  1. (part 11) Another story of a failed threesome It all started in Boyztown when I fired up Hornet that afternoon and saw a fresh cute face just a short distance away. His profile says he's from Laos. So I said Hello, and he replied in English "I'm moneyboy. Give me 1000 Baht". Pretty turned off by this style of soliciting, I got off. A few days later, I saw that cute face again in Boyz Boyz Boyz, looking pretty much like his profile picture and in the same clothes. Liking what I saw, I struck up conversation again. He said he also recognized me from my Hornet picture. Turns out the first time we talked was his very first day in town and he wasn't yet well-versed in the subtleties of asking for money from prospective customers. All forgiven then. 22 years old, from somewhere near Vientiane, so far no customers yet and with very little money left (he even showed me his wallet: some changes in Thai baht and a note of 5 USD - probably his emergency fund). Since he asked for 1000 Baht before (big mistake), I offered "1000 Baht for short time, okay?" We proceeded to my hotel nearby. He got showered, then checked his phone, reading a new message, then turned to me "Can you give me 200 more for taxi" (already forgot he told me he had been staying in Tukcom, just a few minutes walk from my hotel). It looked like someone started giving him relevant tips. I was like "Ok" (I intended to give him the standard 1500 anyway, unless he's a total dud in bed). I liked both his face and his body, small but firm, and especially his very cute butts. His tool, on the other hand, is pretty... how can I say this nicely... well, it has a nice personality. This fact though gave me some self-esteem boost because mine looked quite huge next to his. As a top only, I care a lot more about the butts and belly area and usually have not much problem with small dick sizes as long as I don't have to use a magnifying glass to locate it. The bigger problem was that he came super super quickly. Just a few strokes then he gripped my active hand, stopping it from moving, and before I realized what happened, it happened. I had barely begun anything. "Why so quick?" He turned to google translation for help with explaining "I was too emotional". It was also pretty awkward at first when penetration began. He was totally clueless about how to position himself to ease the process. I got myself a bottom virgin or what? But once it was underway, he seemed to enjoy it - which was always a big turn-on for me. Two days later, when the Thai from X-boy ditched me for another potential off that did not materialize (see part 10, who, by the way, kept sending me messages day after day about how lonely he was, when I would be back, why make him wait so long - a week in between repeats seems like eternity to certain bar boys with not so many customers, promising he "wait me alone" this time etc.), I called the Lao as a last-minute replacement. Our second time went much smoother as we got to know each other a bit better. I was careful not to do anything to trigger his "short" fuse (in every sense of the word) to keep him hard through out before I finished. Once I came, it took me less than a minute to catapult him to climax. Quick as it might sound, I would say, he has come a long way from our first encounter. I gave him the same 1500 as the last time and he now asked for an extra 100 for taxi, which I obliged. Looks like he started mastering the subtleties of prying more money from easy-going customers. Back to Pattaya this time, I first stayed in Agate in Jomtien Complex. That evening, I fired up Hornet and again saw that cute face just a short distance away (let's call him Little Lao because he's indeed little). I thought he was a few kilometers away in Boyztown. Walking down the main soi, I soon found out why. Spotting him sitting with another Lao friend (whom I also saw working in Boyz Boyz Boyz last time) in Divarium, I stopped by. Buying drinks for both of them and a Thai, who massaged me last time in Soda. He has been freelancing at both places (I never quite get the difference between regular staff and freelancer in a boy bar. They both earned tips from drink and bar fine. It looks like regular staff have to report to work daily, are expected to be on time, and earns some bar allowance if they have no drinks or offs that night. Freelancers come and go as they wish with no allowance). The Thai speaks good English so I enlisted his help for translation when needed. So we talked. Little Lao and his Lao friend (let's call him Big Lao because he's taller and bigger) recently moved from Boyztown to Jomtien because "too many boys there" Little Lao said, "too much competition" Big Lao chipped in. In fact I was not only Little Lao's first customer, I was his only customer during the time he worked in Boyz Boyz Boyz. Although Big Lao (same age as Little Lao but looked younger) has a quite cute face and smooth fair skin, he's on a hefty side (1m74, 60 kg he told me) so not really what I'm into. My initial plan was to off Little Lao again. But I felt kinda bored that evening. Then the fact that they are from the same country, friends and also roommates, both worked in Boyz Boyz Boyz, reminded me of something. So I enquired further "Any of you has a brother, who's currently in Pattaya?" Both shook their little and big head. So there gone the grand idea of reconstructing a classic scene from a cult movie. For members who are not familiar with this reference, I included below a few lines from the movie's original transcript. Anyhoo, I carried on with the idea of offing both of them just for the heck of it. Double checked by asking them directly and then though the Thai's translation to make sure they had no problems with this arrangement. No problems, firmly confirmed. So I paid for my soft drink (60), three boy drinks (150 each, boy gets to keep 50), and two off fees (300 each, boy gets to keep 100), tipped the Thai 200 for his help with translation. We walked back to Agate at around 10.30 pm. Both receptionists were still on duty so they checked for Id. Little Lao carried with him the physical passport, Big Lao - only a picture on his phone. Both were accepted and no joiner fees were required (I booked a double room). Up in the room, both stripped down to their underwear. Little Lao was still little, Big Lao was indeed pretty big (I think he lied about his weight - should be at least 5kg heavier). Big Lao went to shower first and he took quite a while - at least 20 minutes. Little Lao and I cuddled a bit and I could tell he was getting hard just from my running fingers over his body. It seems he genuinely likes me. However, getting hard didn't mean nothing else is going on in his other mind. "So you f*ck me, or you f*ck him?" Based on what I saw them in underwear, I was pretty sure "I'll f*ck you only" He smiled as this was exactly what he was getting at. "If you f*ck me only, can I get more money?" Didn't sound like their bonded friendship was that strong. I calmly told him I needed to be fair and would give them equal amount this time. Next time, I would off only him and would give him more money. "Thank you" his voice was very soft, almost sounded like a child. He hugged me tighter and his little bird was now hard as a rock. So he genuinely likes me, but obviously not anywhere in the vicinity of his love for money. I feel embarrassed to tell you what happened next but I will anyway. My professor in Orgy-ology, vinapu, must have good laughs at my expense. In bed, the discussion continued re. who f*ck who. "I f*ck you, you f*ck him" was Big Lao's suggestion. "No I'm top only, so I f*ck him, then he f*ck you" was my counteroffer, which made Big Lao laughed his head off, so hard he almost fell off the bed (probably at the mere image of Little Lao's tiny prick poking at his immense bottoms). "How about you and I both f*ck him" was my other idea which is cue for Little Lao's turn to react unreasonably. "Noooo, I only let you f*ck me" He screamed, clinging to me for dear life. Since this wasn't going anywhere, we decided they both work on me first so I get ready to perform, then I decide who I wanna f*ck and the person who doesn't get f*cked chuckwow on his own. Two Laos then talked in their mother tongue and decided Big Lao take care the upper part, Little Lao - the lower part. Then we achieved a new level of awkwardness. None of them wanted the other to see his own junk, so Big Lao focused more on using the blanket to strategically cover his not-so-easy-to-cover body, while Little Lao kept his underwear on. After a while, I decided Big Lao turn to one side to chuckwow while I work on Little Lao under the cover. They then started talking to each other in their first language again, it was very distracting as nobody could keep it hard for long. At one point I had to tell them to shut up, but still, I couldn't finish. Seeing this was already a fiasco, to get it over with, I told them everyone chuckwow and no one could get up until he cum. That had an immediate effect on Big Lao, who stopped talking and kept at his task at hand. After a minute, Little Lao started talking again, only to be shut up by the glaring Big Lao, who now also found it in his way. Big Lao cum first. If we were in Nice Boys, he might have won that 300 Bath-prize. I finished second but it took forever for Little Lao, which is a big surprise based on past statistics. I figured out what might be problem and told Big Lao to shower first. Once he was out of sight, Little Lao achieved orgasm in less than a minute as usual. Now come to think of it, if only I told him there were a 300 Bath at stake, we might have a new world record. It seemed Little Lao's bed behavior was very different when his friend was around, and not in a good way, except for the money haggling part, which is in itself no good news either. When they were about to leave, I gave them their money. Big Lao barely glanced at his, but his eyes glued intently on what I gave Little Lao, probably to make sure that they received the same amount (he could tell I was more attracted to his friend). Again, didn't sound like the bond between the two was that strong, mutually. Once they were gone, I recounted my thick wad of remaining 1000 notes, telling myself "Never again", which exactly what I told myself after my previous feeble attempt at threesome. Some people just never learned. Before you all scoffed at me, I did learn my lesson. The next day, I was in Toy Boy, and again torn between two boys, both also from Laos (now it looks like I have a thing for Lao twinks), both attractive but in different ways. The first one, 26, more fair, worked in Toy Boy before Covid so he's pro (evidenced by the way he touched me in all right places right there in the bar). The second one, 23, more tanned and more toned, looked like he came straight from some paddy (indeed he was a farmer back home). Seeing what the other was doing, he also tried to massage me, awkwardly, using a bit too much of force. But his awkward shyness was actually what attracted me in the first place (and probably why I ended up being the first customer for quite a few boys in my life). After talking to them and knowing that First Lao got about 2 offs from the bar each week and Second Lao, only working there for less than a month, had no off yet and had so far survived on drink tips, I decided to off the Second Lao first. When he got up to get dressed, the whole bar cast cheered up for him, some even clapping, probably for winning his first customer. It looked like they were truly happy for him. Total expense (noticeably more expensive than Jomtien as this is Boyztown): 220 for my soft drink, 250 x 2 for two boys drink (boy gets to keep 100), 500 for one bar fine (boy gets to keep 100), 200 tip for the boy I didn't off (who accepted the missed opportunity gracefully) with a promise I'll off him next time, 40 x 2 tip for two other boys in underwear on stage, who tried pretty hard to get my attention, 50 tip for the mamasan who helped with the off, 20 tip left on the receipt folder, and last but not least, 1500 short time fee for the boy I picked. There was another mamasan, who had nothing to do with the whole process, shoved his hand to my face demanding tip to which I firmly said No. I checked to make sure Second Lao bring his passport. He did. However, this time, I brought the boy back to Agate quite late (around 11h30 pm), there were no receptionists on duty and hence no Id check. The one night guard sitting outside couldn't care less. Just got the above Hornet offer from probably one of the expats retiring to Pattaya. Straight to the point, zero social pleasantries, but with enough relevant information for people who need it. I feel flattered (someone still thinks I'm worth 1000B). It's also evidence that 1000 is the on-going rate some local expats would pay for short time service. Later I messaged a grab-driver-slash-money-boy, who asked for 2000 then quickly agreed to 1000 when I mentioned that "my local friends" only pay 1000. (to be continued)

  2. I went twice to Fresh Boys on Patpong Soi 2 within the same week, but what a difference the hour makes. The first visit, I arrived at about 10pm and stayed for the show. The bar was more than half full. The second visit, I arrived after the show (I can't remember what time exactly) and there were only three other customers there. At 10pm, I counted 18 customers, filling up the two rows of benches facing the stage and as a result, I was shown to a side bench. From that vantage point, I could see that five customers had six boys sitting with them. The total number of customers increased to 25 - 28 by showtime at 10:30pm. However, the bar saw well more than that number of customers because throughout the evening, there was quite a lot of coming and going. The mamasan helpfully moved me to a better seat when a customer left. There were 25 - 30 boys, rotating 10 to 12 at a time on stage, all shirtless and in white shorts. Sitting with customers were 5 - 6 boys. Most were S2 and S3R with the occasional S3M or Q2. In short, "medium twinks". It's a small space, and customers are close to the stage. When off the stage, the boys often sit in a section that faces the customers and eye contact is easily made. That compensates somewhat for the bad choice the bar made in choosing yellow and white for some number tags. The contrast between the two colours is so low, it is virtually impossible to make out the boy's number from anything more than a metre and a half away. This annoyed me because the one guy I thought best-looking had a yellow tag and try as I might, I just couldn't make out his number. Fortunately, he walked by a few times and smiled and we connected. The show could well be the "best" in Bangkok in my estimation, for the simple reason that it had no lip-sync katoey items. These numbers put me off, not least because they also tend to turn up the volume for the song. Undoubtedly the acts were amateurish, but I wasn't here for slick and polish. There were only six items, all performed by the rotation crew. Five out of the six items had engorged appendages on display. The second last act had three guys with stiff members whacking a metal pole, after which they circulated among the audience for gropes and tips. This was followed by the finale that had two guys in coital positions. I didn't off anyone that night. My WhatsApp kept distracting me with messages from home, and with a small crisis brewing, I felt that a longish voice conversation was being expected from me in the following hour. A couple of nights later, I was back at Fresh Boys, timing it for after the show since I was intending to take a boy out. I had no clear idea which boy that would be but since I had the impression from my first visit that quite a number of boys from Fresh were within my acceptability criteria, it was probably the place with the best chance of a good fit. Wow, there were only three other customers post-show. More importantly, there were only about 12 - 15 boys. Assuming that the bar had started the evening with the usual complement of 25 - 30 boys, that meant that about half the boys had been taken, a pretty good "off" rate. I shouldn't have been surprised. The other night, amongst the coming and going, I saw three customers leave with new-found companions within the 30 minutes before the show began, Yellow tag was among the less fortunate ones that night. He had not been taken and was still there. I called him down from the stage and resumed our conversation from where we had left off the previous night. Unlike the last time when, because I didn't want to raise his hopes of an off from me, we talked only about his family and his home town, this time we went quite quickly into the specifics of what he would do and what he'd rather not do in bed. He leaned over and sort of whispered into my ear. "I can bottom," he said. I hadn't expected that, as he looked straight to me. Nonetheless, I did not let my surprise delay me. My reply was ready. "And I can top." A few minutes later, the bill was called. At Fresh Boys, each drink was 350 baht. The off fee was 500 baht.

  3. Day 4-6: Fighting for a new life Today is a new day, and for Tiago, today is the start of a new life. His main reason to be in Thailand is to stay for at least 6 months to get training in Muay Thai, as he had in Jiu Jitsu in Brazil, and economic realities meant that doing this in Thailand is way cheaper than in Brazil. It will also enabled him to get into the Asian fighting circuit that have boasted any number of Brazilians looking for easy money doing what they love to do. Having gotten to know him for a better part of a year, first in Brazil, then having him tag along in my travels, I am confident that he has the drive, and the skills necessary, to be a success. Probably not to the top of his sport, but enough to gain the necessary experience to further a career in this realm, to either teach the sport in western countries, or mount a school and/or gym himself in his home country, among other possibilities. He is certainly making the most of whatever physical gifts he has, and taking advantage of his youth and energy, to get to the next level. I’ve often wondered how boys get into prostitution. It takes a certain intestinal fortitude to withstand the day to day demands to survive the mental and physical toll that is inherent in the profession. One Brazilian boy I’ve known describes it as a constant series of humiliations, being objectified, poked and prodded, facing constant rejection, doing constant negotiating, a lot of chasing, all for the money he will need to pay his bills. He still sticks to it, because it is lucrative, and since he has not gone to school, and doesn’t have any traditionally marketable skills, this is his greatest chance to get the most money that he needs. He knows that he won’t be young forever, so why not strike while the iron is hot? Having a fat 9-inch penis doesn’t hurt either. Tiago has told me that the rigors of sauna and bar boy life aren’t for him. He is not above selling his body for money, he says, and admits he has entertained the random offers he has gotten when he is, for example, on a Brazilian beach or at a club. But he has a more stable family life and has gotten some support from his parents whenever he needed to get bailed out from a missed rent check or to refill his kitchen pantry. And he prefers using his body for fighting, a love of his that he has cultivated since he was a teen. After getting good at Jiu Jitsu back home, he has set his sights on Thailand where he wants to spread his wings. --- We wake up at 6 AM, to catch a 9:00 AM flight to another Thai city, where Tiago’s MMA gym is. We plan on spending 3 days there, to work out his living arrangements and secure his place in the classes that he wants to take, as well as to make sure that he has face-to-face interactions with the staff of the gym to make a determination that this was really where he wants to end up. Before this, all his conversations with the gym people have been virtual, with many video conference calls to the Brazilian part-owner and some of the Brazilian fighters on staff. Nothing beats in-the-flesh interactions, and he has asked me to form my own opinions of what I will see, to help him decide if this is indeed a good decision for him to take. I get us a Grab Taxi to the airport, which amounted to 427 baht, since I always ask the driver to take highways, and the driver was able to add the 75 baht tolls to the fare: The plane ride over was fairly quick and efficient. We then took a taxi to our hotel. I splurged a little bit on a resort hotel to at least get some pampering in, while taking advantage of the resort’s many pools, great restaurants, and other cool amenities. After a quick lunch, we quickly head over to the MMA Gym, to get it out of the way. Tiago wanted to spend the whole day tomorrow to just veg out in the resort with me, before we head back to Bangkok on the third day. Any doubts Tiago had over the gym quickly melted away when we stepped out of our taxi into the gym complex. Most of the workout facilities were outdoors, and with Thailand’s sweltering heat that might not be ideal, but we see a fair number of people working out sparring with each other and with punching bags which were a-plenty. There were two practice boxing rings that I saw, and a courtyard that had people milling about. Tiago’s eyes lit up. He was impressed. We were met with a Thai employee. He spoke to us in English, and as before I explained to him that Tiago didn’t speak English well. We were lead to where the living quarters would be, and we found some Brazilians who were living at the gym. Most of them then joined us and the Thai guy to take a tour of the place. There was a stage area, where the public fights happen, we were shown some of the living quarters – kitchen, bathrooms, and the room where Tiago would be staying at. It was a modest room, a bed, a fan, some shelving, closet space. We were told there was wifi all thoughout. Tiago told me this was more than enough for him. The room afforded him privacy, and a comfortable place to rest, which is all he needs. We then met up with the Brazilian part owner. He rolled up on his motorcycle, wearing Muay Thai shorts and nothing else but his flip flops. A fighter himself, he was 35, and still very much in fighting shape not to mention fairly handsome. A typical rugged Brazilian. After some introductions, he then takes us to his office to talk business. Tiago wanted me there with him to help with the decisions. The owner was impressed that I can speak Portuguese, and made the remark that when he first got to Thailand, he spoke no English, but learned through living here many years. Tiago then commented that he hopes that will be the case for him too. I mention my journey to Portuguese, and told them all the classes in the world were no match for actual immersion and speaking it with native people. The owner spelled out how things worked in the gym, the daily routine, how much the classes were, the accommodations, the food. The owner will be able to give Tiago a discount if he helped out with setting up the gym first thing in the morning, and cleaning up at night, since he was short-staffed. He then tells Tiago on how he can earn money with helping to teach MMA to western farangs who come to the gym to learn as well. He says that with Thailand reopening, he has seen student numbers tick up again, and is expecting to be really busy going into the high season. Also, there will be some opportunities to fight locally, in Bangkok, and overseas in Cambodia, South Korea, and other nearby countries is also a possibility, to earn some extra pocket money. This all sounded good to Tiago, and to me as well. After this we were shown some gyms with weights and cardio machines that Tiago can join to maintain muscle, and to a local fighting gear store where he can get his boxing gloves, tape and others things. The owner commented that it was more expensive to buy it here than in Bangkok, and recommends that if we were heading back to the capital that Tiago do his shopping there. We then sit down for some coffee (at the air conditioned gym thankfully) and just shared stories about Brazil and Thailand. The owner is very charming, and seems to be a really awesome guy, and he shared his take on how it was to live in Thailand as a Brazilian. As Tiago and I went back to the hotel after all this, we had a long conversation about all the information that was presented to us. Both of us had a good feeling about it. Tiago’s brain was already swimming with all the things he intended to get accomplished here. Once we step of the taxi at the hotel, Tiago holds my hand as we walk back to our room, and once we were in the room he hugs me, telling me that he is grateful for this opportunity, and it wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t buy his plane tickets. I told him that it was his vision that got him here. I only greased the wheels. Plane tickets for Tiago: $453 one-way from Sao Paulo to Doha, 10k + 40k Avios points from Doha to Dubai to Bangkok. Gratitude that Tiago has shown me: Priceless We actually went back to the MMA gym later that day, because there was a public fight scheduled that featured 5 fights. I got to talk to the other Brazilians as well. Thank goodness for hot Thailand weather. All the fighters were shirtless, and I’ve lost count of the abs that I’ve seen total. The fights were well attended, with some farangs sprinkled in a mostly Thai audience. They sold some food and liquor during the fights, which I bet is a money maker for the owners. As promised by Tiago, we spent the next day just vegging out. The pool, strolls around the resort complex, pool, sex in the hotel room balcony, pool, hit the buffet and the pool bar, and then a nice dinner in one of the resort restaurants. Even if there was a whole city outside this resort, I picked it to take advantage of the amenities, and also to take a break from all the running around we’ve been doing this past 3 weeks. The next day, recharged because of the relaxing day before, and renewed because of the knowledge that Tiago will be in good hands once I leave him to his own devices next week, we were in good spirits. Tiago left his big luggage behind at the gym since he was coming back, and left with just the necessities for the rest of my stay with him in Bangkok. We consolidated all of our things into my big luggage including some in my carry-on, and then checked my big luggage at the airport for our flight to Bangkok. That was a mistake, as I left something in the checked bag that almost ruined my night. That’s next post.

  4. I can only give a recent experience of East Suites in Jomtien (as have never stayed Agate) where I stayed for 10 nights last month, my first trip to Pattaya for 30 months. Despite the length of time since my last stay I found East Suites as immaculate as before. I had booked the Executive Suite 70sq m which is huge, but the other standard suites are 50 sq m and also very large. One difference post-covid was the entry system. Before East Suites had 24hr reception, but now has a key fob which 'beeps' for the auto open/close front door, I found that easier than the previous 'pick-up keys at reception' routine. The reception was open from early morning until about 6-7pm where free coffee and croissants are available at breakfast time, so the key fob only really used at night, so therefore no issues with joiners. The room was as usual immaculate. One thing it does have compared to most hotel rooms is a small kitchen area with coffee maker and microwave with cutlery/glasses etc which we found very handy and are used to with staying primarily in apartments. Possibly for some the fact Est Suites has no lift is an issue, but there are ground floor rooms available. I prefer using stairs no matter where I stay and only use the lift when checking in and out with luggage, but at East Suites the male receptionist is available to assist with luggage and is very helpful. The prices Bt1400-Bt1700 depending on room size never really change, but compared to what you get are excellent value for money. Compared to The Agate the room sizes at East Suites will probably be about double the size. John the owner is usually around the reception daytime and is very approachable and helpful. I had no issue with noise from the Complex at East Suites.

  5. Oh gosh Screwboy!!! The legendary bar! I remember this bar closed late if my memory is not failing me. I've had so many great memories from that bar, and can still distinctly remember the bar's layout. I also remember having a preferred table to sit in that was far enough away from the stage to not be harassed by mamasans and boys, but close enough to have a good viewpoint of the merchandise, as well as ample seating for a boy when I am ready to get to know one up close. I also remember the sort of sketchy front door with a tour always up front. Looked at Google and found this. So much memories flooding back: And looking at an old flyer, I remember a lot more about this place. Yes there was karaoke in the bar as well, and I remember the bathroom for Screw Boy was in the karaoke area, if I am remembering it correctly. I haven't thought about this bar in a while: And to me its greatest strength was that it had a closing time that was later than a majority of the boy bars. I wonder how it was able to get away with that back in the day (as in the last decade). It was very useful if you ended up alone because you couldn't find someone to off earlier, or even more useful if you needed a second off for the night, after your short time session is over early. I don't know why there isn't a late night bar that can do this like Screwboy did before. I have a similar beef with Brazil saunas, with closing times at 11 pm or 12 mn. Which is why Termas in Barcelona is such a treasure. Some other pics I've seen: From 3rd Anniversary celebration. Not the usual boys on offer, but it has a nice shot of the stage, that also brings back memories: And I forgot all about this weird drag queen, but this number was a staple, so can't resist posting it here: So yes, I share all of your wishes to have Screwboys reopen, even mores than Lucky Boys (tho can't hurt having both reopen). Does anyone have the scoop on that? I am completely unaware of what the story has been on that, and the current word on the ground.

  6. I don't care if they speak Thai or not, if they are good at what they do, I'm happy (doctor wise). I don't care if they speak English or not, if they are good at what they do, I'm happy (boy wise). I don't equate either to the Thai minimum wage as they are both professionals. I think that may where we diverge in our opinions? I view escorts are professionals and not minimum wage workers. No apology needed. I have had people poking the bear for 20 years. I have a think skin. I use to live in Pattaya and went out nightly and loved my time there. For the last 10 years, I only went to visit a dear friend. He is no longer with us so I don't go as often as I was mostly going to see him. I find I can be just as happy boy wise in Bangkok and still get to all the big malls.

  7. The government office for changing car ownership is a trek for most. It is near the old airport area. The traffic is an absolute nightmare. We spent over 2 hours trying to find parking in bumper to bumper traffic. Then, only to be told to go somewhere else first. We had been to another office and filled out all the required paperwork but it seems many don't know what the full process is. After an inspection of the car, we went back to find parking and another hour when a guy on a motorcycle told my Thai friend that he could all this for us for a fee. I was tired and asked if this was legit and the BF said yes. So, we did it. We gave him the blue book, all the paperwork and the money 3,000 plus a tip 1,000 for his shop and off he went. Two hours later he returned with all the work done, a new blue book, and the BF with a car in his name. I recently bought a new Camry and wanted him to have the SUV in his name as I know it is better this way. Now, his mother thinks he hit the lottery and I'm sure she will have her hands held out for money soon. LOL If we had gone in together, a farang and a Thai, they may have not believed that I was giving it to him and they could have made us pay more. But, with the little service, it was fast and efficient and no issues with the paperwork and no additional money.

  8. It's a big mistake to arrange threesome with two boys whom are freinds/roommates it's an akward situation for them and it's better to ask the boy to choose the partner he wants.

  9. It's true that this topic always seems to generate a lot of heated discussion and I don't know why. When compensating a guy for his services I first look at the going rate and set that as my minimum. After that I look at the value for money side and adjust my payment accordingly. I think the guys have a terriblly difficult job, serving customers old enough to be their grandfathers. Some are also rather unattractive, others are rude and demanding - and yet the guys have to soldier on. Of course some can refuse to service certain clients but others are forced to by their bar. How they manage to get hard has always been a mystery to me. The thought of having sex with someone like myself must be a very daunting prospect, softened for the boys perhaps by the fact that I'm nice to them and show them total respect. I can also be quite generous if I really like someone. I find the Thai boys I "interact" with to be polite, friendly, totally honest and respectful of me and my "needs", basic as they are. They are lovely people. They've gone through the tough Covid times so I will be extra generous when I get back to Thailand.

  11. When I first read this, I read 40,000 per day. and could not understand why you asked the question (40 COP/day ~ 10usd ) is essentially minimum wage for government employees and very fair. but 40/hr seems too much without some fringe benefits. (Siam Roads is 99$ for a full day) I offered $50 a day (24/7) with of course transportation, food expenses for my guide/companion. He was very happy with that. ( I know from offering others $30 USD a day was good enough). In the end, with bonus and gifts ended up at 250COP/day which included some days he did not work. The going rate the locals (non professional) charge each other for short time sex is ~40,000 (according to my guide). My lowest short time was 80COP plus taxi 100COP + 20cop tip for great performance or about 30usd. Most grindr short time wanted 120COP for foreigner plus taxi (I rarely negotiate). short time Street whores in Plaza Botero was 30 to 40cop (for women reported to me by an experienced sexpatriot).

  12. Is it just me, or are others also wondering what the fascination is with 2 guys beating up on each other? Being elbowed in the face or kicked in the ribs doesn't do it for me. What am I missing? Mind you, I would love to admire those toned bodies, but only in the gym, not in the ring. There was a Thai kickboxer who got into trouble for posing naked in a gay magazine. My God, he was hot!! Here's hoping Tiago doesn't get hurt!

  15. Agree completely with giving the lads a good time. Last week I took 4 bar lads to Koh Larn, they showed me a better beach, had lunch, some went on a jet ski. That evening they invited me to drink with them on the beach. They can show us a good time in other ways than sex. I think bar lads like all the tips, unless they're bizarrely on the low side. And when it's raining a lot, like now in Bangkok, and there are few customers, we can be more generous.

  16. Two doors from the soon-to-reopen Senso Massage was a restaurant that billed itself as a place for Isaan food. Named Somtum Der, it served provincial cooking in a chic setting. I flipped through the menu on a stand at the streetfront and noted that the prices were reasonable, but it was only a little past six and a tad too early for dinner. Should I or should I not? Then two twenty-something guys came from inside to their glass door to invite me in. "Oh," I said to myself half-jokingly, "what are the Senso guys doing here?" The guys looked deliciously like some of the staff we remember so fondly of Senso. All resistance crumbling, I went in and chose a strategically located table with a good view of the bar and service counter. I particularly loved the woven rattan (or bamboo?) baskets overhead. My guess was that these were inspired by the baskets Isaan folk use to catch fish in rivers or perhaps to hold chickens on their farms. It wasn't a long menu - a good thing - and my order came quite quickly. It turned out to be a wonderful meal. There was a larb salad with generous amounts of fried catfish in flakes. I asked for it to be medium spicy and it was just right for my non-Thai palate. The spring rolls with pork filling were crisply fried, yet very light on the oil. Yummy. The raw vegetables on the side apparently accompanied every order; I didn't have to ask for it. Finally, there was sticky rice steamed in a small woven bamboo cylinder. This is a standard part of an Isaan meal. The total bill came to 285 baht, which included a 10 percent Service Charge. But, feeling very satisfied with the meal (and the scenery), I still added a small amount as extra tip. Although it looked like a small place, there were quite a number of tables. There was a terrace that might be perfect during the cooler season, and there was also a mezzanine floor inside. On the glass front were a number of Michelin decals. I don't know much about such things, since I'm one for the simpler things in life, but this may mean something for those in the know.

  17. Day 3.75: Trip down memory lane For us return travelers to Thailand, there must be a beacon that gets released up in the air the minute we land at Suvarnabhumi Airport alerting the bars and the boys that we are back. How else would they know that we are back? I may be exaggerating, but it only took one night in two Bangkok bars, and a visit to the HotMale town crier, to get at least 5 messages on Line from past boys I’ve known, asking the eternal questions “You in Bangkok?” After two and a half years, they still hold on to our Line numbers, even after the conversations with them have stopped. Anyway, I received an interesting Line message on the first night of the trip from a past boy: I looked at the last time he messaged me, and it was on November 25, 2019(!), which was the last time I was in Bangkok. I look at his profile picture, and yes, he was one of the last offs I had on that trip. And on this current trip, I remember seeing him at Hotmale the first night, hanging out with a customer. I guess he recognized me as well, because this text message was sent a couple of hours after that encounter. Then I got to thinking, how did he know that it was me on Line? I didn’t have a profile pic, and I never send photos of myself to the boys, so the only way he would have remembered is that he just had a good memory. After two and a half years, remembering my Line from the other faceless farang contacts he has, and recognizing me after a passing encounter in a dark bar. That is truly impressive. I do remember my off with him fondly. I offed him an another boy from Lucky Boys for a threesome: And this little snippet about him: That then got me to thinking, why hasn’t Lucky Boys reopened? I googled and get this listing. Permanently closed? Looking at my last trip report, it seems that I identified Lucky Boys as the best Bangkok boy bar I went to on that trip, as I found the boy offerings, the boy show, and the ambiance to be the best and most balanced. After this New Twilight fiasco, I just don’t know why certain bars are still closed. This is what I said about it in 2019: So in this night of no off, since New Twilight did not deliver the goods for both Tiago and I, I am once again drawing from the past and relying on the company of a past off. Just like MonBoy, I was eager to connect again with Cambodia, and my threesome with him and another Lucky Boys off I called Myanmar which occurred last trip, was a good indicator that Cambodia would be open to a threesome also this time. I ask Tiago if he was up for another threesome with a fun bottom. He doesn’t always say yes when I ask this, sometimes it depends on whether he is tired or would rather watch tv or talk to friends on his phone. But tonight he asked, “Is it a boy from that awful bar?” I laughed. “No, its someone I knew in 2019.” I showed him pics that Cambodia had on his Line Feed. Tiago looks approvingly, and says “Yes let’s get him tonight.” I sent Cambodia a Line message, as we made our way to Patpong to hang out at Hot Male bar. As we sit down, I check my messages and see a response “Where are you.” I tell him where. “I go to you now.” I tell Tiago the news. I see one host boy trying to talk to Tiago and Tiago trying his best to talk back. He still needs help with the English. I wonder he will make it on his own after this week, but I realize there are even more Brazilians in his gym who supposedly can help him in this regard. After 15 minutes of drinking and talking to HM, Hotmale Bar Boy extraordinaire, a familiar figure comes up to us at the bar. It was Cambodia, grinning from ear to ear. He shakes my outstretched hand, and then looks to Tiago and shakes his hand as well. He looked genuinely happy to see me. I tell him to sit with us and asked him if he wanted something to drink (he didn’t). I look at Cambodia more closely. He has not aged at all. He told me he was 22 in late 2019, so he must be 24-25 now, but still looks like a teenager. He asks me about details of my trip, and who Tiago was, and I asked him about the pandemic. He told me he got back last May, after spending almost 2 years back in Cambodia. I asked him what he did during that time, and he said “take care of family,” which was pretty nice to hear. He said after the bars closed, and then customers dwindled, he decided to leave and stay home for a while, but came back once he thought he could make a living doing this again. “You want to come to our apartment?” I ask Cambodia. “Can,” he said. Just that. Can. I ask Tiago what he thought of the idea. He gave a longer answer, more than “Can” (more like beercan), but basically he also "Can". So with this “Can” do attitude, I hailed a Grab Taxi to meet us up at the Surawong side of Patpong, and pretty soon we were on our way. Same same order – Tiago to the left, boy to the right, and me, at the center of this triad, responsible for all of us getting together tonight. At the apartment, the first thing that Cambodia notices was the pile of 3-in-1 coffees left by the apartment owner. “Please?” Cambodia asks, taking one of the packets. “You?” I then ask Tiago. He nods. I guess everyone wants coffee, so I fill up the water heater with enough water, and pretty soon all 3 of us are drinking 3-in-1 coffee. Tiago is again being shirtless again, and is down to his shorts at this point. Cambodia, still as reserved as he was back when I first met him under 3 years ago, was still in his t-shirt and jeans. “You are not feeling hot?” I ask Cambodia. Cambodia smiled, knowing exactly what I meant. “Can I shower?” he asks me. I say yes, pointing to the master bedroom with the bathroom en suite. So he takes off his shirt, folds it neatly and sets it on the couch. He takes off his pants and then folds them as well. Then he turns around and takes off his underwear, and cheekily makes his way to the bathroom. I see Tiago laser focused on those perky buttocks. This was going to be interesting. Tiago chugs his coffee and then excuses himself to do a shower himself. I join Tiago in the second bathroom to have a shower as well. When we emerge back out to the living room, we see Cambodia sitting back down, wrapped in a towel, sipping the rest of his coffee. Tiago goes up to Cambodia, takes his hand, and leads him to the bedroom. Cambodia actually fit really well with Tiago. Cambodia seems to love the deep kissing, so Tiago and him had a time doing that a lot during our time together. And Tiago loves how smooth Asians are (probably why he’s with me) and could rim a smooth ass all night, as he did with Cambodia. Cambodia seemed to be game with everything, and when it came to bottoming for Tiago, seemed to relish the sensation way more than MonBoy did. I could tell that Tiago was enjoying himself, and that in itself was a huge turn on for me. There was a point where he had Cambodia on all fours, and he slid Cambodia towards me so Cambodia could suck my dick. Tiago then started fucking Cambodia slowly at first, and then with some force. Cambodia seem to be game for it, and continued to suck me while thrusts came. The whole time this was happening, Tiago was looking at me, and when Tiago caught my eye, he mouthed the words “Te amo,” to me, communicating that he hasn’t forgotten me in this tryst. “Te amo mais,” I mouthed back. That was actually pretty sweet. When we were done, and showered, Cambodia let me know that he can’t do long time tonight, as he has plans early tomorrow. I didn’t plan on having him on longer so that worked out. Before he left, Cambodia told me that “Next time, you fuck me,” which was a nice gesture. Probably needed to say because although Tiago could do it much better than I do, Cambodia knew I was the one making decisions. 4000 baht and a Grab Taxi later, he was on his way. So Cambodia is 2 for 2 with me, and both were threesomes as well. Some boys just play well with others. Next post, we had to wake up early tomorrow…

  18. I was a bit antsy last night and went out early for a nice evening. A Thai friend and I went to a local Cigar Bar we like and relaxed a bit after dinner. We weren't really doing anything but killing time before the bars opened. All in all, we hit 4 bars. Fresh Boys - there were about 25 boys there, mostly twinks, cute guys and mostly thin. The drinks were 350 baht each. Hot Male - there were about 20 boys there, mostly well built manly men. Drinks were 400 baht each. Dream Boys - there were about 30 boys there with a mix of twinks (few) and more well built boys. Drinks were 450 each. New Twilight - less boys for sure than the others but the place is beautiful and I'll go back just to support it. Drinks were 350 each. We had someone over for a drink and a nice chat. The waiters were friendly and several guys I know from years gone by were there. Common - Music too loud in EVERY bar. Hard to hear what anyone said to me. Result - met a guy from Grindr at end of the night and a boy from the soi near Tawan that was massage boy locally. Took both home for a massage and sex. The massage boy was a real treat and someone I'll see again. The Grindr lad was totally excellent with me but not so much with the other lad. Both tipped well and on their way home by 1AM. I'm old and it was a late night but with the liveliness of Soi 4 and the bars filling up, it is now time for all to stop putting off trips to Thailand. You will find what you want here. You may have to go to a few bars to get it, but you will find a bit of heaven if you look.

  19. I recently replaced my aging bread machine. It was about 15 years old. It still worked, but it was time for it to retire. I ended up giving it to my dog's trainer. I spent time researching the various machines. I decided on the Biolomix bread maker, one of the best ones out there. The price variations for it are hard to believe. I found the best deal for it on Shopee. I've seen it advertised for between 15000 to 34000 baht - for the exact same machine. Here is the one I bought from Shopee: https://shopee.co.th/product/445990429/17937240833 2680 baht for the very same machine! Incredible. I've been using it now for about two months and it works perfectly. And the instruction booklet that comes with it is entirely in English. I received it 2 days after placing my order. If you're looking for a bread machine in Thailand, this is my recommendation for the one to get. If you click on the link and scroll down you will find a comment posted on the Product Rating. Guess who wrote it - and I meant every word of it. Ever since buying it, the only time I ever buy bread anymore is if I want baguettes. I've tried several times to make baguettes myself, but they never come out right. Oh well, I can't compete with Julia Child. If you don't live in Thailand, shop around for it. There is no reason to pay tens of thousands of baht when you can find it at the same price I did. Believe me, it is the exact same machine.

Either go with and stick to prescribed scenario I.e. boy A fucks Boy B while you and boy C are in 69 position or whatever or alternatively , like in the movie scene you quoted in your post, go for complete "" see what happens " spontaneity. It,s important guys understand well what you expect from them

    Air Fares to Thailand 2022

I flew SQ on my last trip using the Frankfurt connection in the A380. Previously I took the non-stop in the A350. Both flights were in business and the only carrier I feel that comes close in service and reliability is ANA. The one thing you want to look out for is the connecting flight from Singapore to BKK. I found that it was less expensive to get the SQ connection and not the Scoot connection.

    Floods hit Bangkok

From The Guardian (Sept. 29, 2019) Thailand PM considers moving capital as Bangkok congestion takes toll Thailand could be the next nation in south-east Asia to relocate its capital after Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha hinted such a move could be a “possibility” under his government. Taking inspiration from neighbouring Myanmar and similar plans being formulated in Indonesia, the Thai prime minister suggested that relocating the capital could help Bangkok overcome its mounting urban challenges. Like Jakarta, Bangkok is beset by overcrowding, pollution, rising sea levels and heavy traffic congestion. During an address at the Connecting Thailand with the World Conference on 18 September, the retired army general floated two options for a potential move. “The first is to find a city that’s neither too far nor too expensive to move to,” he said, “The second is to move to outer Bangkok to reduce crowding.” It is not the first time the idea of moving Thailand’s administrative capital has been raised, with former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra also suggesting the administrative capital be moved to Nakhon Nayok, a province 100km from the capital. Studies have also been conducted on shifting government offices to Chachoengsao, an agricultural hub to the east of Bangkok. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/sep/30/thailand-pm-considers-moving-capital-as-bangkok-congestion-takes-toll

    Floods hit Bangkok

I'm sure that this is a difficult problem to solve given Bangkok's low-lying nature. After 2011 there was much talk about upgrading the drainage system. I don't know if that happened. There may also be issues of maintenance. And of course the constant building of new skyscrapers just adds to the complexities. Given climate change and rising sea levels Bangkok is going to be in difficult straits. Rather than planning for the future they just keep doing the same things over again. A new inland capital is probably going to be necessary. Think of all the potential for corruption that they're just passing up!

  28. This is the 3rd time this has happened in the last 25 years of coming to Pattaya but still it makes me angry. The other night I'm in a bar bought the boy a drink, sitting next to each other, the boy says hello to John or whatever his name was, john sees the boy with me but ignores me and sits on the other side of the boy. John completely oblivion to me starts chatting to the boy who turns his chair to John. Now john didn't bother to buy the boy a drink but obviously knew him as a customer I was going to say something to John but thought let it go This once before happened to me in about 2009 in Sunee Plaza which a farang butted in and bought the boy a drink whilst he already had one !! Just right in front of me got on the other side of the boy and bought him a drink !! Me sitting there looking a dummy ! , I then walked away leaving the boy and the Farang , later he went too and the boy came back to me in the bar ,I just paid the boy drink without tip and left too after that ! But guys !! Surely Surely you must SEE the boy is SITTING with another farang ???? Why would you do that ? Should I get into a physical fight with the interfering farang? Its just plain rude surely you are not that ignorant? Is it a power play ? Have to feel like your powerful ?

  30. Oy, sorry to hear that this happened to you. It is a good reminder to observe all of the recommended safety tips (which I mostly ignored) - don't carry a lot of cash, and keep a stash that you're willing to give up while keeping more hidden (like in your sock) - carry a cheap phone that you are willing to part with - don't stand out if at all possible (dress, actions, speaking English loudly, etc.) - don't fight with muggers - they will kill you I did not spend a lot of time walking around, mostly took Ubers or taxis and didn't go out at night. When I did go out, it was close to where I was staying, and the few times I went to meet guys at their places or motels, I only had enough cash on me to cover the costs. Thanks for sharing your experience - it's a cautionary tale. I'm glad you're ok.

    Marijuana (in Thailand)

Well, I was in my elevator today and I smelled weed. I continued to the first floor and the guy got out and went to the Grab taxi driver and got a bag. The bag had a smiley face on it and a weed symbol. I am not shy so I asked him and he said, "yes, they all deliver now to your door." I thought this might be a little hard to get but after talking to him and then asking others, it is just as easy here as ordering Pizza. I was shocked that a country that just recently incarcerated people for long times for this, is now so open and visible.

  34. If some random guy tried to move in on the boy I was with in a bar, I'd just politely say "Sorry, but the boy is with me." If I was sitting with a guy and I did not intend to off him I would let him know right from the start and say he was free to go if he thought he could get an off. Business is business. I've been in the situation when a guy I had offed a number of times over my holiday was sitting with another customer when I arrived at the bar. I met the boy outside when he went for a smoke and told him I would off him if the other guy had no intention of doing so. He returned to the customer and found out he was not going to get an off. I signalled to him to continue sitting with the customer and earn a tip and we'd get together after the customer had left. That way, we were all happy - smiles all around. Isn't that what it's all about? Although I have never been in the situation where a boy I was sitting with randomly got up and joined another customer, if that ever happened I wouldn't say anything. But I'd be reluctant to have anything to do with him next time I was in the bar.

    Interfering rude farang

In such a case I'd say, gnash your teeth and let it go instead of creating scene. We don,t know what boy,s intentions are and sometimes he may get directed by mamasan to sit with certain customer, usually well known for good business he is bringing in. Older readers of this forum may recall my story form old Tawan when guy with off and tip sealed told me exactly in the moment of paying off fee that he must go with another customer. I was left open mouthed gaping for an air. I still don,t know reason but I suspect managerial order. Anyways two years later I gave him 2nd chance and was mightily rewarded with what to this day I consider my best by far long time off ever. The same way we have our favorite guys, boys may have their favorite customers, unfair as it is, it,s just fact of life.

    Interfering rude farang

I find there are situations where I'm ok with it and when I'm not. In April I had all of the Winner Boys cast sitting with me at a table with drinks when @Vessey and his entourage arrived. Some of the boys excused themselves and went to join the other table, but came back occasionally to check-in. I was completely fine with that, sharing is caring. I've also been invited to join a table by another farang when he was in a similar position with a table full of boys and I was solo, I appreciated that so I wasn't sitting around waiting for him to leave. I actually became friends with him from that night. If I was one-on-one with a boy I plan to off, I'm ok with the boy going to say hello to a previous customer. If the customer 'did a John' and tried to sideline me from the boy/conversation, I would either leave or make my intentions known by calling the mamasan over and paying bin with the off fee then leave with the boy. There's no point getting upset or possessive over boys when you're surrounded by possibilities, mai pen lai.

  37. Nothing wrong with looking for leads and recommendations as long as we realize that people have different tastes and expectations . At times sincere praising a place or guy may lead to disappointments so it,s better to be bit specific. Without pointing at anybody , I would always recommend places with older ,better built guys which may serve some of us well but lead others to running from door screaming. I always give advice I believe in - go and check for yourself, you never know whom you meet. One,s treasure may be somebody else,s disaster and guy who gave us fantastic massage on Tuesday and Friday may turn to be slacking for one reason or another. The same goes with hotels , restaurants or even bus # 77 or getting to Bangkok from Pattaya.

She asked if I wanted him again, I said yes, paid his off and she told him to get dressed and come with me. I felt awkward for a moment, but reminded me of Filene's Basement (Boston reference, Reader will get) It's not yours until you've taken it to the check out...... These guys are there to make money, not sit and chit chat all night long not knowing if the customer will be a customer.....they prefer the sure thing over 100 Baht tip.

  40. Something similar happened to me a few nights ago, but it wasn't as serious as the OP's incident. It was resolved quickly and I didn't have to contemplate any further action. When I entered the gogo bar, there were only 3 other customers. Each had a boy sitting with him. With so few customers, it's easy to note who was with whom. All 3 customers were on one side of the bar but I chose to sit on the opposite side, facing them. I fancied a boy who was then on stage and signalled to him to come sit with me. That he did and we remained seated together for some 20 minutes before I needed to go pee. In those 20 minutes, we had some discussion about what he would or would not do in the room and his expected fee. I think my boy was pretty sure that we would soon be striking a deal, though I hadn't yet said so explicitly. Just before I went to the bathroom, I happened to notice one of the customers ("John" for now) releasing the boy who had been seated next to him. I couldn't tell if they had agreed on an off or not. When I got back from the bathroom, John was talking to the boy who was sitting with me. He had come over from the other side of the bar to do so. I took my seat wondering a little what a reasonable response from me should be. I don't want to use terms like 'proprietorial rights' but I felt that common courtesy and respect for others' spaces were being called into question. After all, I have been in situations myself where, walking into a bar, a boy recognized me and initiated a hello. My response would typically be to return the hello with a smile and little more, but also a smile and nod to whichever customer was then with him. And move away. In this case, john continued talking to the boy even after I took my seat, ignoring my presence. But the boy was smart enough to resolve the situation. He nudged himself closer to me and placed a hand on my thigh. Meanwhile, I looked straight at john. Don't know if one might call it a glare. He moved away and exited the bar. Obviously he had not offed the guy he had been sitting with. I asked my boy whether he had met john before. The boy said no. Five minutes later, I off'ed my guy and forgot about the incident until I read about your experience.

  42. Before I forget to mention, this trip I stayed at The Quarter Silom (rated #1 on TripAdvisor, very affordable at just 1400B/night, and just a stone's throw away from Tawan and New Twilight). My boy reunited from 3 years ago (let's name him A) was fascinated at this new hotel, he didn't even know it existed! Once we entered the room, he wasted no time in stripping me (he was already all touchy-feely in the elevator). Shower was tantalizing. Sex was passionate (even better than 3 years ago I would say). It was almost like he still remembered what I liked/disliked. He came before me, but I didn't wanna cum, as I already had during a massage that afternoon. So he chased me around the room like a horny predator with sly eyes, commanding playfully: "COME HERE." DAMN, that was quite a turn-on. (OK DON'T JUDGE.) After I eventually came, we cuddled naked for 30 mins, chatting about how the past 3 years have been. Apparently it was only his 5th day working at Dream Boys, as his previous employer Screw Boys is still closed. He had been working as a hairdresser in Chiang Mai for the past two years due to COVID. If I had visited Bangkok a week earlier, we would not have reunited (if this isn't fate, what is). So for the past 5 days, no customer had bought him drinks or off-ed him, as he is "not muscular like the other boys". "But you have big cock", I consoled him as I stroked it. OOPS, he was getting hard again, but I wasn't ready for another round. I dragged him to the shower. As we kissed and made out, he whispered: "Tomorrow you look for number XX, I tell him you are good customer." Oh, number XX. The tall cute Korean-looking boy from Dream Boys whom I jokingly mentioned. He remembered. I was actually kinda touched. I tipped him 3000B and reminded him to take a taxi home, as it was approaching 2am. He was genuinely surprised by the huge tip, but still insisted on taking a 50-min bus ride home. I walked him to the bus stop, he held my hand lovingly, with the gentle night breeze on our faces.

  45. K-Man Spa sent me loads of boys’ pictures over Line. I knew that they couldn’t possibly all be there and waiting for customers and that I was expected to pre-book. So I assiduously went through all the pictures and shortlisted four. I Lined back and asked which might be available at a certain time. It took no more than 10 minutes for the reply that one of them was, and so an appointment was fixed. Although I gave myself 45 minutes to get to Saphan Kwai BTS station, the BTS ride, including changing trains at Siam, took only about 20 minutes. Adding in walking time from Raya Hotel to Saladaeng station, it took me just 30 minutes at most. K-Man Spa was just down the stairs from Saphan Khwai at the southeast corner of the station; it took no time at all to get to its front door. The chosen – let’s call him Teyko – was waiting. After the brief protocols in the reception where the manager asked me to choose the aroma oil and where I was served some cold water, Teyko led me to the third floor (i.e. fourth level) where the room was. Based on a quick glance, they seem to have assigned the first floor as a waiting area for the boys, and the massage rooms are all on the second and third floors. Anyone with difficulty with steep stairs might want to think twice. The room had a massage table, with a perfectly serviceable face-cradle occluded by a bed sheet. This practice is so common in Thailand, I am no longer surprised. It didn’t come with an attached shower. This was down the hallway. Teyko commenced the massage in his towel – which wasn’t a good sign, but after about 15 minutes, it was dropped without any need for me to tug it away. He began with dry presses before proceeding to oil. He knew quite a few different strokes, which means he’s been through proper training, but his pressure was on the light side. It is not easy for masseurs to know how much pressure a client likes, and so it is important to tell him. Still, he had a tendency to revert to his usual, relatively light pressure a little while each time after I told him to increase it. Although I had booked a 90-minute, I was disappointed too with the coverage. In 60 minutes, I don’t expect the massage to cover much more than the basic areas: back of legs, back and shoulders. In 90 minutes, I’d expect attention to more areas as well, such as the arms, front of legs, and chest. Teyko didn’t seem to have a clearly defined programme that distinguished between 60 and 90 minutes. The afters were enjoyable enough though. He was easily hard. That said, I don’t think I am a demanding person and should be easy to please. At this point, some readers may be hoping for a blow by blow account, but sorry, it’s not my style to get to that level of detail. What I can say is that Teyko was an S2 according to ShamelessMack's "famous" classification system. To round off the session, he offered to shower with me - an offer gladly accepted. He was sweet and good-looking but unfortunately, he spoke next to no English and there is only that much one can do through Google Translate. So, much as I’d like to, I found out very little about him. In total, I spent about one hour 25 minutes there. K-Man Spa’s pricelist showed 60-minutes to be 500 baht for oil massage (550 for aroma massage) and 600 baht for 90-minutes. The manager mentioned something about a minimum tip of 1,000 baht. Their advertising mentioned something about promotions, but either I was outside the applicable time period or it was conveniently forgotten in my case. Overall – would I go back to K-Man Spa again? Yes. Would I choose Teyko again? I think so.

  46. I was back to Bangkok last night. Saw three Viet freelancers around 10 pm near the bus stop and in vicinity of Bangkok Christian Hospital (they were usually there much earlier). Also saw all three of them on Grindr. Speaking of twinks, I also saw a new(????, at least to me) Massage place named 9-teen Massage opened on Silom road (from Silom 6, turn right and walk a few meters). There were 4 masseurs sitting outside, all twinks from the look of it (although they all had their mask on so I couldn't be 100% sure). The place looks cozy, opening hours: 10 to 24.

  47. (part 10) As mentioned in part 9, a Thai boy who's working in X-boy asked me to take him to another bar to watch a show (X-boy itself has no longer offered any shows post-Covid). Since I like the boy and wanted to do something nice for him on my last day in Pattaya, I told him to go to Jomtien complex that night at 9pm and we would go watching a show together. I'd buy him drinks, pay his bar fine of 500, and also a short time fee of 1500. Then around 8pm, he messaged me with a reschedule request, saying something about having "other business". Looks like the dramatic "I was born to never watch a show" (his words via some awkward Google translation) wasn't that important. His last-minute cancellation means I scrambled to find a replacement. Then the next night, when I was in Bangkok already, he messaged me again, whining that he had no customer at all that night, not even a boy drink so he's broke. Turns out, on previous night, a customer to the bar bought him a drink so he cancelled me in hope of getting another off then going with me the next day. Too bad the customer didn't off him eventually and I wasn't available the day after either - a typical case of he who tries to have it all ends up with nothing. On my way back to Bangkok, the first thing I do was to contact Boy No 26 from Dream Boy (mentioned in part 8 ) for a repeat. Guess what, he was on his way to Pattaya. It was his birthday so his boyfriend took him to Pattaya to celebrate. Wait, his boyfriend??? Turns out the one I thought was his ex back in Chiang Mai is still with him. "So your boyfriend doesn't mind that you are working in Dream Boy?" "No, he's also working at the same bar." "His number was 24 right?" I jumped to a conclusion, remembering very well he picked boy No 24 when I asked him to choose a boy from the rotation. "No, No 99." "Aha! Then why you picked No 24 last time?" "Because my boyfriend didn't come to work that night." "So if I off both you and your boyfriend at the same time, would you mind?" I asked, again just testing how far they would go (he already showed me pictures of his boyfriend, not my type at all). His answer actually surprised me a little. "I don't like three people, but it's okay if the third person is my boyfriend" Well, well, well, it looks like if that night I actually offed No 24, No 26 wouldn't go with it. Also that's how you sell your boyfriend as an add-on Apart from Boy No 26 going where I just left, another unfortunate coincidence was that the Tiny Lao (mentioned in part 7) has gone home for about a month to be with his family and also renew his passport. The Hotmale downstairs didn't feel the same without him. I kinda miss his warm hug and gentle touch. This time in Bangkok, I finally paid a visit to Moonlight, the only go-go bar I haven't tried so far on this month-long trip. There were about 10 floor guys, most of whom are neither here nor there (not twink but not hunk either). I just read Numazu's latest report and am very curious about his MonBoy (the same way I'm about Vinapu's K - the nice single dad in Tawan), but can't recall anyone that impressive the night I visited. Then the pre-show model parade. At least three of them, Tum, Babe and Korn (and probably Smarch also) looked like they had their nose redone. Babe looked tired with under-eye circles clearly visible despite heavy makeup. His smiles were still very sweet though. Tum and York appeared to be following in Nicky's footsteps with flabbier arms and fat rippling around the belly area. I guess they are pushing 40 and at that age, working out alone would not suffice anymore. You need to watch what you eat and drink, and also the quality of your sleep, to minimize fat deposit. Korn was the only model who showed any form of 6 packs that night. Personally, I found the guys in Jupiter more "model-like" than those in Moonlight. Well-toned, flat stomach, lean but ripped body, nice height/size ratio. And for perspective, below is Jupiter's poster boy, who is over 30 but still can keep that Ms. Universe-like waistline to go with his well-developed chest and arms. (in real life, his waist looks even smaller and arms more muscular) There wasn't much going on in the tip department although the house was half-packed with mostly Asian customers. Before, it often looked like someone got tipped every few minutes or so in that bar, which made me think they probably used fake tips to get the ball rolling, especially when it comes to 1000-Baht garlands. Like if Day 1, models A and B get a garland, then Day 2, models C and D would get it, and so forth. Sometimes, model A gets 2 garlands on Day 1, or he gets another on Day 2. So my guess is that: the first one on Day 1 was staged by the bar. Any extra one on the same day or those on other days were actually from customers. What I saw this time seems to confirm my theory: very early in the parade one model got a garland (can't remember it was Nut or Smarch), presented by a Mamasan, who pointed vaguely at someone (could be anyone) in the audience. The same Mamasan then walked around the house, waving a bunch of garlands but there were no takers. So no one else got that 1000B tip, and throughout the show, only two or three models got tipped 100B with a nip of whisky. Finally, to answer @AlexThompson's question about Bangkok pre- vs. post-Covid, I would say cheaper accommodation, fewer tourists, more discounts at brand name shops, much less traffic at least at night (very easy to cross Suwarong road in the evening these days), more willing boys on apps (I met a few university graduates who haven't been able to find a job and who said they never thought they would sell themselves on app before Covid) - which I like. On the other hand, fewer gay bars, fewer options for traveling to Pattaya, and fewer street food stalls - which I don't like. One thing I certainly have problems with is the increasing number of straight MBs, who appear to use "being man" as an excuse for doing next to nothing in bed. I understand if they are unwilling about being f*ck, but no sucking and no kissing? in this kind of profession and for that kind of money? Some don't even perform the top role because they say they can't get hard for another man. Basically those would just lie there, being serviced and then getting paid handomely for "being a man"! Before Covid, I had heard about and also met many willing straight boys from Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar, who could do everything. Vietnamese boys were notorious exceptions. Now, it doesn't seem the case anymore, at least in those Bangkok and Pattaya go-go and host bars I visited. It looks like those straight boys, regardless of nationality, just copied each other by asking for more while doing less. Speaking of which, most Viet boys working in gay bars in Bangkok are straight and came from rural areas in central Vietnam (read: conservative and narrow-minded). So even when they are "reduced to" selling sex to men to earn a living, they still want to keep the illusion of "being a man with dignity and all" (I'm talking about this from the perspective of a Vietnamese). There is also peer pressure. Since they all got into this line of work through friends and acquaintances, they kinda know each other, forming a fairly close-knitted community with well-kept secrets (of course nobody in the village back home know what they are actually doing in Thailand). And in that small community, no one wants others to know that he can be anally f*cked by men. I've seen this in Vietnam too, many times. Some boys let me top them for more money, but made me promise I don't tell their MB peers about that. So if you really like a cute but unwilling boy, just try to get him into bed first. Then with patience, temptation of extra tip and the psychological power of situation, we and he himself would never know what he's capable of doing. Like that time a boy moved to French kiss me when he was about to cum, his first man-to-man kiss ever, as he later admitted, blushingly , and that he didn't think it could be so hot. Outside go-go bars, there are now quite a few Viet boys who work freelance on the app in Bangkok. They are mostly gay, from the south (read: more open- and business-minded), taking good care of their appearance, willing to do many things in bed sometimes for less (they still earn more than what they normally make at home though). I frequently ran into some of those southern boys in Silom road (their favorite spot is the the bus stop located between Patpong 1 and Silom Soi 6), who openly solicited in the street with "massage offers". Several Viet go-go boys when they learned that I'm from the north mentioned a boy from Hanoi who worked in Jupiter before Covid. That was the one who could do everything in bed, they told me. He went to gym, even got a facelift, and became very popular. After just a few years working in Bangkok, he already saved enough to buy a house back home. That's no small feat considering a small house in Hanoi could easily set you back more than a hundred thousand US dollars. So "Why don't you guys try to be like him?" I asked those boys, who were good-looking but admitted they have been able to save little or not at all from their work. Try to be more accommodating and get more customers, make a decent sum and then get the hell out of this line of work, go home open your own business and settle down (the last parts remain a life-long dream for many rural guys in Vietnam). But it looks like my advice always fell on deaf ears. Like that very cute Viet twink used to work in Lucky Boys I mentioned in a previous post. He got called from the stage by three different groups of customer, both Asians and farangs, in the span of a couple of hours I was there (and it wasn't even a busy night) but still no offs because later he told me, they all wanted him to bottom for them. He could have lost probably at least 300 potential customers per year (not to mention possible repeats) which translates into no less than 600K. Still, he couldn't care less about my math. While I was typing this part in the airport, Boy No 26 messaged me saying he just arrived in Bangkok. Are we star-crossed lovers or something? I jokingly asked if he's willing to do it in the airport. He replied with "555", so I said goodbye, hoping we'll have a chance to meet next time. Also told him if I ever see his boyfriend in Dream Boy, I'll tell the boyfriend he picked No 24 the last time. And with that little warning, I left Bangkok. (to be continued)

    Receipts

As I understand it, if I have this right, forum member S posted a trip report some weeks ago, including details about a service provided by advertiser G. Eventually member D backchatted with S to discuss the S-G transaction, seemingly innocent enough. [I have altered some cap letters in a way that does not undermine tracking the event sequence] D subsequently engaged with G, stating and using his social connection with S in order to extract service playbook details, etc, information-seeking that someone like G might have handled differently had D simply been one inquirer among a horde of inquirers to which those in G’s service industry would be ordinarily accustomed. But then D had evidently pushed so hard and so inappropriately for information, attention, what have you, from G that G took time from his service schedule to castigate S for putting D onto him. This inevitably eroded S’s social capital with G, perhaps extending beyond due to service network interactions. Meanwhile, it appears that D could, or expected to, walk away unscathed. In actuality, D could have reached out to any number of players in G’s service industry … without manipulatively prevailing upon any forum member for the purposes of seeking an ‘in’ with the hope/goal of enhanced attention from (a) specific service provider(s). S naturally and justifiably related this ugly experience on the forum, stimulating a discussion regarding how to handle sensitive information in the context of a forum in which some members’ behaviour and motives surrounding such information cannot be reliably predicted. It seems the plot then thickens as it appears that, not surprisingly, D quickly re-emerged as O. There may be other capital letters representative of players involved, given the flexibility within the forum for altering handles. However, S has only ever been S. S, and most of us in fact, view the prerogative of changing handles as legitimate. However, this happened very quickly, the incident funeral meats still lukewarm, and S perhaps still understandably wishing for, one, some kind of accounting from D/O+, and, two, desiring to alert other members regarding an established interloper’s pattern of ingratiating himself with others with the likely intent of repeating the kind of behaviour and trust-engendering that ultimately bit S in the ass. When S then initiated an exchange with O regarding an accounting of D’s behaviour that COULD be attributable to O, on the assumption D=O, it seems that O responded as if S was being inappropriately unwelcoming of new members, as if in fact S were being persecutory. This was puzzling and suspect because O could have carried on with his stated ‘new’ membership agenda without feeding the assumption he was, in fact, the original interloper D. His aim, apparently, was to split the forum membership into camps, hoping to conquer S, S being representative of decorum regarding how members handle information about service providers. S has naturally persisted in drawing attention to these dynamics because in addition to having been manipulated regarding the original G information scenario, he is reacting to apparent attempts made by the interloper to hoodwink him and the forum at large. I do believe that S may have cards yet to play, has alluded to such, and wishes to utilize his evidentiary data judiciously. At this point, an overt admission from O as to identity and troublemaking history is not required by SOME of us, according to our tolerance level for ambiguity. The membership IS divided, has capitulated to an interloper’s shenanigans, as some are blind to the unfortunate set of events, some may support D’s actions pursued with impunity because they have unique forbearance or would be inclined to replicate such behaviour themselves to a degree, or some may think S’s patient steadfastness is beyond the pale. The latest response trend seems to be that S bears more the brunt of responsibility for the spicy dynamics that have emerged regarding a theme that should be relevant to all us. Perhaps this is partly a result of the identity ambiguity already referred to. Sure, we all want more entertaining and salutary posts to read, but there is a process within social media that often calls for an accounting of behaviour. Personally, unlike a number of others, I don’t mind the back and forth among key players within this whole scenario. Like anyone else, I can calibrate my degree of attention to the narrative. If I have it wrong, if D=O is untrue, I see such a judgement as a natural artefact of human error. However, a ‘Hakim’s razor’ application to the thread content leads me to believe that S’s conclusions are supportable. He did something intending to be graciously accommodating and the cascade effect is a forum malignancy not of his making. I suggest pausing and taking stock of where most of the sucking up one side of the system and shitting down the other side of the system is actually occurring.

  49. Do not use Agoda to book The Agate. They charge £37 which is 1591 Baht. I have just booked a room direct with them by email for 1000 Baht per night. A big difference!
