  1. I decided to post here as this is my original thread. Hello everyone, I am back from my 11 day trip to Brazil. I feel sick, I threw up yesterday, I feel better now. On top of that I have a sore anus. Let me begin by saying, now I understand why everyone raves about Brazil here in the forum I am not much of a writer, so I will try to keep it brief but I do realize the benefits for sharing information especially for newbies like me. It helped a lot, So I really want to thank all the people who have shared knowledge about their Brazil trips. I did 5 nights in Sao Paulo and 6 nights in Rio. Solo Trip. I was super nervous, I have been to other countries but for some reason, Brazil was alway regarded as unsafe everywhere. Anyways lets get to the point. I want to let you know that this review is from a first time Brazil visitor and not a seasoned one. From Day 1-4 I went to Lagoa. My Oh my. It was delicious! haha. I know some people who have been to Brazil multiple times have mentioned that Lagoa is not the same anymore in terms of boys but for a first timer like me, it was amazing!! The only day it was kinda disappointing to me was Sunday at lagoa (I was there thu-sun) in terms of boys. I really liked the staff there too, very helpful. There was this one garoto whose name started with 'H' was such a sweetheart, he ended up becoming my regular. One thing to note, calling an uber To Lagoa is almost impossible. I had so many drivers cancel the ride. I think it is because of the confusing turn maybe. So what I used to do was call the uber to the market 'Remax' which was on the next street and stay in the market, until uber comes. Both the hotel people and lagoa people always told me to never take my cellphone out in public. On Monday day 5, I give myself some rest.Ooofff. A bottom needs to eat as well. Lowkey jealous of all the tops. I would do light breakfast, then douche after a couple of hours, have my fiber pills and have dinner after the sauna visit. On Day 6, Tuesday. I took the bus to Rio. It was through Flixbus. Really good bus but crappy wifi. After reaching Rio and freshen myself up. I was ready to go to 117 on their famous tuesday. Very nice front desk person, and he explained to me in english. I then made my way to explore the building. To my disappointment, it is such a run down, old looking building with mostly old looking rooms. But the selection of garotos was phenomenal there. Muscular!! A bottom's heaven...lol On Day 7, Wednesday. I went to 202. This was their free cabin day and it was packed!! I have never spent this much time at a sauna, but that includes the wait times for the room. The building is worse than 117 but the rooms are slightttllyy better. On Day 8, Thursday. I checked Meio Mundo but it was dead, probably on the wrong day. The guy was nice enough for me to check out the place before I pay. I went to 117 then. Following days I switched between 117 and 202. I don't know which one is Junior at 202 but the young guy on the front desk who is probably the son of the older finer gentleman is sooo cute. Other things to note: I did uber for everything as this was my first time. Maybe i was a little too cautious. I used Uber black. I used Airbnb experiences for touristy things I stayed at hotels in both SP (Ibis Styles Centro) & Rio (Royal Regency Palace Hotel). I did not intend to bring anyone to my room. I got a cheap alternate cellphone but I was not able to get a sim at GRU airport without a brazilian document, so I had to go to a mall and go to the vivo store to get the sim. They speak Portuguese but if you speak Spanish, you can get by for a short visit. Don't get me wrong when I say 'run down building'. I was expecting 117 and 202 to look like Thermas Barcelona & Lagoa. Having said that neither thermas bcn or lagoa are palaces but you would understand what I am talking about when comparing to 117 or 202. The boys charged $R 150 - 200. I did not negotiate. Brazil is a beautiful country, a must visit. As long as you are aware of your surroundings, you are good. I would love to go again! Don't let anything discourage you from visiting. Feel free to ask any questions!

  2. As widely reported, the head teacher of a Florida School has resigned after sixth-grade students were shown images of arguably one of the greatest statues ever created - that of Michelangelo's David in the Accademia in Florence. The students were being given a lesson on Renaissance art. A copy of the statue stands proudly for all to see, adults and children alike, in Florence's main square. All because one parent deemed the statue pornographic and two others felt they should have been told about the 'reveal' beforehand. All this for a figure who features prominently in the Bible which presumably all these holier-than-thou people worship weekly if not daily! What is this ridiculous world coming to - or more specifically all these utterly bigoted, stupid idiots? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-65071989

  4. Knowing the GOP, they will probably put up Majorie Taylor Greene if it aint Trump ? If they are so adamant about hanging onto that MAGA base, they'll give them the top of the shit pile......MTG..... The GOP shows no desire of expanding their base. They seem happy with the extremists, eventhough its proving to be a losing strategy for them. But if its Marjorie, and she LOSES, at least you know you'll get one Helluva Insurrection that will put Trumps 2020 one to shame.

  6. and thanks God Almighty for the underscored part , otherwise this forum will become non readable, if that's the word I'm sending my heartfelt congratulations to whoever understands post above and even more , to whoever understands why it was written. As for rejected visa I guess you must be American or Canadian and may not know how visa system works for either country for good reason you don't need visa. Sole decision of admission rests with immigration officer at point of entry thus somebody flying all the way from any country, citizens of which need the visa with said visa in the passport is not sure of admission until immigration officer in , usually airport , lets him in. Small but existing percentage is turned back , it's why return ticket may be required before boarding aircraft. For practical purpose as well as for religious reason I call it rejected visa and if you prefer to use other term , feel free as long as at least 23.15% of readers will understand what you mean. Hope it helped

  7. I visited SR for 10 days in February and this is a brief write up of my visit. I am going to be discreet but I am happy answer any specific questions about venues or activitiesā€¦..just drop me a message. I found vinapuā€™s previous account of his visit interesting and I did discover Hanuman beerā€¦excellent! I stayed at Menā€™s Resort. It was a real oasis in a busy city and excellent to return to after a busy day. The food was excellent as were the cocktails and were reasonably priced. The room was clean, cool and spacious and I would recommend this hotel. The only slight issue was the distance from the centre of town which did need a tuk tuk trip there and back unless you were going to arrive really sweaty. Tuk tuks plentiful outside the hotel and the price seemed to be $2 into Pub Street and $3 back. I did not sample the massages at the hotel but a friend who was staying had a number and said that there were excellent and enjoyable. I visited the spa in the hotel 3 times and each time was busy, especially on week ends and after 6.30/7pm. A real mix of locals who tended to outnumber the tourists. I found many local guys to be bottoms who wanted a European top guy so if youā€™re bottom, it can be a tad frustrating. Some beautiful men so if youā€™re a top, you will have a great time. I also visited Massage 168 and had arranged via email to meet a beautiful guy from the pics they had sent me. When I arrived on Sunday afternoon, the guy at reception said the guy I wanted to meet was unavailable as his grandmother was ill! There were two other massage guys there behind a curtain and I chose a muscular one for the massage. Massage was competent but it was obvious he was just going through the motions. I ended the massage early as there was no connection and did not return. I did not find the place particularly clean either and this was probably the least pleasurable experience I have had in Asia. I also visited Gecko massage near Pub Street and chose a muscular Cambodian guy for a massage. He was very willing and enthusiastic as well as being gorgeous and this resulted in a $30 tip. This was a far better experience than the one previously. In relation to the gay scene I went to 4 places. A new bar called Rendezvous Bar has opened and this was a fun bar to meet other gay travellers. The owner, Roland, was lovely and the drinks were great, especially the gin and tonics. Also, the Thai peanut mix was to die forā€¦I think Christian mentioned this previously on another postā€¦you have to go to taste this as well as viewing the gorgeous bar staff, especially Mao. I met some lovely fellow travellers there and would recommend this bar as an enjoyable stop off to chat and have fun. I went to the new Miss Wongā€™s cocktail bar which has moved from near Pub Street to the other side of the river. It is a beautiful old house setting and the cocktails were some of the best I had on my Asia visit. Not particularly a gay vibe, a bit formal cocktail loungy but hugely enjoyable none the less. I also visited a place the other side of the Night Market called Look@Me which seemed a bit run down, was small, on a noisy road and had no customers but this was early evening. I did not go in. Not for me. The place which was really fun was Barcode. I visited this years ago and it has got better. A great routine by the performers. When I visited three times, there was a mix of tourists and some Cambodians and the bar staff are really friendly especially some of the hot waiters. One of the muscular bar staff was so hot I and flirtatious and I wish I had followed vinapuā€™s tactic of tipping him $5! Maybe the next visit? The place which is not really on any guide but which was a real discovery was Home Cocktail Bar. I met an Australian guy who lives in SR for part of the year and he recommended this bar to meet gay Cambodians. It has great cocktails and food, is very reasonably priced and when I visited, packed with gay Cambodian guys who seemed to be interested in tourists. I spent three evenings there talking, flirting and getting to know some lovely local guys. Cocktails $1.50! A huge recommendation with the plus side that you get to meet locals. I found that locals are priced out of some of the other bars so this is the place to go! It was my favourite place in SR. I found that Blued was hopeless here and I had more success with Grindr with guys wanting to meet, invariably for payment. $30/40 seemed to be the going rate to meet and there are some beautiful guys in Siem Reap. When I got Tuk tuks back to Menā€™s at night a lot of the drivers seemed to know guys who would meet tourists for fun and some showed pictures. I did not take them up on their offers but they seemed genuine. All in all SR is a fun place to visit.

  9. I think it's hilarious ā€” but not at all surprising ā€” that you extrapolated from "Rio boys" (in the original conversation reported by andygchicago) to any and all "Brazilians." So whether you're talking about native language, race, or cultural identity, your assumption is still way off. You're evidently unaware that the word Latino has several interpretations. But that too is not at all surprising.

  11. I guess we all have lines we won't cross. Zoo Spa and Onsen (On Nut BTS) In my case, I felt like I had to return to Zoo Spa despite their high prices because I just had to meet "Phoenix". He's better looking in person and taller than I expected. I don't know why I just expect everyone to be short. There seems to have been a split between this branch and the new branch on the Thonburi side near Talat Phlu which is now called Z Spa. Who doesn't love some DRAMA?! So instead of sharing boys between the two they seem to have chosen their sides. One odd thing about this place is the constant changing of prices. I think maybe the boss is figuring out that his prices are too high. Last night it was "50% off". There's a new "package" called Cuteboy Package. I'm not sure how it's different from a regular massage. It's supposed to be a 90 minute body massage for 2500 (+ tip which is 1500). The massage as such was actually very good. Some parts were a bit repetitive but it was quite relaxing on the whole. Once I flipped over things progressed quickly. He wouldn't do a body to body massage but I found that being a bit more assertive about what I was looking for was beneficial. My ending was satisfactory. On the whole this place is still probably too expensive, but since I don't know when I am ever coming back here again I didn't feel bad about overspending to satisfy my curiosity.

  12. From Pattaya News The Phuket Immigration revealed to the Thai media that two foreigners received red cards and four foreigners received a yellow card this month, March 2023, so far. Phuket Immigration reported that there are in total 181 foreigners in the legal process of criminal cases. Most of them are Russian, French, British, Myanmar, and Cambodian. The most criminal cases are in Patong. Most cases are drunk driving, following by overstaying, illegally entering the kingdom, and working without a work permit. According to Phuket Immigration the system is indeed like a football game. Red cards in sports mean leaving a sport field but in terms of Immigration it means withdrawing oneā€™s visa and requiring the foreign national to immediately depart Thailand. The length of a ban for entry to Thailand under the red card rule varies based on the severity of the crime. However, many foreigners donā€™t know about Thai culture or Thai laws, Phuket Immigration noted. As a result, many foreigners claimed when arrested or told about penalties based on their behavior that they didnā€™t know the law or rules or claimed that nobody had clearly told them the laws or rules. Many claimed they saw other people do the same type of crime or rule violation and not get penalized and felt they could do so also or asked why others were not penalized and they were. Phuket Immigration has set up a measurement tool for the red card and yellow card system. For the first time one did something wrong, they gave them yellow cards for a warning and reported their behavior to consulates. If they did it again, they will receive red cards. Their visa will be withdrawn and will be deported as previously stated.

  15. You are not far from truth but still not there, did I ever report going out with katoeys ? No doubt they have pulse and cock, often very sizable. The same goes with 30+ board members I already met, no doubt they have both faculties but I control myself not to make any suggestion of more intimate meetings that bar hoping , gossip exchanging and dining together. I need to say that one of members who left us long ago, before covid, confessed once that , based on my posts , he had urge to kiss me but when we eventually met face to face that idea somehow left him. But obviously yes, I'm happy with overwhelming majority of boys I met, it may be owing to low expectancies as you suggest but also to distant possibility that I have good hand in picking up who shares contents of my wallet. Either way I can live with being happy.

    Brazilian Saunas

You are looking for the unicorn šŸ˜ Boys follow customers. Remember, they have to pay for their entrance too, so that is not going to happen to them to come to a sauna with too few customers more than once, except by mistake, a mistake they will unlikely repeat. If, on a particular month, the customers are less likely to come, fewer boys will come too, to match the demand.

  19. Since I tend to do a lot of massages when I'm here I figured maybe it makes sense to put my impressions in one thread. I already mentioned my experience at Zoo Spa and Onsen in that dedicated thread, so I won't rehash it here. Prime Massage, Silom Soi 6. Yesterday I visited Prime in Silom Soi 6. Obviously this place is a huge massage factory. My back and neck were giving me some trouble so I thought a real, legit massage was in order. I did a 90 min oil massage. I liked the orange scented oil. No choice of masseurs but I didn't really care. The young woman at the desk took my 700 baht and had me take a seat briefly. Then I was led across the soi to the annex building. Showered down the hall. The sign in the shower about the 20000 baht fine if you poop in the shower gave me some pause. I presume that means it's actually happened in the past. Back to the room and onto the table. The table had a face cut out but was nearly as uncomfortable as a bed without it. The masseur used VERY hard pressure. Ultimately I had to cry out when he did that thing that too many masseurs do of pinching the muscle on the inside of the thigh. It hurts like hell and I had to tell him not to do that. I might have been a little loud in my protest. But he did ease up. Overall the massage was very thorough if totally legit with absolutely no hanky panky suggested or necessary. It was a bit painful though and too rough for me. I actually would have appreciated some slow stretching but his movements were too abrupt. I tipped 500 (I was pointed to the policy of 100 minimum at the cashier desk) because I thought it was fair, not because I was totally happy with the experience. 15M Massage (Saphan Kwai BTS) Today it was off to a part of the city I don't think I've ever visited before. 15M Massage is about a 30 second walk from the Saphan Kwai BTS (exit 3). So it's quite convenient. I booked Noom in advance (photo below). He looks almost nothing like this photo. So much so that I questioned to myself whether it was the same guy. His hair is no longer blond. But the tattoo matches up and so do the earrings. He's also a bit more muscular than in this photo. Booking via Line was easy. They also have a Twitter account (https://twitter.com/boybk12345) Mostly straight guys. Many quite handsome. And they are teamed up with the nearby 27M Massage. But since this location is so easy to get to I chose it. I arrived a few minutes early and Noom was already there as well. I asked for the 90 minute "aroma" massage which is my basic go-to option. I paid the 550 baht to the handsome boy at the cashier station and was led up one level. Room was very basic with a just a thin mattress on the floor. I was pointed to the shower up a further flight of stairs. Once back in the room Noom was already undressed and ready to go. The "massage" was basically terrible. I suspect there is no training for these guys and anyway no one is going there for a proper massage. It was just a mindless rub spending an inordinate amount of time on one leg, then the other before eventually progressing to a back rub. It was not especially erotic or relaxing - just kind of mechanical. After a while I was mercifully invited to flip over. The AC was a bit too cold and my efforts to communicate that were unsuccessful. Either my Thai is really terrible (likely) or he just didn't understand me or my pantomime of being cold. His phone dinged constantly with Line messages. Obviously the polite thing to do is silence your notifications in such a situation. He did offer to fuck me, but that's not my thing. So we moved on to other things that I do enjoy. I will say he was impressively hard with very little input needed. After a while the lights were flickered which I presume was meant as a signal to wrap up. Once we did finish I noted that barely an hour had passed. So, my 90 minute session was not what I go. But frankly I was fine with that. A satisfactory ending was achieved but on the whole not the greatest experience ever. Noom left me to shower alone as did he. We could have conserved some water, but that's not the way it worked out. They do have a couple of gay guys on staff so that might be a better option unless you just want a straight guy to fuck you. I did note several cute boys on my way out. If I'd had a better experience I would be more inclined to return.

    Siem reap - 168 Massage

Planned this short trip to Siem reap n Bangkok a month before. I ventured out in SR because of Vinapu and his detailed report about his Cambodia trip. He also helped me with the location details of 168 massage. Thanks@Vinapu. I went on monday around 4pm. Place is exactly opposite Glow inn Siem reap hotel. In google maps 360 view, you will see that as Blue hatha spa. Below is the current photo of this location. Black signage shows the spa name which is hardly readable šŸ§ Now about the actual experiance. At the time i went there were only 2 boyz available. Both were in their early twenties, Tbh i didnt like either as I m more into hunky men. First i thoght to step out, but changed my mind n chose the one with moustache. He took me to a massage room which was dark, had a mattress on the floor. Not very pleasant room i must say. Had attached shower n toilet. Though it was clean n bright, flush didnt work and shower had cold water šŸ¤Ø (Btw Boy was unable to speak english, so communication was a big issue.) He started massage with his clothes on. It was massage without using oil (Khmer massage is without using oil). It was less on massage strokes n more of pressing the body. After around 20 minutes i got bored as it was very monotonous, so asked him to stop and asked shamelessly if he has "anything special" to offer. (Cambodian Gay massage term i learned from Vinapu's report? šŸ¤”) To which he somehow communicated that he can only give handjob but can not blow. Guy was a complete dud! Very unwilling to even give a good handjob. So that was a packup in next 10 Minutes. Paid $10 at the reception and $20 to boy which was not at all worth. (As they had no massage menu, before going for massage; i asked the reception guy about the tip and he said its $20) So this was my first day experiance at 168. Second day i thought to try Gecko massage..Details i ll write soon.

  21. There is interesting polling data in this article taken from county-level GOP chairs. It sounds in the ballpark of what I would expect. Other than poor Chris Christie, the candidate that county chairs are most likely to say they DO NOT want is Donald Trump. 39 % say they don't want Trump. That said, 43 % of local chairs say they would consider Trump. 43 % is enough to win Trump the nomination in winner take all Republican primaries, just like in 2016. Trump's game is to make his base feel like the humans in The Last Of Us. Everybody not with us is like fungi out to get us. America is not a shining city on a hill. It is infected. It needs cleansing and retribution for all the fuckers who fucked us up. (Again, don't get me started on The Gays.) DeSantis is the candidate that the most county chairs would consider (73 %). In fact, he is the ONLY Republican that way more than half of Republican county chairs would consider. So the question is whether he can turn that into a 50 % or so majority in a Republican primary. And how much of the "you're infected, asshole" rhetoric and tone he has to deploy to do so. But I agree with Sis @Suckrates. Ron kind of makes me feel like The Gays are part of the infection that needs to be cleansed. Nikki Haley comes in third after DeSantis and Trump, at 36 %, as someone local GOP chairs would consider. 26 % say they would not consider her. I think her problem is that the 43 % that are for Trump include a lot of people who are rabidly for Trump. I'm not sure how many people are rabidly for Nikki Haley. I've got a hard on for Tim Scott. I think he is for sure the most interesting Republican (other than Don and Ron) to watch. And it shows up in the polling. He's number four on the list of candidates local chairs would consider, at 26 %. So he has the same problem as Haley. Like her, he polls in a low single digit. Because almost nobody is rabidly for him. What's more interesting to me is that, other than Top Guv Ron, Scott is the candidate that is likely most unifying. Only 16 % of Republican chairs say they would NOT consider Scott in 2024, as opposed to 9 % for DeSantis and 39 % for Trump. That said, I had a hard on for John Kasich in 2016, and look where that got him. I recall a dinner in Summer 2016 with two Republican friends where we all agreed that things would be so much better if the GOP had nominated Kasich. The two Republicans presumed that Kasich could beat Hillary. Whereas it looked then like Trump would be a disaster in Fall 2016. My presumption as a Democrat was that either Kasich or Clinton would have made decent Presidents, unlike Trump. It's all been more and more Freak Show since then. And so far the MAGA message, such as it is, kind of just keeps getting worse. So with Trump, we have the narrative that McConnell and Biden are the uniparty hacks destroying America. With Trump the only leader that can win retribution for real Americans. Can't blame the MAGA folks for not getting tired of winning, right? šŸ¤« And here's the Tim Scott narrative: I think that does set Scott apart from any other Republican candidate, including Haley. If there is a sunny Reaganite Main Street capitalist running, Tim Scott is it. Right now, that gets you about 1 % of the vote in a Republican primary. Ouch! There's at least two theories I have about Scott. One is that he is running for Veep. The Divine Miss Graham, who is back to whoring for Trump, is pushing the idea of Trump/Scott. I hope Miss Graham is once again tone deaf. It would be the end of Tim Scott as a viable national candidate. I suspect he knows that. His message pretty much screams, "I'm not Trump. I'm not running to tell you that America is fucked up." My other theory, which I hope is true, is that Scott is actually running for President in 2028. Obama's guru David Plouffe argued back around 2018 that it would take four election cycles, not four years, to defeat Trumpism. I took that to mean 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024. Let's throw in 2026 just to be safe. That would suggest that if Trump leads Republicans to defeat yet again, by 2028 Republicans might actually be ready for something different. Another Obama guru, David Axelrod, argued something else that makes sense in this context. He said he felt dumb for missing it in 2016. He said, in retrospect, Americans often elect a President that is the opposite of what they've currently got. He said he knew that, and used it, in 2008 to make Obama look like the opposite of W. But he was too close to it to see that, in 2016, Trump was the opposite of Obama. The question is whether Republican primary voters in 2028 will want the opposite of Donald Trump. I think Tim Scott is gambling that they will. If so, I hope he is right.

  22. Nikki Haley is a strong candidate if Trump does not get the ticket. She, IMHO, would be the closest to beating Biden if Trump is not the nominee. I still think Trump will be the nominee if he wants it.

He has shown himself NOT to be a man of ALL people, and those of us being overlooked or attacked by his legislation just DONT like it. Not at all...... He has the potential to be more dangerous than Trump, and have a longer life span. And White high go-go boots only look good with mini-skirts, not wit Dad-jeans.... The man has no style !

  28. As a frequent traveller to Egypt (specifically: Cairo) I must say that I donā€™t recognise the transactional nature of a lot of the posts here. I never pay for sex; I do not approve of prostitution. If a guy is doing the deed with me, I want him to be doing so because he fancies me, not because of the contents of my wallet. I travel to Cairo frequently for business and pleasure, and I have made many friends there. Most of them I met through apps, specifically, Grindr and Growlr. You can spot the fakes and theyā€™re easy to ignore, but I have met some genuinely nice guys who remain friends. Turning on Grindr in Cairo is very good for oneā€™s ego, if I turn it on, within five minutes I will have 300 messages. I exaggerate not. A lot of them are openly ā€œcash topā€; welcome to my blocked.list is my standard reply. Cairo is a bottomā€™s paradise: tops are both plentiful and hung. itā€™s never been a problem entertaining in my hotel room. I have only once been approached by hotel staff as described in some of the posts, but Iā€™ve never done anything with them. I have also been cruised in the streets, and riding the Metro in shorts on a crowded train was very much a mistake. I would say wearing shorts In Cairo is an easy way to get picked up, because no locals wear shorts, so it makes you stand out. I once had a couple of Saudi guys feel me up in a lift in the Intercontinental Hotel, when I was wearing shorts. I donā€™t think each knew what the other was doing. The hottest incident was being picked up by a policeman in uniform at the Marriot in Zamalek. He was middle-aged, I guess mid 40s, and was in uniform, and I think a senior officer given the pips on his epaulettes. He was sitting at a table adjacent to me. We started talking, and over time as we were chatting, I could see that he had an huge erection in his trousers. Eventually he asked if my room had a nice view of the Nile, which I replied it did, so he asked if you could see it, adding that he had never been in any of the rooms. Of course I took him up, and, well, you can fill in the blanks. It was wild.

  29. Well, travel has simply returned to normal. Unless NBC News is lying, the State Department cut their workforce by half. That's going to hurt. Of course, aren't passport fees supposed to be going to pay for these salaries?

  30. You completely didn't understand what I am trying to say.I didn't say regular jobs gives better salaries than what can get be earn as money boy ,what I meant is that the big improvement of the Thai economy opened better education and more jobs opportunities to the younger generation so less Thais are willing to sell their bodies for money.

  31. Not exactly. The expected tip for massage with happy ending in Cambodia is 20 USD, about 700 THB. That's about the same I pay in Thailand, but you have to consider that Cambodia is much poorer, so the buying power is higher. I would find 10 USD appropriate. In Pattaya, I tip boys from bars and online 1000, and massage with happy ending 800. Every one of them is eager to meet me again. The lower tip for massage with happy ending is justified by restriction in space and time and not the comfort of my room. I just don't to places that charge more. Most of my activity is online anyway. 12is12, have a look at the online dating forum on sawatdeenetwork (members only), and share a few reviews of your own. Overlap in subject with I have met hundreds of boys, and talked about some of them with Farang friends who have met them as well, and think some of their behavior can be generalized. I think poor behavior is more consistent then good behavior. I do not hesitate to recommend or advise against certain boys, see my posts on sawatdeenetwork. I would post more (with pictures, names, place of work, activities, tip) if others did the same.

  33. Met some Brazlians when I was in Zurich recently. Both were from Sao Paulo. They said the crime is about as common there as in Rio, but it can skew more violent. They also said that the boys in Sao Paulo are far more racially diverse, while the Rio guys tend to all be Black Latinos. Has this been everyoneā€™s experience? Was afraid to book to Sao Paulo due to the crime, but the idea of a racially diverse buffet is really tempting

  34. Then his statement was an irrelevant/non-responsive post. The question is whether or not the two have legally married. I pointed out that marriages are a matter of public record. Marc pointed out that in California (and, as it turns out, only in California) there is such a thing as "confidential marriages," of which I was not aware. Apparently, this quirk in the law, which dates to the 19th century, is unique in California. Since these two live in California, therefore, I was wrong about the marriage being a matter of public record, if it was performed as a confidential marriage. One learns something new every day. California is an exception (if the spouses want to make the effort) to the rule of all marriages being public: https://www.zocalopublicsquare.org/2013/06/19/go-ahead-keep-your-marriage-secret/ideas/connecting-california/ "Iā€™m going to let you in on confidential marriage, an only-in-California concoction that is little known but deeply relevant to todayā€™s debates about marriage. Confidential marriage is in most respects the same as any old legal marriageā€”solemnized and binding. But confidential marriage licenses, unlike regular marriage licenses, are not part of the public record. And confidential marriage is limited to couples who are already living together...". I've lived just about my entire life in California and never heard about this, nor have I known anyone to get a confidential marriage. That being said, it is out there--presumably for big-name celebrities to keep things secret.

  36. Yet you obviously attended to it in spite of implicit disinclination and couldnā€™t rule out its merit seeing as it exceeded your attention span. You needed to see if interaction between two others required your two cents, dollars to donuts you went over the content far more than I intended or required. I critiqued anotherā€™s capacity to stick an amusing zinger, the question of humour the springboard for your gratuitous response. What does post length have to do with bot-centric trends? Try more coherence, tracking of forum content, less desperation to make an early mark. I wasnā€™t trying to be funny when pointing out a sad phenomenon within a minor yet toxic representation of gay travel forum posters. You merely exemplified the legitimacy of my observation, a perception not tangential to any topic as itā€™s an overarching thematic thread running through any forum. I merely plunked in a photo of a travel guide that I deem useful, as others might. Two brief sentences. Like itā€™s Friday and somebody brought in coffee cake. Topics go off in multiple directions. That is the inherent nature of social media, along with the usual expected array of DunningKruger-afflicted trolls on standby. I find the dynamics interesting and I donā€™t mind taking a few minutes here and there to comment. You donā€™t like what or how I write? Bots have advanced to corollary images ā€¦

  37. Last prices I have heard from staff in Bangkok gogo bars before Covid was more often 2000 than 1500 for short time. That's why I take all my business to Pattaya (1000 short time in Sunee or online, everyone eager to go with me again) or online (in Bangkok 1000, those who want more, good luck with someone else). For massage with happy ending (handjob or blowjob) I pay 800 in Bangkok, that means I don't go to Silom (where prices are higher and it's a matter of luck if there is a happy ending, and price and activities have to be negotiated), but to Saphan Khwai and Inthamara.

  38. Thank you for your report I just commented in another thread that at end of Oct I had nightly fun there and now wonder if place lost it's luster or simply I'm lest demanding. Bet bet I guess will be to pack and go again. Glad to learn my report was useful, even as we see above , steering into bit doubtful places. On another hand I visited 168 always at dark, like 8 pm and wonder it selction later would be bit better. In fact your picture made me realizing I never went to that street in daylight

  39. The rate at Juan Binbin is 3,000 pesos. No discounts offered. Juan claims that this has been the rate for years; Idk. So it appears that you havenā€™t been overcharged. But to put it into perspective most guys in the apps will happily accept 1,500; hustlers from El Conde even less. The well build/gym fit, popular or experienced guys, e.g. at Marlowā€™s will be able to command 2-2,500. Of course, the guys will ask for more initially so keep your wits about you when negotiating prices. Above is for a quick/ maximum 1 hour session. You suck and be fucked (condon or no condon), no kissing or touching your genitals involved. Forget about them btm for you.

  41. These topics are discussed at length so I encourage you to do a more diligent search of the posts. Before you do, however, ask yourself whether you're paying more for air fare than you have in the past and how much more you're paying for food and accommodations in your home country. These expenses have also risen in SE Asia so don't be surprised if tip expectations have likewise risen.

  42. now you know why I try to keep all those papasans / mamasans at distance and only allow them to interfere when I need transation. Waiter had no option other than refuse your offer since if he accepted it , papasan would be losing face. I wonder how much of that 3000 had you accepted would go to papasan. My educated guess is 1000. 2000 for short time in Pattaya is still very generous so I'm glad you did not accept that extortionate offer.

  43. I think most would suggest Freshboys for a bar experience. Would also consider massage shops that have been posted about here. The location some members have recommended for a very good chance of finding the guy your looking for would be K-Man Spa adjacent to Saphan Kwai BTS stop. But you don't have to get on a train. If you're not shy, just walk by shops in Silom-Surawong. If you spot a guy outside a shop who makes eye contact and smiles, start a conversation (use Google Translate if necessary) and see where it goes. Even if he doesn't fit the bill, others may step forward or he may recommend a friend. Use the search function for terms like "trip report" and massage shops".

  44. Part 10: Last evening in Bangkok (for now...) Yesterday was my last evening in Bangkok. I will go travels around Thailand now for a few week (up north, Pattaya, Phuket...) and will be back on Bangkok on September 23 for 5 more night before I fly home. The evening didn't start well... It was raining hard, the roads flooded. And the hourly forecast didn't look good either. But after about 1hr the rain stopped and it was "safe" to head out to the bars. I had some unfinished business to take care of before leaving Bangkok tomorrow... First of all there is the guy on Grindr who is for days already stalking me. He works in Freshboys. Don't wanna just ignore or block him because I want to be able to go to Freshboys again without "losing face". He looks nice and sweet, not sure if he will be my type in real life. So didn't want to invite him to my room without seeing him in the bar first. But he kept trying. Even on his day off. Decided to go for a drink in Freshboys first and buying the boy a drink too. So at least I've shown him my good heart. Lol Gave him besides a drink an extra 100 baht bill and told him I had to leave to Tawan because I needed to show my friend that place. Which was actually true as I met up with another solo traveler and we agreed to go to Freshboys en Tawan together that night. Because of the rain, the steps at Freshboys was wet and slippery. The guy I was with slipped and felt down, taking me with him in his fall as I was walking in front of him. I had a soft landing, on top of him. He took a harder hit on the concrete stairs. But was also fine. Thank god. He was even laughing saying that cracked his back without having to pay for a massage... But let this be a warning whenever around in rain: stairs can be slippery! We arrived at Tawan around 11pm. The show didn't start yet. When we looked around we found out why: we were the only customers... All the rest (around 20 boys again, same like the day before) were Tawan staff. We had our drinks, talked to the (I suppose) manager and I off course invited 6pack guy (see report part 8 in this post about one day earlier in Tawan) to come and sit with me. "I take care of you tonight?" he asked. Oh yes you can! Understandable, with no other customers in the bar, Tawan decided not to have a show that night. I was entertained by 6pack guy who took my hands and placed them all over his muscles body so I could feel everything... He was placing his own hand on my shorts while feeling what was hidden inside... This is even better than the show. Lol No show this night, only guys doing some posing on stage like in this picture from Tawan twitter account. In the meantime I had some conversation with the guy I was with. He decided to move on to soi 4 to see if, despite the heavy rain earlier, things were happening there. And I took 6pack guy back to Tarntawan. 2500 for the boy, 500 for the bar. More expensive than the average off fee in the boybars. But I wanted to have a Tawan expierence... And it turned out better than expected. One day earlier when I also was in Tawan, 6pack guy already told me "everything" is possible, except that he doesn't want to get fucked. He spoke good English so I had no reason to think things went lost in translation. Possibilities from his side and expectations from mine were clear. He had to leave his id card at reception of the hotel. In my room the muscle worshipping that started in the bar continued. And as promised he kissed, sucked my dick... And even more: he licked my balls and ass. Was very nice to feel his tongue go there... After this all came to a (my) climax, 6pack guy gave me a short mini massage. I felt his strong hands over my body and feet. After 6pack guy left, hotel reception called me to check everything was oke before they gave his id card back. To be honest, I didn't expect much from a Tawan guy. I was thinking maximum you could get was touching his muscles and sucking HIS cock. The expierence I had with 6pack guy was so much better than that...! Let's see what adventures the rest of Thailand will have for me in the next weeks...

  45. They may not be numerous but there are. In Pattaya, the cabaret shows at The Venue and Castro draw decent crowds. The difference is that these bars position themselves as showbars and the clients go there wanting/ expecting that. I think their prices are also much lower than the boyticeria prices ( haven't been in lately) so they achieve a high-ish level of customer satisfaction. The boyticeria, on the other hand, charge customers for their shows when customers are looking for sex and do not care much for their shows. It's like @Gaybutton's example of some hotels making all their guests pay for Christmas dinner whether they wish to participate or not. And as @emiel1981 reported above, even if the show price is jusifiably built into the first drink, why is it also in the second drink?

  46. some of rooms there have kind of thick glass panels , not really window but still letting in some daylight. I actually liked their well organized rooms with ample desk/ table space running width of the whole room. Some of cheap hotel have their use for me when arriving late or departing late evening / early in the morning. Paying full rate for very reduced room use doesn't make any sense for me so if my flights land say at 3 am or depart at midnight I book for first and last night or two room in one of those cheapies. this way even for half day I still have bed and shower. For me best options in Silom area are Raya, Baan Silom soi 3 and Furama Xclusive Sathorn. I did not try yet new arrivals 56 Suriwong and Ibis Silom. Quarter Silom is excellent but rooms too small for a price so I rather walk to bars from more roomy places

  47. That was true in July too. Credit to Hotmale. If only more bars followed that example. By the way, did you pay 350 baht or 400 baht for your first drink there? They certainly have, but the role of shows in the bars' business model has changed to dominate the business objective. This makes the boy hunter feel neglected. His interests are not well served. But first, we need to distinguish three types of shows: They are (a) live porn, (b) fancy dancing by boys (or, more often than not, hopelessly amateurish attempts at fancy dancing), and (c) fake singing by fake women (I think someone will rap me for being politically incorrect). Live porn and some degree of fancy dancing goes well with a boyticeria; it complements the business well, since it interests the same kind of customer, heightens the erotic quotient in the bar and lengthens the time he stays in the bar. Fancy dancing should not dominate the show programme otherwise the programme starts to slip into non-erotic mode. Fake singing by fake women is actually counter-productive for boyticerias. Customers aren't in the bars to watch women, real of fake, why waste their time demanding that they watch? The ladyboys tend to be overdressed and the performances are more like cabaret. The nett effect is to lower the erotic quotient, replacing it with bright lights, voluminous costumes and deafening volume. My memory from the days of Twilight and Barbiery in the 1990s was that live porn dominated their show programmes. There were some numbers by fake women, but not enough to seriously alter the tone of the bar. Then Extreme Bar came along (Soi Twilight, early 2000s?) and they introduced fancy dancing. They did not flash anything from under the belt in the entire programme and within a couple of years, the bar went out of business. But the damage was done. The other bars began to "improve" their shows. More fancy dancing, usually with real dancers brought in for the evening to do 2 or 3 numbers (nowadays we still see that in the "B-Boys" break dance numbers), and when bars needed to fill an hour-long programme, more diva items were added. Then, from 2005, Thailand saw huge increases in visitors from Asian countries and Russia. What happened next to the business model of the bars and to pricing is described in my latest post 15 years of price rises. These new visitors to Thailand, while middle-class enough to travel, weren't big spenders like Westerners. Offing boys might have been too costly for most of them. In any case, as I wrote: 6 - 7 years later, these Asian tourists were no longer surging into the Soi Twilight bars. My blogpost tries to explain why. But more damage had been done. Firstly, the shows had been bulked up; they were now too long in duration and too heavy with gatoeys (ladyboys) and secondly, drink prices had gone up to levels that were off-putting for customers who were primarily interested in the available boys and booking one of them out. Worse, as @emiel1981 also noticed, the book-able boys are mostly hidden away during the show. In short: Shows in the form of short bursts of live porn add value to the bars businesses; shows in the form of hour-long wanna-be cabaret subtract value.

  48. Part 3: ā€œMassage? Massage sir? Massage? Special massage?ā€ A familiar sound walking in Silom today. Boys outside massage shops saying "Massage? Massage sir? Massage? Special massage? ā€œā€¦ I must say it's much less places in Silom where you get this questions while walking the streets then before covid. But still... On Surawong Road between the Tawan soi and Patpong there are a few (mixed staff) massage shops with male crew trying to talk you in. And also when you walk from Tawan to Silom Road, on the second part, this still happens. One of the massage shops with mixed staff on Surawong Road It was only a few times in all those years I came to Bangkok that I went for a massage in an actual shop. I did go a few times for massages when I was in the now closed Babylon Sauna. I liked that place. It looked modern and clean. Nice dark steam rooms where it was always exciting to make your way through it while touching and feeling around youā€¦ But somehow in Babylon I always had the feeling that it was more about cruising around, watching and waiting for somebody better or hotter to pass by. There was not that much real action going on. Or it was just me. Maybe I was too shy and never took enough initiative. I must say I think its a shame Babylon is closed. Used to like going there. Anyhow; back to the passage part: I liked it how there was a sign in the room in Babylon where you could book your massage saying ā€œno happy endā€. While everybody will know that actually happy end was always possible with their massage boys. I was lucky they always put me in a ā€œmore privateā€ part of the massage floor. As I did see that there where also massage tables in places where others could see what was happening when they passed by. Most of the times I wanted a massage in Bangkok, I would go on Grindr and invite one of the many boys offering massages to my hotel room. Sometimes a miss, but most of the times it worked out very well. On my last trip I was in Bangkok twice, as I most of the times did and also this year plan to do. I start my holiday in Bangkok, will travel around and will stay in Bangkok again on my last days. I remember I had the same massage boy coming to my room in the beginning and end of my holiday, as I liked his ā€œservicesā€ very much. I found out I still had his number in my phone. Would he still be ā€œin businessā€ Decided to send him a message on WhatsApp. It must have been a sign from above or something that put paths had to cross again, because before he had actually read my massage on whatsapp he found me on grindr and messaged me also. Of course this is not how he sent me his picture. For privacy reasons I've put that smiley there... Anyhow. Arrangements were made quickly. And a few hours later he was in Le MĆ©ridien in my room. His price went from 1800 baht before covid to 2000 now. But I found this an acceptable raise given his trackrecord. Massage again was good but relaxing. And also enjoying his sexy body and good sex afterwards was how I remembered it. He's a good bottom that does the exact right amount of moaning while fucking him in different positions. Not too quiet but also not too much and loud like in some porn movies. When guys do that I always think they fake it. Originally he's from the Philippines. Speaks perfect English. Because he couldn't find enough customers anymore during the pandamic to finance his art school, he had to stop studying and is now working in an boring office. He also didn't have the money to go back to his family in the Philippines. He's hoping that in time more tourists like us will find their way back to Bangkok so he can get more customers again and finish his study. After we said goodbye I went for a swim in the hotel pool and some relaxing, reading and writing this report. Wondering what the evening will bring today...
