when I entered Patpong 2. One of the grabbers from fresh boys said there was a fuck show, and I thought that sounded good, so I went upstairs and I was led inside to a seat. The venue was intimate, and the show had already started when I arrived. Dark skinned mamasan with big hair looked after me, and a Vietnamese waiter sat with me for a while, was a little touchy-feely, and asked me to buy him a drink, which I declined. The show was good, pretty much what I expected, I did notice the big cock/pole/knee routine which has been mentioned here, and the fuck show was probably the best out of all of the bars that I visited this trip. The mamasans and waiters did a good job of standing in the way whilst I was trying to watch the show. There were 2 guys on my short list to off – one of the guys from the big cock show, and a more twinkier guy. I’m pretty flexible with guys, so I don’t necessarily need to look for a top or a bottom as I can just go with the flow with whatever the guy is comfortable with (but they need to be able to kiss!). Anyway, mamasan said that the big cock guy was top only, which is fine, but what that translates to me is that he probably won’t do much, plus he looked a little bit cocky, but hey, he could have been really nice. He was super hot though, and did wander through the audience and I had a bit of a grope. Anyway, I decided on the twinkier guy (turns out he is from Laos), mamasan said he did everything. He came over and his English was a little limited, but we used google translate to help. Maybe I heard wrong, but I think he said he was 32, but later I stumbled across his grindr and hornet profiles which said 20 and 24, so who knows. I didn’t mind though as I prefer guys a little older and closer to my age (mid 30’s). So after settling the bill, I put 100 baht in the other guy’s underwear (as he would have been my other choice), and we walked back to the hotel, holding hands (actually, all but 1 of the guys held hands with me on the way back), which was nice. He was pretty fun in bed and we were both pretty versatile. This guy was nice, and I liked his company. We cuddled afterwards (actually I did with all of the guys, most just fell asleep). He wanted to stay the night (he was so tired, poor thing), but I had to decline because I’m not so much into longtime. I find it really hard to sleep when someone else is sharing a bed with me. Perhaps one day. Sent him on his way with an extra 100 baht to give to mamasan as I realised I didn’t tip her, so who knows if she actually got it or not lol. Screwboys: so on my second night out, I finally found this bar, the reason why I didn’t see it previously is that it was set back from the road a little. It was a cosy bar, seating was a little strange (at one stage I took my shoes off and sat cross legged), and mamasan (male) talked to me periodically and sometimes put his head on my shoulder. A lot of guys to choose from, the show was pretty standard, and after the show I chose another twinkier looking guy as he looked friendly and kind. Mamasan called him over, and he sat with me for a while (shivering as he was wearing only underwear and we must have been under the aircon) before we left together. 20 years old from Laos (2 Lao guys in a row, who would have thought), and he spoke zero english, but we managed. If I understood correctly, he had only been working in the bar for 6 days. Walked back to the hotel hand in hand, I registered him at reception (the only guy that I registered throughout my trip), and had some fun in the room. I didn’t really want to go further than kissing/oral/handjobs as I just kinda wanted to give him an easy time if he had only been working there for a few days. Nice guy though and super cute. It was amusing in the shower afterwards though as he was washing his hair and was having trouble with the shampoo as it wasn’t really lathering, but turns out that his hair was gelled so much that he needed copious amounts of shampoo to wash it all out. I accompanied him down to the street to bid him farewell (actually I accompanied all of the guys out to the street during my time here. It felt like the right thing to do). Lucky boys: this bar was huge. I chose to sit up the back (my preferred seating), and I got there a little early so I had to wait a while for the show to start. The mamasan (with the emirates hat) sat with me periodically, and we made a bit of small talk, but after the show I commented on her good english skills and she opened up and just talked and talked about how she learnt english, where she worked before, how long she has been at lucky boys etc). The show was, again, pretty standard, although a little higher quality than fresh and screw, but the fuck show was still the best at fresh. There were 2 guys that I had my eye on, a pretty guy with facial hair, and a more masculine guy, who was a little bigger, and hairier. Even though I did like the look of the facial hair guy and he was super hot, and I decided to go with the hairier guy. Mamasan called him over, 26 or 28 years old, from Cambodia, and english skills were decent which was a nice change. I got the mamasan to call over pretty facial hair guy and I gave him 100 baht. Back to the room and we showered separately, and he put the bathroom blinds down whilst showering (I noticed with the guys that came back with me to this hotel, only the Cambodian guys did this), and had some fun. I bottomed for him and he fucked pretty hard. Sweet guy, had a fun night with him and I think I connected with him a little more than Lao guy 2, but not more than Lao guy 1. Dreamboys: before I went to dreamboys I was umming and aah-ing about my situation – I had limited time left, I wanted to go to a new bar each night (but didn’t really want to do 2 bars in a night), but really wanted to off the big dick guy from freshboys, and also the pretty guy in lucky boys. I didn’t have any of the mamasan’s contact details so I couldn’t really organise anything. And I knew that most of these guys probably don’t really stay in the game for too long, so it is possible by the time I visited again, they wouldn’t be there anymore. Anyway, I ended up making my decision and going to dreamboys as I wanted to visit a new bar, which was my plan all along. Much to my surprise, all of my indecisiveness was forgotten when I met the guy who I would off here, who coincidentally became my favourite of the whole trip. Dreamboys was smaller than I had anticipated (when I compare it to the old dreamboys which I had been to a few years prior), I had a nice seat up the back, and watched the guys in rotation. I had my eye on 2 guys – one of which was a little more on the twinkier side, but with a softer body (like mine aha), and the other was a little bigger (taller) than I would have usually gone for, and muscly (but not overly). But I really really liked his face. The show was pretty standard fare, my ‘guy’ ended up being in the big cock show, and there was also a section where 2 attractive guys from the audience were called on stage and were made to take most of their clothes off and were “massaged” by the ladyboys. It was actually pretty crass and I was glad I was sitting up the back. Anyway, after the show I decided to go for something different than what I’m used to, so I got the mamasan to call the (big cock) guy down (she said he was gay and flexible), and I was a little apprehensive as I thought he may be a little cocky or arrogant, but when he got to me, he was actually super nice. Thai guy, said he was 30 (his line profile said 33 though, which doesn’t worry me as I prefer a little older), and spoke quite reasonable English. After talking for a little bit, we left together (hand in hand), stopped by 7/11 on the way where I bought him a couple of snacks, and shortly after we were back in my room. Really loving how close The Raya is to the action. He was really quite playful and fun, yet really passionate, and an amazing kisser, and I think we really connected. Whether it was genuine or fabricated, I didn’t really mind because at least he went to the effort. Didn’t go further than kissing, oral, and handjobs, but I was pretty satisfied. I made sure to get his line id before he left. He messaged me a little later saying he was at the gym (like at 3am lol). I thought it was funny how at the beginning of the night I was unsure of what to do, and then he just made me forget about it all. Funny how things work sometimes. Moonlight: Even though the general type of guys at Moonlight weren’t really my type, I was curious about this bar, and it was super close to my hotel. Turns out that there is someone there for everyone. It was quite busy when I arrived, and was seated near the front, but not right up the front, next to some Thai girls. The shows were probably the most professional out of them all, and the models were quite attractive, a little too muscular for my liking, but my favourite was Babe (I think) as I really liked his face. After the first show (which went on for more than an hour), most of the audience left and I moved to some seating towards the back to watch the second show, which was much shorter in comparison. I had my eye on quite a few guys, but I wanted to wait until the end before I chose, however most of the guys that I had my eye on were gone (lesson learnt – choose earlier). It was a nice touch at the end when the singers were singing, and the guys that were left were just scattered around the stage, some playing and joking around. I ended up choosing a smaller but muscular guy as from his mannerisms on stage he looked quite fun, and he was also in the big cock show. 34 years old (I think) from Cambodia, went back to my hotel (not hand in hand for once), and he showered with the blinds down. I’m pretty realistic, and I don’t expect to connect with every guy, but he ended up being a little bit of a dud. I sucked him for a while and was getting a little bored and was about to give up and send him home, but then he asked to fuck me and then got a little more animated after that. Kissing was a little difficult as his breath was not, well, fresh. So it wasn’t all bad, but the guys from the other bars were better. But obviously this isn’t an indication of the quality of the guys from the bar itself, as many factors would have been at play – he could have been tired, having an off night, not so much into me, but hey, you live and you learn.

  4. This is not a trip report. Let's call this a trip review since I feel I wrote similar stuff only 2 months ago so I will summarize this short BKK visit in a single yet exhaustive post. 35yo Israeli guy here. This is my 7th trip to my favorite city in the world. My BDay was on August and my husband asked me what do I want. We both knew that he really owed me a nice gift this year for taking care of our child while he had to study very hard this past year. Thus, I asked for a thing I knew will make me very happy and he could enjoy as well: 2 round trip tickets to the White Party in Bangkok. I already heard the rumors of my favorite DJ return to BKK: Offer Nissim. We didn't want to leave our daughter for long, and also I had work so this was an insanely long distance short trip of 3 nights. But as I previously wrote: A trip is better than no trip. The 11 hour flight to Suvarnabhumi went easy as we got upgraded both directions. Fast track made things easier and it took us from airplane door to hotel lobby 56 minutes. Compared to my memory of BKK traffic 2 years ago in NYE, this trip traffic was usually free and not jammed. Don't know why. Le Meridien - this was my go to hotel in BKK. I have very good memories from it so I booked 3 nights for us. It's NYE rates so it costed way more than it should but I knew this was good. I'm afraid that this hotel is not what I remembered it was. My last stay there was Oct 16. The hotel seemed tired: The rooms, the breakfast, the gym, the lounge. I'm not sure if I was too nostalgic about this hotel since I had good memories conceived in it, but I'm kinda sure it's not the case. I think that the same amount of money can get better accommodation, but it's location is unbeatable in my opinion. I do need to emphasize that all was OK with this hotel, just not as fine as I remembered it. The Prince - after arrival, we went to prince to officially start this vacation. Place was PACKED, as you would expect at 5PM a day before NYE. I told my husband we wait and see who comes out of the rooms since the guys on display were the ones no one chose for a reason. After 15 mins a hot guy comes out so I point him out quickly to the mamasan and send my husband with him. After several minutes another guy comes out, athletic figure, and before anyone else can take him, I just point him out and go in. I did not expect him to be that great, but he was. Name was Jack. Massage was everything I expect for when I go to prince. And surprisingly both of us got a full 1H session. Usually I don’t care if we finish earlier when I'm that satisfied but this was a refreshing turn of events. We both left very satisfied to our room to prepare for my queen’s appearance. WPBKK2020 - This was the fifth WP hosted in BKK and my personal 2nd. I visited that party 2 years ago when my DJ queen did her debut performance there. I already wrote in the past the true and important meaning of DJ Offer Nissim in my life so I will spare that text again. I will say that his performance this time was outstanding. The crowd loved him and that party was as I expected it to be and even better. Take everything I'm saying here with some proportion as I am criticized by my friends on not being able to be critical at all when it comes to my queen. Regarding WP production, it definitely got bigger and all small details were taken into consideration on this events. They did an outstanding job regarding production in terms of lights, ambience, scenery, bars, toilets. This productions quality is the best I've seen in the gay circuit world. And believe me, I've seen a lot lol. Being the critical person that I am, I'll point out also the flaws: sound was WAY above decimal limit. Just as it was last time I was there. I had ear plugs but I don't know how people survive this event without. This is illegal in my country and should be also anywhere in the world. Also, on the WP Main event's Offer Nissim party Dec 30 the queues in CentralWorld were about 1H long when we arrived at 22:30. Being the good Israelis that we are, we of course passed them by and did not stand in line like good civilized people. But that queue was a result of bad planning. Last, the production got a bit too commercialized. Lots of booths selling merchandise, and video art inside the party sometimes displayed commercials. Other than what I have written’ the production was on the highest standards in the gay circuit industry. We attended both the WP(Dec 30) and NYE party (Dec 31). Both were kinda similar if you exclude the fact that on the first party my favorite DJ appeared so for me it was way way better. Similar to previous experience, party is 90 percent Asian, 1 percent female. Crowd is mostly Asian foreign since this party is expensive. Our VIP ticket was 120USD for a single ticket to one party. Crowd is very friendly, with a very good representation of what is eye candy for me. Most of the party attenders were likely on recreational drugs. Most of the party attenders were shirtless as it is usually the custom in these kind of parties. Lots of dancefloor flirting and making out occurs, and we do so and enjoy that as well. Party ends rather early but standard for BKK: 3AM. In TLV this is the best time to actually arrive to a club LOL. Babylon - we went to Babylon twice. Jan 1st and 2nd. Both times place was packed and serving my favorite dish: Asian muscular men. Babylon was very generous on me on both times and I left both times shocked with satisfaction. I will add that it's the only sauna in the world that combines the ability to find sex but also to REALLY chill and relax in a nice atmosphere. This place has a warm spot in my heart (and my dick). G Bangkok (G.O.D) - We went there on Jan 1st. As I previously wrote, I love that place in terms of music, crowd, atmosphere and smoking. This was a similar experience. It was PACKED as I expected so we arrived early. In my opinion, the music in this club was better than WPs NYE party. Smoking is allowed and the ambience is dark and sexual, just the way I like it. Ear plugs are essential here as well but music level is not as severe as in the WP. This place and babylon remain my BKK jewels. In lack of time, I spared the Grindr and sexual text, also considering that I wrote extensively on those on my previous reports. This was a BKK quickie with the main objective of enjoying my queen in my favorite city, and so I did. I have no plans to return to BKK soon, but I will, sometime. Maybe Songkran 2021. I'm kinda addicted to this place. But, new experiences are needed and my first taste of Sao Paulo and Rio is coming this Passover, so it will probably be a while till I return to BKK. Love and best wished to y'all! And now to some party photos and videos. They are kinda shitty lol but all was taken by yours truly. I heart Offer Nissim: Offer Nissim - Hyms to god - This is Ofra's apperance song in WPBKK2020 which means that songs start and she appears after a long intro. 5. Food: Room service: I only got room service on the first night (as I was lazy), prices were slightly higher than normal (to be expected from a hotel), but I ended up ordering way too much, and there ended up being 2 people to deliver my food. Oops. It was pretty good though (had chicken wings, som tum, and green curry with rice). The Thais love their spicy food, and I don’t mind a little bit of spice, but I felt as though when I eat Thai spicy food, the spice level is fine to start with, and then the heat just gradually builds up until your mouth is on fire. It was crazy. Super Isan: in the Jomtien complex, I ate here 3 times, the food was simple, decently priced, but so tasty. Really long opening hours – 9am – 2am. Sandbar: I decided to go here on the way back from the beach one as I saw some good reviews of it. Had a cheeseburger and fries and a mango sticky rice and it was decent. Slightly pricey though. Apps: I didn’t really get many messages from guys messaging me first on the apps (but however I found that when I messaged them first, they would mostly reply). I found a guy nearby on Hornet, his profile said he had an 8 inch dick so I was kinda intrigued. After some exchanging of messages (he quoted 1000), he came over to my hotel within probably 10 minutes I think, he was from Cambodia, and looked a little rougher than his photos (but I didn’t mind as that is kinda attractive to me), and said he worked in one of the bars, but I didn’t ask which. It was a pretty awkward encounter. I ended up sucking him for a while, while he watched straight porn on his phone, and roughly played with my hole. Even though his dick was pretty big whilst soft, he wasn’t really getting hard and I was getting bored, so I thought I would just cut my losses and finish the session. I said to him that we are finished and gave him the 1000 baht, after which he said he wanted to fuck me, to which I agreed to, so I went and gave him a condom, which he didn’t want to use, so I said no way, and then we ended the session. A bit of a waste of money on what turned out to be a dud experience, but hey, not every experience is going to be perfect, and I accept that. Later on he sent me a picture message of his (hard) cock but I didn’t really know how to respond so I didn’t. Bars: @Home bar: this was my first venture into the host bars in Jomtien complex. I knew I wanted to go to this particular bar, so I walked down the street and as soon as I got there, one of the guys that worked there grabbed me (they were all standing on the street) and asked if I wanted to come in, so since he was the first to make contact with me I obliged, Cambodian, but not really my type but I went along anyway. Bought him a drink and he was angling for an off really hard, so we ended up going back to my room and having some fun. Sweet guy though, and he even told me to lock up my valuables when I have guys over. Afterwards, he asked if I would off him again but I told him I am a butterfly and he understood. He did end up messaging me on line a few more times asking if I was going to the bar. 4T bar: so this actually started on grindr, I messaged this cute twinkish guy (Thai, 28), and moved our conversation to line. Turns out he works at 4T and I asked if he wanted to come to my hotel before he started work which he agreed to, as long as I could pay the off fee, which yeah was fine obviously. So he came over, and he was a really nice guy, and we were versatile with each other. Later on when we finished we both went to his bar and we had a drink and chatted for a while. When I got the check bin he said that I didn’t have to pay the off fee as he wasn’t gone from the bar for very long, so that was nice, saved myself 300 baht. I ended up offing him another 2 times, for a number of reasons – we connected somewhat, he knew what I liked, and it was convenient as I didn’t have to go to the bars (which I’m really not sure about yet). I paid him the Bangkok tip rate and he was really happy.

    Trip Report - Dec 2019

PATTAYA Halfway through my trip I checked out of my hotel, got on the MRT to Petchaburi, then the ARL from Makasaan to Suvarnabhumi, and caught the bus to Pattaya. Very decently priced at 130 baht. I didn’t have to wait for long for the next bus which was great. Disembarked at Jomtien and walked the short distance to my hotel (Zing). I try not to be too fussy when staying in hotels, but I just wasn’t really into this one. Like, it was quite big (I don’t know if I perhaps got upgraded to a bigger room), but there was a lot of wasted space , and the bathroom was really small. And had an ant infestation. And the shower was annoying (water would go all over the bathroom floor, and it was either hot or cold most of the time – no inbetween). The good thing was that I had 2 balconies (as it was a corner room), one facing towards the smaller Thappraya Rd (where I could see Family Mart through the buildings), and the other balcony faced towards more balconies from what I assume were apartments on top of the businesses on the main Thappraya road. On one of the balconies there were these 2 good looking guys who would pop up each morning and evening, so when I was hanging out on the balcony we would wave to each other. I called them the ‘balcony boys’. One of them accidentally dropped his bottle of water over the balcony and we both had a laugh.

  7. Massages Prime: I really like this place, and was sad when the therapist I had last time wasn’t in town – he was really good. Anyway, I had 3 massages here. The first was a 1 hour Thai/1 hour oil. This guy massaged me like he hated me, he was really rough! I remember he found a knot in my shoulder and wouldn’t let it go and was going over and over and over it with his elbow, quite hard, like he was digging for gold or something. Oil massage was okay. I was sore for the next 2 days. My next massage here was a couple of days later, different guy but same routine (1 hour Thai/1 hour oil), and he was a little more gentle than the first. My 3rdmassage was again a couple of days later and this time I opted for a 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai as I wasn’t really getting into the oil massage here (and the foot massages are quite good). The guy I had during my visit in October was the best that I’ve had there and when I return, I’ll definitely ask for him (hopefully he will still be working there!). I totally recommend this place, really affordable and professional massages, and I highly recommend the 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai for 500 baht. Magic Touch: This place is down the soi that runs next to Le Meridien. When I found it, I took my thongs (flip-flops) off, and was about to go in, but the lady sitting outside asked me ‘you want man?’ and well obviously yes, so she pointed to the small pathway on the side of the building, to another building (all surrounded by a construction site at the moment). There I found a bunch of good looking guys sitting outside, so I went inside, chose my massage (1 hour oil), paid the fee (the guy at the reception desk’s english was really good and he was very good looking), and was assigned my masseur who was smaller and a little older, but still good looking (and with a nice 6-pack as I later found out). The shower was interesting, it was kinda in a public area (with a curtain of course), but the wind from the holes in the wall kept on blowing the curtain open. Massage was in a private room and was pretty decent, a handjob to finish and I gave him a blowjob for a while but he didn’t cum. Recommended. Arena: I’ve only been here once before (2016) but I had a good experience, so I decided to go again. A short walk from Chong Nonsi BTS, made my way up to the 3rdfloor and went inside and sat down. The guy gave me a menu (and was trying to sell me a 4 handed massage, but I declined) and I chose a 1 hour oil massage and picked a semi-muscular guy (from Chiang Mai) that was waving at me. Massage was prefuntory as expected, and afters were okay, kinda went from massage straight into fucking without much foreplay. We had a shower together afterwards where he washed all of the oil off me. Prince: I’ve always been curious about this place so I thought I would try it. Caught the MRT to Lumphini and walked to Prince, a little bit of a trek though. It was a little embarrassing when I got there though as I was walking to what I thought was the entrance looked like a fish pond, so I walked back and saw another door that looked like a service entrance or an entrance to a different house and thought ‘this can’t be right’, so I walked back over to where I was and the ‘fish pond’ turned out to be the entrance. The tiles were just surrounded by water, so step carefully. The reception I got when I entered was a little weird – instead of welcoming me, the guy looked a little confused as to why I was there. So I just sat down and waited for him to bring me the menu. Chose 1 hour oil and chose a muscular guy (28 or 38 I forgot) who was attractive. He led me to the room (which was quite nice actually), showered, and then he came back and showered. Massage was okay, he was using firm strokes, but covered me in what seemed like a gallon of oil. Afters were good, he fucked me hard and in numerous positions, and then washed the oil off me afterwards. I was getting a bit over the massages at this point) even though I love them, but sometimes it just felt a little hurried, which I totally understand as they want to get another customer. But come on, give me a little foreplay! The Sun Massage: I had been walking for most of the day so I felt like having a foot massage. I walked down Surawong Rd and was going to get a foot massage from the first cute guy that accosted me, but no one really did, so I walked down the soi that tawan was on and a cute guy intercepted me outside of the sun massage so I agreed, and then another more beefier guy did my foot massage. It was fine, pretty standard (better at Prime though), and I was the only customer there at the time which was nice and relaxing.

    Trip Report - Dec 2019

I recently came back from a 2-week trip to Thailand (my 3rdtime to Thailand this year), where I visited Bangkok and Pattaya. Some of this report is chronological and some is just the experiences in places that I visited, a little disjointed but I think it gets the point across. It’ll kinda be posted in dribs and drabs as I’m just copying and pasting from a word document which I created. BANGKOK Lucky for me I had a direct flight with Thai Airways from my home city, first time taking this airline and I couldn’t really fault them. Arrived mid-afternoon, went through immigration, collected my suitcase, exchanged some cash in the basement before catching the ARL to Makasaan, and then the MRT from Petchaburi to Sam Yan. Since I was staying at The Raya, I could have gotten off at Silom (or even caught the BTS) but I didn’t fancy crossing Surawong Rd with my suitcase (and crossing Surawong Rd during my whole trip annoyed me to no end). Sam Yan I think is a little further but the walk was easier. The hotel was quite nice, and I got a pretty good deal by booking my flights and accommodation together on expedia. Reception was on the 5thfloor, and my room was on the 7thfloor. Large room, decent sized bathroom (which I like), and I especially liked the glass wall separating the bathroom to the bedroom. I’ve stayed at hotels with a window separating the bathroom to the bedroom, but never an actual full glass wall. The view from my window was facing west so I could see some of Surrawong Rd, and directly beneath my window were the remains of Soi Twilight. There was a balcony, but I was unsure whether or not it was meant to be used as there was no door, but I climbed out of the window and went on the balcony anyway. I quite often looked out at the view for ages, just contemplating life and such. It was quite relaxing. Lots of Japanese guests at this hotel and they were LOUD. Well, on my floor they were. I ended up getting a smoking room (but I wasn’t smoking on this occasion) and the smell blocked up my nose for a while but the smoke smell went away in a day or so. Unfortunately for me I had to bring some work with me that I didn’t manage to finish before I left, so that preoccupied me for the rest of the night (and the next day or so), but I went for a walk, got some water and snacks at 7/11, made an appointment for the next day at Prime (I tried to book the guy I had last time, but he had gone home for 2 weeks, damn), went looking for some dinner but was overwhelmed by all of the choices that I found myself at Bon Chon in the Silom Complex where I’ve been before. Quite nice fried chicken, albeit a little on the pricier side.

    Trip Report - Dec 2019

Food Since I love food, below are a few places I ate at. Thank you for the recommendations from forum members from a post I posted previously, I didn’t manage to get to all of the recommendations, but I did get to some. Mango tree: this place was quite expensive (but I was in the area), and I didn’t find much difference between the food here and what you would find in cheaper restaurants and street food, but the ambience and service made up for it. The maître d was absolutely stunning. There seemed to be a lot of flies at my table though for some reason. Andaman: directly across the road from The Raya, so it’s convenient for those staying there. A mix of Thai and western cuisine, food was okay and decently priced. Northeast: a little bit of a walk, but the food was delicious. Quite a few tourists were here when I visited, and it was quite busy. Highly recommended. Grab food: when I was too lazy to go out, I used grab food (it’s just on the grab app, press ‘food’ on the main screen). Prices were reasonable, and the delivery charge was very reasonable (10-15 baht). The food was mostly delivered in plastic bags, so it was amusing when I was trying to eat/drink soup from a bag. Maybe next time I’ll pack a small bowl in my suitcase. The menus to some of the restaurants were sometimes only in Thai writing, so I had to rely on pictures (and the english listing when available), but there was one time that I randomly ordered a dish in thai writing that I had no idea what it was. That was fun. I was hoping it would be a drink, but it turned out to be a soup, with some sort of meat balls in it. Hokkaido Ramen: this restaurant was across the road from Golden Cock, and reasonably priced (and yum). Tonkotsu Kazan: in the same soi as screw/fresh/dream etc. Really good ramen, and the softest chashu I’ve ever tasted. It was so good that I ordered what I thought was 1 more piece, but ended up being 4 pieces. They were also quite happy to accept credit cards. 7/11: fell in love with the banana cupcakes there (super moist and delicious), and probably had one every day. They are only 10 baht each! Or you can get a 2-pack for 18 baht! Other things I did Mitrtown: this new shopping mall is connected to the Sam Yan MRT and is quite spacious. Just your standard mall really (including muji which has heaps of cool stuff), but there were a lot of food options. I ate at a noodle place, and ordered a dish which I thought was noodles with dumplings, but turns out it was just dumplings without any noodles, but thee best damn dumplings that I’ve ever tasted. Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre: quite easy to get to from national stadium BTS, they have an LGBT exhibition at the moment which is really good (and free!). Some pieces were quite beautiful, other’s quite thought provoking and hard to watch. I spend a good few hours here perusing. A few other exhibitions were on at the same time, but the LGBT exhibition spoke to me the most. It finishes sometime in march I think. Siam Paragon: had a meal at a seafood place, and had a bit of a wander. Wanted to buy a bag but everything was super expensive so I didn’t bother. So many places to eat though. Lots of tourists around. Patpong night market: decided to waste some time before going into the bars one night as it was still early, but I didn’t buy anything. The stalls were pretty much selling all of the same thing. I did walk through one afternoon whilst they were setting up and thought to myself that it must be such a big job having to set it all up and take it down every single day.

  10. Hank....I paid a visit to the BCH in June to replace some lost blood-pressure medication. It was 0030; the hospital was almost deserted and I had to wait no more than ten minutes before I saw a doctor, who spoke excellent English. I bought the replacement medication at a total cost of 1500 bht. The service was impeccable. The answer to your question from my experience is yes.

  11. Even if readers have never visited Bangkok, they can get the feel and true flavor of Silom thanks to your reports. You've mastered the balance between what to include and what to leave to imagination. Having met Van when he stopped by our table at Maxi's a year ago, it was clear that he holds you in much esteem. Those familiar with reports of your earlier trips are familiar with him and how you've looked out for him over time. And, as you show above, he has been looking out for you. We can count ourselves lucky if we meet a young man like Van in our travels. I think you returned home with no regrets because you left few stones unturned. If someone caught your fancy, you gave them a chance--as the wait staff at Freshboys can attest. And allowing us to sit in on your off with Babe was the dessert. Thanks for the memories.

  12. There is none so blind as those who will not see. Your posts read to me like you just don't like brown people and want to avoid them. Your shrill pronouncements about sexual predators ring hollow because you've never actually engaged with any of these guys. Suggesting you know their lives when you've never actually talked to any of them them is bullshit. Speaking in 'defense' of them when you offer them nothing is also bullshit. You are rationalizing your preference for white european guys, and trying to turn your preference into moral superiority. It isn't.

  13. Booming with clients, that’s it. Now with its new location in Consolação, almost next door to me, it’s much easier to go there , so I’ve been there on three the nights, since the NY eve. On January 1st (Wed), 3rd (Friday) and 4th (Sat). I always arrive late... around 8 pm because of work, so that might influence my opinion. The number of clients went from 40-50 on wed to 60-70 on Saturday, with an abismal number of 5 boys on Wednesday (checked at reception) to around 20 on Saturday, most already clothed and leaving (that’s a turn off to me). Unfortunately the number of muscle boys varied from 2 to 4 (one of them been one of the most handsome Arab looking boy ever seen, but always seen in a hurry. Today it was even annnouced that lagoa will now open on Tuesdays now, at least in January (when fragata is closed I think). Please someone tell the boys on Rio there is much money to be made here in Lagoa this month .... Rsrsrs Edit. Forgot to say, these three days left with zero programas done . The one boy I somewhat liked and we had some chemistry going spotted me just after I crossed the door, and when I said was going to do a little look around, he just said “Would not do that if I was you”. He was right.

On a side note, don’t advise rich or foreign looking people walk on foot to and from any saunas in Recife (or anywhere outside the tourist zones). Uber is inexpensive and Recife has favelas inside almost all neighborhoods, including upscale Boa Viagem, which have drug selling places and are heaven for the local know “trombadinhas”, that are usually on bike and can appear “out of nowhere” to rob on knife or gun point.

  18. In fact, many gogo boys do not go back to sleep after their bars close at 2am. They go out for supper. They eat, drink and even gamble. They only go home at 5am or 6am then sleep. i found out that the dancers actually stay behind at the bars from 2am onwards until 5am sometimes to learn new dance routines.

none of those things are even close to being prohibited but yes , it looks you were profiled for an extended check. Happened to me in my country twice as well , it better not to argue , keep cool and polite and I found honest answer about friends from bars actually helped. And so perhaps photo of some hairy hunk in his thirties on your phone. They are not chasing gays or johns, underage is what they are looking for so leave pictures of nephews and nieces at home.

  22. Thank you...but I expect many forum members would do the same. I don't have a kind heart when it comes to family members being sick, the farm was washed away in a flood, I was robbed and need to go home for new year... But when someone, I've known for several years is clearly sick and doesn't know what to do then it's different. Just now recovering from a three-week bout with the flu, I know how important others were in getting me to the recovery point.

  23. while your experience was dispiriting I always advocate against writing off both, places and guys after only one trial. Comes from personal experience, my worst ever and one of best boys ever came from the same bar(Dreamboys) on the same trip only few days apart. Guy who humiliated me most, dumping mid-bar for another one after off fee was paid and one who provided me 2 years later with probably best night-with-boyfriend experience in all my 20 trips was exactly the same Tawan boy. I'm pretty sure other experienced similar roller-coasters

  24. Chiang Mai Massages: Classic House 600 baht for 1 hour oil massage and 1000 baht minimum tip. Had muscle hunks where some were probably a bit older but still very good looking. Was there at 10 pm and they only had one bottom. My masseur, a straight top with a big chest and flat stomach, mentioned that he has been doing it for 20 years, not sure if it was lost in translation. The facilities felt well maintained and clean compared to Common Spa. Communal showers with a mattress on the floor in the room. The one hour included shower time. With my limited massage experience, the definite plus was that he gave an actual good massage. Plus, at one point he oiled up and rubbed his entire body on me hehehe. The extra was wonderful as well - all in all was very happy and gave extra tip. Common Spa the website mentioned 700 baht for 1 hour oil massage. Howeve, when I arrived, the mamasan gave me an all inclusive price list for which 1 hour was listed at 1700 baht. It has multiple floors with a communal shower on each. The facilities were a little rundown with the towel rack almost falling off. The boys there were younger, boy next door and jock types. The room sported a massage table and was dimly lit. The boy I chose had a swimmer build and was a top. Upon arrival, he set a timer at 45 minutes and then left for five minutes to shower. When the massage finally started, he lightly pressed my legs for a few minutes before proceeding to lie on top of me. Was confused as to what he was doing until he signaled that I can touch. Safe to say, the massage was nonexistent and we proceeded to other activities. This consisted of him lying down like a dead fish to be touched. I ended up topping, which is fine, as he could not get it up and looked away most of the time. Would not recommend going here. The all inclusive pricing gives them little incentive to try. Would have tipped him extra if the service was better but it was the worst of the three experiences. Bars Adam Apple was closed both nights I stopped by. Circle Pub had five patrons and a diva show. Not worth going unless you were bored and in the area. Other naughty bit never have any luck on hook up apps. The picture of my hook up was a cute younger bottom who was on the slimmer side. He showed up at my hotel and realized that the pictures were old and beauty mode was on. I was horny so we did the deed anyway. Future reference, ask for a shirtless selfie on the spot. Hotel ISTY Hotel is a hipster hotel in he northwest side of the city by Common Spa and the gogo bars. It is a ten minute walk to the old city and thirty minutes to Classic House, which is on the east side of the city. Chiang Mai is small enough that you can really stay anywhere and just walk. Tourist stuff the city itself is food heaven and full of temples. Would suggest three days there, elephant sanctuary for one, roam the city for the next, and visit a tribal village on the last. The highlight was definitely Classic House. Would have gone back if I had more time!

  25. Apologies for the break in my reporting, New Year's and visitors from out of town occupied my free time. To go back to where I left off, after a more than active Monday, I woke up on Tuesday, usual routine, breakfast at the hotel, checked texts and emails. Van text tells me he is back from his visa run and we agree on having dinner before he goes to work at Banana. I go to Iconsiam to wander around and pass the time. D'ark is my favorite western farang desert spot, so I indulge in an individual tiramisu. Recommended as is the baked Alaska (fondly remembered from another trip). Ferry and Skytrain back to Silom, meet some friends for a coffee. Back at hotel to meet Van at 6...he's late, no surprise, text, he's coming, but... The "but" is that he is sick, he looks bloated, and has a rash. He tells me it started a few hours ago. He asks for some baht to go to a pharmacy. I tell him, no, and take him to the Bangkok Christian hospital's emergency admissions. I turn him over to the medical staff and give them my info for costs. I get texts and photos on a regular basis from Van. They will be keeping him overnight, are feeding him by drip, he has food poisoning. He will later tell me it was probably the fish he ate on his way back on the visa run. Note - I had given him 2000 baht and promised to come to the hospital to pay anything more. I was never asked by Van or the hospital for any more baht. Not sure if the 2000 covered everything or he had some money of his own. I know when I had to use the hospital's emergency services two years ago, my costs were like $30 USD. It's now around 9pm, and I have no plans or commitments, so I head to Red Dragon for a drink with the waiters. Two, who I haven't off, provide extra attention, but I decide to make it an early night, and I do. Wednesday, dawns, and since I'll be leaving in less than 48 hours, I focus on what I need to do. Thursday will be Thanksgiving in the USA, so there is a dinner planned with Reader and anddy. I pick up things I've ordered from Excelsior and Tony Leather. Van has texted that he will be released sometime in the morning and will go home to sleep. Asks about dinner tonight. My next report will pick up from this point...more out of town guests to deal with...

  26. that must be true emergency as at that time of the night most likely most of us in BKK suffer rise in blood pressure . heavy breathing and a sweating, often still forced to exercise by their just recently hired short time personal trainer. And that repeats night after night at least for those on short time assignment in the city

  27. That's why I am having second thought about going to BA as there's no way I can stay up that late and I must have my beauty sleep to not look horrible the next day. How could they do it like that? Don't they need to work in the morning the next day? Besides, isn't leaving so little time for the digestive system to work generally bad for your health and weight? As for the chronic tendency to be late, I have had my fair share of that in Colombia. Later I just realized that if I wanted to meet someone, I'd better set the time at least two hours ahead or find something to do in the neighbourhood. However, I did find that guys with oversea experience tended to be on time. One guy that did his Masters in the UK and the other that exchanged in Europe were fairly on time, but their vibes are quite different from local guys.

Yes I think I just need more practice crossing the road! I did like the spacious room of the Raya, the lack of pool didn't bother me too much as I rarely use hotel pools. Ahh good thinking! Thanks! No time like the present to go to the gym, even when it's 3am hehe Thank you, I try! Thanks for all of your comments! Ah, must remember to have a look next time Aww thank you! I visited Cambodia last year (only for a few days though) but I would like to go back some time in the future. Am looking forward to exploring the different countries in south east Asia. It sucks but hey, what can you do! Just need to take it in stride and not get too upset about it. Ah yep, makes sense! I remember ages ago when I used to work late I would do exactly the same thing. Aww thank you! Thank you!

Thermas Boa Vista, probably still the best sauna in Recife. It’s usually pretty well attended, but as all Saunas in Recife, the number of boys is not too great. Blue Thermas is in boa viagem, the beach neighborhood, but it’s hit or miss. Usually up to 5 boys. On two occasion saw extraordinary looking boys... a muscle model who escorted in Europe and was back to home city for a while (First boy I saw in first time at the sauna, right upon entrance, was impressed and said would look around, never to see him free again) and the other a good looking (model face) huge bodybuilder in top shape (who just entered at same time I was leaving, after receiving an emergency call from a friend). Went back on several occasion, but never saw any of the two again, and never scored a programa there - always left in a uber directly to Thermas Boa Vista . Do not be afraid to ask at the front desk how many boys are there (on one occasion there was none, and I saved entrance fee). All saunas in Recife are heavy at client-client action.

  34. Have said this here more than 1 time before, pardon my egotism: I was out w/my friends of color 2011 in Inwood & Washington Heights very late when Bloomberg's police came at us & tried to start a fight. I threw my little white credible-witness face between us & manufactured trouble. It all exists still.

Wow! I've never paid 3000 pesos for any guy in CDMX. Had some offers around 2500 pesos but even then I declined and then they would go lower. 1000-1500 is not too bad for foreigners but I will go up to 2000 if I'm getting everything I want out of the experience, like multiple extras. On my last trip, I was shopping around between a couple of guys, both the same price IIRC or very close (1200 or so?). I set up an appt with one and declined the other. He went quite a bit lower, around 750-ish. Had it not been my last day, I would have made arrangements to meet the next day. I stuck with the first guy though and was very glad I did. It was an explosively good time, possibly in my top 10 even! I will definitely be seeing him next time I visit, which might even be this month. Anyway, my point is 2000 pesos should be on the high side, but try to negotiate to something closer to 1000-1500. And you don't even have to negotiate per se. Just decline and let them make you an offer.

    Trip Report - Dec 2019

Today for posting trip report! I agree that there is a lot of traffic to navigate when crossing Surawong Road to get back to The Raya but with enough practice, no problem! It’s my favourite hotel because of the spacious room, walking distance to the gogo bars and affordable price. The drawback is the lack of a Swimming pool.

  42. Sorry for the hi-jack. It was not my intention. I was not the one who brought up Hotel Cala di Volpe. It was a reference to a very old post on the other site, and that's the only relationship it has to this thread. I can't speak for AdamSmith, but I assume he felt this thread had run its course, and it would be OK to talk cute and revisit memory lane. I didn't need to respond, but I did. I enjoy AS, so I don't mind when he goes off on tangents. If Oz wishes to delete the offending off-topic posts, I'm OK with that. However, I'd much rather visit Sardinia than a thread that complains about Daddy's bored.

  44. Your comment reminds me I learned that from my first trip to Bangkok. My first trip to a Thai Boy Club I was a bit taken back and felt uneasy. Attractive Guys parading on stage in skimpy underwear with a number attached seemed like a meat market and I was very uncomfortable. But after talking to the guys I realized, as you stated, many had traveled from country villages to Bangkok for the sole purpose of being a sex worker. And I realized I was not only in a different country but a different culture and sex culture. I actively hired escorts for about 10 years around the world, throughout my 40's and was a very active reviewer at the Old Hooboys site and a few here when Oz first started this site. The last escort I hired was when I turned 50 (2 heart attacks and 4 colon surgeries later I am now in my early 60's). I always stayed in a suite at the JW Marriott in Bangkok (this is important to the story). From my many trips to Thailand the one guy that still sticks out in my mind above all was on one of the first nights of my first trip. I met a cute tall guy at one of the smaller clubs. He returned to my room and after some play we ordered room service. He was truly thrilled and I asked him to spend the night. Then breakfast in the members lounge the next morning. I learned that he was from a farming village on the Burma -Thai border and came to Bangkok to be a sex worker, and had not been working long. His family knew why he came to Bangkok and he sent money back home. It was considered honorable. In the village he made money collecting dry-land fish, from a nearby river, and sold them in the village. For those that don't know, that is fish that remains on land after a river or stream recedes after a flood or high water. He lived in Bangkok with about a half dozen or more other guys where they shared one room. So the night in a suite at the Marriott was a big thing for him. I noticed when he was on stage he wore a battered dirty old pair of white tennis shoes without laces that barely stayed on this feet. After breakfast I asked him if he had other shoes, answer no. I asked the hotel if there was a department store near. There was a very nice one just a few blocks away. I asked him to go with me before he left. He did and I took him up the escalator to the shoe dept and told him to pick out a pair, whatever he wanted. I then saw the perfect picture of the Land of smiles on his face. He kept asking about this shoe or that one, I said whatever you want. I stood back laughing while he was sitting in the floor surrounded by a dozen boxes it seemed trying to pick. I think it brought me as much joy as it did him. He settled on a nice pair of Nikes if I remember correctly. Outside he was still smiling big, thanked me again, bowed and we parted. That night I went back to the small club and as I walked in he was sitting off to the side with other guys, wearing his new shoes, waiting for their turn to rotate on stage. As I sat down he pointed toward me and said something to the other guys. As some of them rotated off stage they come over to me, bowed, and thanked me for being kind to their friend. They did not ask to go with me, instead thanked me for their friend. Now I don't know if he was "desperate", but I do know he was just working to support himself and family in a job he came to Bangkok to do and he thought it to be an honorable job. I had great sex with many sexy guys while hiring, including from a certain Escort Agency in NYC , and remember many of these great encounters. But I remember absolutely nothing about the sex with him. But I still remember his reactions at the Luxury Hotel and how good I felt to make him so happy and put that big smile on his face. Yes he did spend the night with me more than once on two different trips. In those 10 years I hired around 200 guys or so (plus repeats) and had close to 150 reviews on the OLD Hooboy site. I have no regrets nor feel guilty about anyone I hired, did not inquire as to their desperation for funds, and met some truly great people that I had much respect for. I had a monthly regular in Indianapolis I met at a strip club. He was 'str8' but our 2 hr visit made his truck payment each month. His girlfriend had used a strapon with him but he loved the real thing more and was a fantastic bottom. Was he desperate for money? Don't know but he was great in bed and got this truck payment made. He got so hard with a cock in him I think he come out of the deal pretty good. I hired several Escorts that were teachers needing to pay off student loans. Were they desperate? Don't know but they were great companions and great in the sack. Anyone that works, does it at least partly for the money, regardless of the profession. Even the rich.

  45. What I used to find ultra annoying was his non stop whining about money, or lack of money. The "I bought a discounted expired meat loaf for 0.99 so I have food for 2.7 days".... That was so pathetic.

  47. Last Word: The more change na, the more same same This trip to Bangkok has given me so much to think about, and so much more to look forward to. I was expecting a lot, since the demise of Soi Twilight, and the change of venue to "straight-land", so I was surprised on how unchanged everything seemed to be, but how seemingly changed it also is at the same time. There are things that are just gone forever, but at the same time replaced with something else. I could not put my finger on it just yet, but it is just a different Bangkok that I discovered this trip. Some musings: The Cost This is just true for the bars and boys I’ve visited this trip: I was surprised on how standardized the pricing for short time and long time is. Almost all the bars and boys and mamasans who talked about it quoted me standard pricing: 2000 baht for short time, and 3000 baht for long time. Except for the Moonlight models of course. I guess this makes things fairly simple for newcomers and experts alike, standard pricing makes it fair for everyone. I can understand the likes of Mekhin will fetch a little bit more, but I guess this takes away the element of negotiating that is inherent in Asian venues, especially the markets like Chatuchak. What would cheap charlies do now? The Money I completely forgot about this when I arrived in Bangkok for this trip, but after getting money from the ATM for the first time since June 2018, I was reminded that the current King is a relatively new one, judging from the new face staring back at me when I counted the money coming out of the ATM. I understand that these new banknotes were first introduced in April 2018, but this was first time seeing the new banknotes with Rama X on it. I’ve always thought that having different colors to signify different values in the money is smart. Compare that to the drab green and black that is present in all of the US dollar banknotes, making them indistinguishable from one another, especially for a newcomer or tourist paying up in dark venues like bars. Thai money reminds me of Brazil’s banknotes, which came in similar hues as Thailand’s. The Bars There is no denying it: I kinda miss Soi Twilight. I kind of liked how special it was, having a specific Soi devoted to the gays. It was almost like a protective enclave, where one is free to express oneself in the confines of a cul-de-sac. I guess now Soi 4 can claim this mantel, a generally gay-exclusive Soi, although obviously it has not reached Soi Twilight heights just yet. I guess it shouldn’t matter, as a lot of people escape to Bangkok to let their hair down, and trying to be oneself in Patpong shouldn’t be more challenging than it was in Twilight, but still, the sense of camaraderie one felt in Twilight is the sensation that I miss. It is gone forever. Time to move on. But the later hours, closing at 2 AM versus midnight to 1 AM, is a welcome change. I was able to do more and thrive with the extended hours. Before, I would have to lean on Screwboys for my late night follies. Now, Freshboys and Luckyboys, among the others, have given me the late night threesomes that is a marked improvement to the boy nightlife. A very big improvement. The Boys I am glad to note that the boys are still same same. They are still sweet, they are still sexy as hell, and they still remain the centerpiece of my Bangkok trips. I always say this every trip: that I need to do more massage in Bangkok, but the only one I got was mind-blowingly amazing. Unfortunately, the sex in general is still as uneven as before, as there is still danger of offing the non-performers. I have been lucky in the past but I was unlucky to have picked one this trip. It never seems to be a problem in Latin America. But this was a minor blemish in my otherwise excellent trip. And thankfully, Bangkok still remains a popular playground for young gay Asian tourists from all over the region, and I am glad I was able to sample from this lot as well. Boys don’t always have to be procured from a stage or a massage table. I’m glad that this has not changed. And now, my Trip awards: Best off: My Moonlight model. Not the best sex I had this trip. This is reserved for Sunlight. But I went into the off with very low expectations, and he exceeded them and much much more. And this is why he rose to the top to be my best off of the trip. We are still Lining each other once in a while. I will see him in the future, no doubt. Worst off: My Moonlight off. Really really bad. He might have been gorgeous, but what a dud in bed. It’s funny that both my best and worst offs are from the same bar. Goes to show you that even in the same bar, you get a wide variety of performances in bed. Best bar: Luckyboys. To me the most complete boy bar in Bangkok. Great ambience, comfortable and optimal seating, amazing and entertaining show, very helpful mamasans, and has the most boys in terms of number and variety. Highly recommended! Worst bar: Jupiter. Only because I’ve had great memories of it in the past, and it disappointed me this trip. I hope next trip will be better. Best boy onstage: Nut of Moonlight. Best body, stage presence, and performance onstage. Worst boy onstage: Mehkin of Jupiter. Went around onstage like a drunk sailor. When he found the whiskey, he was never to be seen onstage again. Best mamasan: Moonlight – failed me with dud off, but redeemed himself with fixing me up with the right Moonlight model. And after, on Line, following up with me about the off. Worst mamasan: Dreamboy mamasan. It was unnecessary to hold my hand the whole time I was there. I will hold a boy’s hand, not a mamasan. Best boyfriend experience: Cambodia of Luckyboys. He made a good impression of Burboy, cradling me from orgasm to the airport. I miss him already. Worst boyfriend experience: Hot Male off. He forgot to ask for my Line and I had to run after him to get his Line. Maybe he didn’t want to see me anymore. Oh well. Biggest regret: Two things: coffee with Old Friend on the second day, and a long time with Hot Male off on the third day. Both didn't happen because I didn’t have enough time for both boys. I just didn’t have enough time for the things I wanted, really. 3 nights in Bangkok is not enough. Brazil or Thailand? Sadly, it is still Brazil for me, if I had to choose only one. But Thailand has given me something to think about this trip. The good thing is I’ve already bought my ticket for my next trip to Bangkok. I won’t say when I’ll go just yet, only know that I’ll be leaving in less than a month. I can’t wait.
