  8. From Thailand News Agency BANGKOK, March 27 – The Royal Thai Police has developed a mobile application called “Tourist Police i lert u” for foreign visitors to Thailand to be able to seek help from the police in cases of emergency. application is operated with the Global positioning System (GPS), and can be downloaded free of charge from both iOS and android systems, said Deputy Government Spokesperson Ratchada Thanadirek. Once downloaded, tourists may click “Request” to seek help, and send information and photos at the scene of accident to the War Room (1155 tourist police Hotline), which has officers on stand-by around the clock. The information will, then, be forwarded to local police nearby to provide immediate help. In the meantime, the police will call back to the registered phone number to provide initial help and advice. Languages available for communication with the tourist police are: English, Chinese, Russian, Korean, French, German, ASEAN and Arabic. (TNA) ==================

  11. You will no doubt have noted that the source I quoted was from the BBC website. Never infalllible, it is in most cases usually pretty accurate. As it stated - "A principal of a Florida school has been forced to resign after a parent complained that sixth-grade students were exposed to pornography." And if you check the internet, this is the reason given on most sites. I did indeed look before I took the leap! Further, the "other side of the indcident" that you suggest, is for exactly the same "faults". It remains a ridiculous and pathetic joke. If serious art is to be considered pornography, then much of our history can only be regarded as truly decadent. WHat's next? Block out the tits of women in art because they should not be shown to children? Odd that since most kids spent much of their first year or so sucking from them! This from The Insider – "Bishop told the paper that the school had "several issues" with Carrasquilla in the past, including that she did not notify parents that their children would be shown Michelangelo's famous sculpture. "Carrasquilla's husband, Victor Carrasquilla, told the paper that his wife is a "strong evangelical Christian" and said the board should not have forced her to resign." Bishop is the Chair of the School Board and Carrasquilla is the teacher. https://www.insider.com/florida-principal-forced-resign-parents-simpsons-michelangelo-david-statue-2023-3 The Lord help those teachers if they also start examining the art of the Romans. There they might be exposed (horror of horrors) to dozens of other examples of the male nude - on frescos in Pompeii and dozens of depictions of the God Pan. Better still, a good idea if students and their ridiculous parents are banned from travel to Italy and all art galleries and museums! The purity of their simple minds might thus be preserved. LOL

  14. Apologies in advance for wandering off-topic but the issue of attitudes to nudity deserves a thread of its own. There are some interesting (and amusing) disparities historically and culturally. For example, while Athenian youths in the time of Socrates practised and performed athletics and wrestling in the nude-often watched by admiring audiences of men- English guys of the same age at Rugby School three hundred years ago (yes, Tom Brown's school) were required to undress in barrels to ensure total privacy. And there's the shyness of Thai guys undressing in our rooms , often discussed on forums such as this, which surprises newbies. None of this however compares to the deranged attitudes at play in the Michelangelo incident.

  17. I decided to post here as this is my original thread. Hello everyone, I am back from my 11 day trip to Brazil. I feel sick, I threw up yesterday, I feel better now. On top of that I have a sore anus. Let me begin by saying, now I understand why everyone raves about Brazil here in the forum I am not much of a writer, so I will try to keep it brief but I do realize the benefits for sharing information especially for newbies like me. It helped a lot, So I really want to thank all the people who have shared knowledge about their Brazil trips. I did 5 nights in Sao Paulo and 6 nights in Rio. Solo Trip. I was super nervous, I have been to other countries but for some reason, Brazil was alway regarded as unsafe everywhere. Anyways lets get to the point. I want to let you know that this review is from a first time Brazil visitor and not a seasoned one. From Day 1-4 I went to Lagoa. My Oh my. It was delicious! haha. I know some people who have been to Brazil multiple times have mentioned that Lagoa is not the same anymore in terms of boys but for a first timer like me, it was amazing!! The only day it was kinda disappointing to me was Sunday at lagoa (I was there thu-sun) in terms of boys. I really liked the staff there too, very helpful. There was this one garoto whose name started with 'H' was such a sweetheart, he ended up becoming my regular. One thing to note, calling an uber To Lagoa is almost impossible. I had so many drivers cancel the ride. I think it is because of the confusing turn maybe. So what I used to do was call the uber to the market 'Remax' which was on the next street and stay in the market, until uber comes. Both the hotel people and lagoa people always told me to never take my cellphone out in public. On Monday day 5, I give myself some rest.Ooofff. A bottom needs to eat as well. Lowkey jealous of all the tops. I would do light breakfast, then douche after a couple of hours, have my fiber pills and have dinner after the sauna visit. On Day 6, Tuesday. I took the bus to Rio. It was through Flixbus. Really good bus but crappy wifi. After reaching Rio and freshen myself up. I was ready to go to 117 on their famous tuesday. Very nice front desk person, and he explained to me in english. I then made my way to explore the building. To my disappointment, it is such a run down, old looking building with mostly old looking rooms. But the selection of garotos was phenomenal there. Muscular!! A bottom's heaven...lol On Day 7, Wednesday. I went to 202. This was their free cabin day and it was packed!! I have never spent this much time at a sauna, but that includes the wait times for the room. The building is worse than 117 but the rooms are slightttllyy better. On Day 8, Thursday. I checked Meio Mundo but it was dead, probably on the wrong day. The guy was nice enough for me to check out the place before I pay. I went to 117 then. Following days I switched between 117 and 202. I don't know which one is Junior at 202 but the young guy on the front desk who is probably the son of the older finer gentleman is sooo cute. Other things to note: I did uber for everything as this was my first time. Maybe i was a little too cautious. I used Uber black. I used Airbnb experiences for touristy things I stayed at hotels in both SP (Ibis Styles Centro) & Rio (Royal Regency Palace Hotel). I did not intend to bring anyone to my room. I got a cheap alternate cellphone but I was not able to get a sim at GRU airport without a brazilian document, so I had to go to a mall and go to the vivo store to get the sim. They speak Portuguese but if you speak Spanish, you can get by for a short visit. Don't get me wrong when I say 'run down building'. I was expecting 117 and 202 to look like Thermas Barcelona & Lagoa. Having said that neither thermas bcn or lagoa are palaces but you would understand what I am talking about when comparing to 117 or 202. The boys charged $R 150 - 200. I did not negotiate. Brazil is a beautiful country, a must visit. As long as you are aware of your surroundings, you are good. I would love to go again! Don't let anything discourage you from visiting. Feel free to ask any questions!

  18. Intro I have been reading trip reports of those who have recently been to Bangkok, and taken in a lot of the information that helped me decide some of the things I could do and visit on this trip and places I might want to eat at. It’s only fair that I return the favour by writing about my recent visit to Bangkok. I was last in Bangkok in mid February 2020, soon after the start of COVID, and just a few weeks before travel started to shut down to/ from most countries. This February was my first time back in the city since then. On this trip, I had visited a number of other cities in Africa before heading to Thailand. Bangkok was my last stop, before heading home. This time, I was there for 12 days, in mid February. I came via Doha, travelling on Qatar Airways. I will say, without any hesitation, that their service is the best I have experienced compared to many of the other airlines I have travelled on over the past 5 years. Theirs was actually the cheapest fare in business class from the African city I was travelling from. Their lounge in Doha is huge and lots of staff there to help you if you needed any assistance. The lounge in Bangkok, although smaller, was quite something! They have a limited choice of food options in their lounges, although they will make fresh sandwiches and cook eggs for you, if requested. In comparison, the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge in Istanbul tops the list for food options. Sorry for a bit of digression…. I arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport around 12:30 pm. A few flights had landed about the same time, so there were several people in the arrivals area at the time. After a good walk, I was in the Fast track immigration line up. The line I was in was taking longer as a farang ahead of me was being asked several questions by the immigration officer. I changed lines and was served by another officer quickly. (The farang must have spent at least 15 mins with the officer overall). By the time I got to the luggage carousel, my bag was already there. I read in other posts that it had taken much longer to get the bags, so it seems some of those issues have now been addressed. There was a lineup for taxis outside, so it took another 10 minutes before getting into the cab. The driver took the Expressway, but upon exit we had to deal with the daytime traffic in Bangkok. I was headed to the Raya, and told the driver to turn on Surawong, but he turned at Silom, so it took an additional 10 mins in that traffic (and slow traffic lights). Did he do that on purpose for the extra charge? I think so! Check in was quick and I was in the suite on the 8th floor in no time. Agoda had a deal going on couple of months prior, so I got the suite at a very decent rate. This was the least I paid for a hotel room during this whole trip, where I stayed at a number of hotels in different cities. I had invited a friend from Philippines to join me on day 5 of my trip. He was there for a week. While we had some of our meals together, we otherwise each did our own thing. Over the course of 12 days, the weather was very warm, reaching up to 35 degrees on some days. Things cooled down to about 26 deg for 3-4 days after a heavy rainfall overnight and in the morning during the middle part of my trip. Although it became very humid for a day, it was then pleasant. After the short reprieve, the temperature soared back to 35 degrees. What a change in the weather when heading home: from temperatures that reached mid 30’s in Bangkok, to almost zero (with some snow and lots of rain) in my hometown.

Those are the groups that have been supporting suppression of the arts, books, film and imagery when they are getting onto the school boards, encouraging DeSantis to bring all this ANTI legislation using kids as their mission stmt. Its a movement. All they are doing is HARMING kids by depriving them a well rounded education..... They hide behind the church but are the biggest hypocrites. They shouldnt BE parents. And perhaps you are listening to FOX News, which is why you probably havent heard about it. I suggest switching to a more truthful news station.

  24. From Pattaya News The Phuket Immigration revealed to the Thai media that two foreigners received red cards and four foreigners received a yellow card this month, March 2023, so far. Phuket Immigration reported that there are in total 181 foreigners in the legal process of criminal cases. Most of them are Russian, French, British, Myanmar, and Cambodian. The most criminal cases are in Patong. Most cases are drunk driving, following by overstaying, illegally entering the kingdom, and working without a work permit. According to Phuket Immigration the system is indeed like a football game. Red cards in sports mean leaving a sport field but in terms of Immigration it means withdrawing one’s visa and requiring the foreign national to immediately depart Thailand. The length of a ban for entry to Thailand under the red card rule varies based on the severity of the crime. However, many foreigners don’t know about Thai culture or Thai laws, Phuket Immigration noted. As a result, many foreigners claimed when arrested or told about penalties based on their behavior that they didn’t know the law or rules or claimed that nobody had clearly told them the laws or rules. Many claimed they saw other people do the same type of crime or rule violation and not get penalized and felt they could do so also or asked why others were not penalized and they were. Phuket Immigration has set up a measurement tool for the red card and yellow card system. For the first time one did something wrong, they gave them yellow cards for a warning and reported their behavior to consulates. If they did it again, they will receive red cards. Their visa will be withdrawn and will be deported as previously stated.

    Egypt update

As a frequent traveller to Egypt (specifically: Cairo) I must say that I don’t recognise the transactional nature of a lot of the posts here. I never pay for sex; I do not approve of prostitution. If a guy is doing the deed with me, I want him to be doing so because he fancies me, not because of the contents of my wallet. I travel to Cairo frequently for business and pleasure, and I have made many friends there. Most of them I met through apps, specifically, Grindr and Growlr. You can spot the fakes and they’re easy to ignore, but I have met some genuinely nice guys who remain friends. Turning on Grindr in Cairo is very good for one’s ego, if I turn it on, within five minutes I will have 300 messages. I exaggerate not. A lot of them are openly “cash top”; welcome to my blocked.list is my standard reply. Cairo is a bottom’s paradise: tops are both plentiful and hung. it’s never been a problem entertaining in my hotel room. I have only once been approached by hotel staff as described in some of the posts, but I’ve never done anything with them. I have also been cruised in the streets, and riding the Metro in shorts on a crowded train was very much a mistake. I would say wearing shorts In Cairo is an easy way to get picked up, because no locals wear shorts, so it makes you stand out. I once had a couple of Saudi guys feel me up in a lift in the Intercontinental Hotel, when I was wearing shorts. I don’t think each knew what the other was doing. The hottest incident was being picked up by a policeman in uniform at the Marriot in Zamalek. He was middle-aged, I guess mid 40s, and was in uniform, and I think a senior officer given the pips on his epaulettes. He was sitting at a table adjacent to me. We started talking, and over time as we were chatting, I could see that he had an huge erection in his trousers. Eventually he asked if my room had a nice view of the Nile, which I replied it did, so he asked if you could see it, adding that he had never been in any of the rooms. Of course I took him up, and, well, you can fill in the blanks. It was wild.

  26. From Nikkei TOKYO -- Thaksin Shinawatra, the Thai prime minister ousted by the military in 2006 who has lived in self-exile since 2008, said that he expects Thailand to have a coalition government after the May 14 general election even if the largest opposition Pheu Thai Party wins a majority in the lower house. "I believe it will be a coalition government, definitely," Thaksin told Nikkei Asia in an exclusive interview in Tokyo, adding that he is confident Pheu Thai will win at least 250 seats in the 500-seat chamber. Thaksin also told Nikkei that he would not want the new government to issue an amnesty allowing him to return home, however strongly Pheu Thai performs. He will return to Thailand of his own accord at some stage, even if it means serving a jail term. "I think about going home all the time, but I don't want the government to issue an amnesty for me," he said. Thaksin declined to say whether Pheu Thai is making any deals with other political parties to form a new government. "I am just a founder of the party -- not a member -- so what I can do is observe the election from a distance," he said. Thaksin Shinawatra, a billionaire telecom tycoon, gained prominence in Thai politics in 1998 when he founded the Thai Rak Thai Party, which won a landslide election victory in 2001. He set up a single-party government after a number of small parties were absorbed by Thai Rak Thai, which literally means 'Thais Love Thais.' Thailand's House of Representatives was dissolved on March 20, paving the way for a general election on May 14, when more than 52 million eligible voters will have the opportunity to elect a new government. This follows nine years of military-dominated rule that produced Thailand's 20th constitution and imposed an unelected Senate able, among other things, to dictate the choice of prime minister. Of the 500 seats in the lower house, 400 have been assigned to local constituencies, and 100 are allocated on a party list basis from the overall election result to provide an element of proportional representation. Thaksin is fielding his youngest daughter, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, to lead the Pheu Thai election campaign, but it is unclear if she will be its prime minister candidate. Thaksin was the first elected Thai prime minister to go full term, and in 2005 was reelected with 377 seats. His youngest sister, Yingluck Shinawatra was elected prime minister in 2011, and removed in 2014 by court order shortly before the current prime minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, staged his coup as army chief. Pheu Thai was set up in 2007 as a reincarnation of Thai Rak Thai. It won the largest number of seats in the 2019 election, but without a majority was unable to form a coalition government.

  27. This evening it was time to get back on the table M89 (Lad Phrao 15/1) I saw this place on Twitter (https://twitter.com/M89Massage) It's a bit off the usual beaten track, but just a quick 10 minute walk from the Lad Phrao MRT. Shop is quite nice and modern. Not too much English spoken here, but we all managed with good humor. I used Line to make a booking several hours ahead of time. I arrived shortly before 7 PM and my masseur, Mr. Ten, was already there. (Photos below). I was smitten with his photos on Twitter. He was a bit taller and better built than I was expecting. The room up several flights was very nice. En suite shower, music playing on a decent speaker. Small bottle of cold water provided. I selected my usual 90 min massage which was 650 baht (there was a 100 baht off promo going on). Minimum tip 500. I was invited to shower and Ten came back to the room just as I was finishing the shower. Nice massage table with a good amount of cushion on the top. After a few dud massages this one was much more of what I like. He started with my back and some full weight Thai massage but relatively quickly transitioned to a very relaxing oil massage with a good variety of strokes. He draped the part he wasn't working on and used Google translate to let me know to tell him if the AC was too cold. Overall I found Ten to be a very pleasant masseur who was interested in giving me a good service. He then moved on to my legs and eventually flipped me over. He had been clothed up until this point but eventually the clothes came off. I was happy with the finish. Then we showered separately. He again used Google translate to ask me some questions about where I am staying and how long I have been here which I thought was nice. I think the session lasted about 75 minutes. On the whole it was a very nice experience.

  28. FIRST FULL DAY After arriving yesterday afternoon and being jet-legged, today was going to be my first full day in Thailand. Noticed the new Sikom Edge shopping center. Which is nothing special. Just again another mall, like there are so many in Bangkok. Good thing is the restaurants in Edge are open 24hr a day. Maybe a good alternative for foodland for a change for a after midnight snack? The new pavement on Silom Road is finished. They even made room for new trees and other greenery. Good to see more and more green in the city. Also Patpong Night Market is back. With the first part on the Silom Road side begin a food market and the old skool market as we know it from before covid is in the second part of the street. In the evening I was first at Hua Lamphong station. This week they light up the facade of the station and some areas inside as part of an art project. And they have two old trains on showcase. CLOSED BARS IN BANGKOK It was still early when I walked from Silom subway station back to my hotel via Soi Patpong 2. It was around 9pm and I noticed DreamBoy and Freshboys (still) being closed and all dark. Strange. Normally by now they would be opening up, even though it would not be busy at all at this time. Back in my hotelroom I asked a massage guy I met last time in September if he maybe knows what's happening. He told me that a friend of him has heard police was checking all bars and massage parlours for foreign boys working there. Later in evening I decided to go out and check if the bars were open again. But they were still all closed. Tawan Bar, DreamBoy, Hotmale, Freshboys and even Jupiter... All closed and all had their neon-lights out. Hopefully tomorrow they will be open again, as I really would love to visit these bars again offcourse... Anybody has any past experience when the bars opened again after police raids? Edit: By the way, the "normal" gaybars were open tonight. Only the "naughty bars" closed.

  33. First time trip report- please be kind. Arrived Thursday night/Friday morning. Flight was uneventful and we landed at BKK at about midnight. Took about 20 mins through immigration and bags were already rolling out. Picked up my bag and went to get a cab. Stall number 46 was my guy, and away we went. The driver was hauling ass most of the ride, and then slowed down to a crawl on the mostly empty highway. I realized he didn't know how to get to The Raya- (thanks Vinapu), despite me showing him the address in Thai. I whip out google maps and then direct the ride for the final 20 mins. Upon arrival, I suggest the driver should pay me since I did the navigation. He didn't think this was quite as funny as I did, but I tipped him well so all was forgiven. Checked in, checked the apps, and passed out. Friday- I decided to walk around to see what had changed since the pandemic. I walked past Green Massage to see if my guy was still there. It was relatively early, but there were only 2/3 people sitting outside, and my guy was not one of them. (When in Bangkok, I like to treat myself to a foot massage almost every day, as it's so cheap. I found a guy at Green that is great. Once, he convinced me to go upstairs for a full body massage, and it got sexy! He's not really my type, but he was so nice and eager, so I enjoyed the massage and the extras with him. Let's call him U. I figured he went back home during the pandemic and I would never see him again, but I went to check anyway. Hope springs eternal they say.) So, as I walked past the dog leg near Prime Massage, I am almost at Silom Road when I hear me name being called. Turn around, and there's U! He's a at Relax Thai Massage now- on the right after the dogleg. The guys there all wear black. Anyway, we hug and chat for a minute, and I tell him I will be back in an hour and get a foot massage. AMAZING start to Day 1. But I was on a mission so I continued on my way to: Foodland! I needed to get my favorite facial soap and they sell it there. I got the soap and some other things and check out. I was tempted to drop into the Unesco World Heritage Site 5 Michelin starred restaurant, but I had a foot massage scheduled and I needed to drop off my purchases. So we will have to save it's delights for another day. Foot massage was great, as always, and U would stick his hands up my shorts and tickle my balls every once in a while- I would smile and he would giggle. He's very sweet and I am glad he is back in Bangkok. We chatted about the pandemic and losing work for so long (I also lost work the entire time) so I could fully empathize. Massage ended and Ieft with a promise to return the next day for another. Paid and tipped and went to lunch at Mango Tree. I have a tradition of Pad Thai at Mango for my first lunch in Bangkok. I also wanted to see the situation on that soi, so I walked down that way after lunch. Couldn't really figure out what was happening with the new place Queen or New Twilight or whatever- confusing to say the least. Will need further investigation. Back to hotel to relax for a minute and shower as I was heading to Arena in the late afternoon. I walked down Silom and into the plaza were Arena is. Went up and was met outside by the boss man. He said something as he opened the door, and about 20/25 guys all hopped up. I usually just pick a guy I like the looks of and see what happens. In this case it was a muscular guy who had a really great smile and seemed eager. So up I went with Mike. We got to the room and I took another shower. Mike comes in and he showers and is just as sexy naked as I thought. He speaks decent English and is nervously chatting and laughing. He tells me it's his first day, which of course I do not believe. But when the massage starts, I think- maybe it's true... Instead of a half-assed attempt at massage, I start to get pulled and twisted and pummeled as in a traditional Thai massage. This is unexpected, but very nice. The nervous chatter and laughter continues throughout. He also places little kisses and bites on my ass every once in a while- nice touch! About 20 mins later, he starts with the requested cream massage. This feels awesome and he uses his strong arms and body all over me. He grabs my hand and puts in on his nice sized rock hard cock. He then asks to fuck me- but I am a top so I say "I fuck you!" More nervous laughter as he apologizes, but I say it's OK- no problem. We continue the massage and he starts to jerk me off and play with my ass. It's not gonna happen, but does feel nice. The ending was strong and I was sweaty. I get in the shower and he gets in with me and soaps me up and continues to grind on me and smack my ass- like we are in the locker room. He tells me several more times that I am the one to "open" him- meaning first customer. We dry off and get dressed and he playfully changes out my shoes with his- all the while laughing and joking with me. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for sure! Was I really his first customer? Or was that just more Magic of Thailand? I suppose there's no way to know, but it was a great afternoon. Back to hotel, short nap, and then off to get some dinner. I stopped in Hotmale Beer Bar and had a pint. Chatted with the guys there, then on to Soi 4, as I haven't yet seen it with life. It was hopping at about 8 pm! Went to Circus and had some fried rice and another pint. Then off to Dreamboys to see how it was. I loved Lucky Boys, so I was hopeful. Well- let's just say the guys weren't great. Seated in the back and left alone by the managers, and there were probably 25 other customers inside. There were a few guys that would be fine, but as it was early, I paid the outrageous sum of 500 baht for my beer, and ventured over to Hotmale upstairs. Only 4 other customers there. But i ordered a beer and there were some cuties for sure. One guy caught my eye, number 32. Cambodian guy, super cute, gay, and speaks good English! Score! He goes and gets his clothes and I pay for our beers and the bar fine and off we go. As it wasn't even 10pm yet, we walked back over to Soi 4, and a tout that I knew from BC (before covid) managed to pull us into Banana Room. The show was going on, so we were seated by the infamous Lucy. I am feeling generous, so I buy Lucy a drink, for old times sake. My Cambodian (S) enjoyed the show- said he had never seen it before. I also gave him a few red notes to tip the performers which he seemed to like doing. We watch the show and it ends with big cocks on the metal pole. Pay the tab and head out. We dropped back by Hotmale Beer Bar for a nightcap and talked. S was very touchy-feely and planted kisses on my cheek and lips. Very friendly and fun. Paid up there and went back to the hotel. As soon as we get int he door, he drops his clothes. I ask if he wants a shower. No, he says. After, with you. Alright then. So we get into bed and he lived up to his promise to do everything. And everything we did. A really passionate and fun guy! We hopped in the shower after and went to bed. Snuggled all night then woke up and had a morning session. We got each other off again, showered and he left. So that's how my morning started on Day 2. He is a definite repeat. More later...

don't worry about lack of boys and too much rain, just go. All bars will be opened and well staffed, it may rain but it never rain more than 1-2 hrs. max. Since May is my favorite vacation month I was in Thailand in that month quite a few times ( 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2022 ) and never noticed any shortage of guys

  36. Urwin was on one tonight! Double Shot is great. The boy with the longer hair, skinny. He is a lot of fun! Speaking to other bars owners this was the best Saturday / weekend since covid. Bars were packed. Boys were being bar fined all over. The complex was alive again. I had my best night out since 2019. Just a shame the police had to turn up and close everyone at 1:45am. Great way to welcome back tourism. Shove flashing red lights, guns and flashlights in their faces. Well done BIB! I guess it's important to remember that after 2am, in a bar, you catch covid. Idiots.

  37. You would be able to swim every day. I do. It only rains for an hour or so. You never get prolonged rain. As said above, as long as nothing "bad" happens globally, the bars and massage shops will be open everyday, every month, year round. Just as they were before covid. Keep in mind that there is a large number of expats here. We keep the bars and massage shops alive in low season. Jomtien Complex is all host bars. No gogo bars. Head to Boyztown for gogo bars. Toy Boy, A bomb, X Boys, Dreamboys. Sunee Plaza has Winner Boy and Nice Boys, but it can be dead some nights, even now in the run up to high season. As for Bangkok, I think there are other members here who live in Bangkok and can give you better information. I live near to Jomtien.

IF there is a stumbleblock then it will be yet another new outbreak of this dreadful virus-and noone will be able to predict. For the rest: be assured: what always strikes many is the really GIANT oversupply of about every commodity what the tourist may perhaps want and which what some money can be made. Available boys for some pleasure always outnumber the potential takers multifold. Wheather wise this is not really a good time- the later end of the Thai very hot and also very HUMID ´summer-a refresher then when finally the rainy season starts some weeks later. That is why the schools have their holidays here then.......For airlines and travelagencies this is the lower valley of the low season. Which mostly-I hope for you too-will also give the lowest airfares.

  39. May will be fine. Boyztown will likely be very quiet, but if you head to Jomtien Complex all the bars and massage shops will be open. There may be a few less boys, but also a lot less tourists, so less competition. I love low season, and hate high season. The only advantage of high season is the slightly cooler weather. Everything else sucks. As a travel tip, don't use "Pattaya Jomtien Supertown" This place doesn't exist. No taxi driver, motorbike taxi, bar boy or anyone else will have a clue. You want to say "Jomtien Complek" (Thai's dont say X). Good luck planning your trip. I am sure you will have a great time.

  41. This thread strikes a chord. And not a pleasant one. I'm in into my third week in Pattaya and am having a great time after thirty months away. Mainly thanks to the efforts of my partner, whose good humour and enjoyment have kept me smiling. However, those thirty months of separation took their toll on me physically and mentally. I lost both my oldest friend and then my brother, both to cancer, and this led to my relationship- my very distant relationship- with P assuming enormous significance. So this trip, on which I lavished time and money, the financial savings from six missed journeys to Thailand , was essential. It has gone well but there have been issues with my stamina. Gone are the late nights; 0300 when I was a butterfly twenty years ago, and 2300 during my nearly eighteen years involvement with P. It's now a 2100 retirement. And I'm always ready. Also gone is my 1800 pre-dinner Singha. Until now, a highlight. A time for reflection. Now that one beer is, bluntly, too much for me. On the credit side, I've swum every day and my bedroom stamina has been excellent. I face the onset of old age with sadness. I was seventy- three when I was last here. Those two missed years have undoubtedly made a big difference to my routines. However, flights and hotels (BKK, Chiang Mai and Jomtien) in November are all booked and paid for, and so I must have some life left in me. The aim is to spend what's left of my existence living as disgracefully as possible!

  42. Another interesting thread Olddaddy, especially as I am even older at 68 and I am preparing for a 4 week trip in September, my longest ever. I usually do between 2 and 3 weeks, but now, almost fully retired, I have the opportunity to stay longer and wanted to see how I would cope with a longer stay both financially and physically. I am overweight, but not obese, physically active but no gym slave. I live a celibate life alone at home and drink moderately maybe once a week. Yet get me over to Thailand and I am trying to pretend I am a 20year old again, drinking and partying most nights and shagging at least two or three times a day. And when I first came here over ten years ago I could, and I did. But age is slowly catching up on me and, if I am being honest, I am slowing down. And that manifests itself in my sexual activities; let me explain. I do more threesomes, no seriously! . I am usually one of two 'tops', and although I participate, these days I am personally more of the warm-up act rather than the 'main event', and end up watching as the other top pounds the ass off the hapless twink of the night (usually my boyfriend - he loves it!). I love oil massages and their happy endings, but now it is mostly HJs and BJs (although not always ) and not always to orgasm, but I still love the teasing massage experience, and I love making the boys cum. I can still fit in at least one or two short-times a day, but increasingly I am happy to bottom. The pornstar sessions of yore when I am pounding the ass of a beautiful twink in various positions to a mutually happy conclusion are becoming less and less common each trip. In fact if I can actually cum once a day I am more than happy. But I still absolutely love being with naked, horny, young Thai guys less than half my age even if they don't have to work quite as hard to earn their money as they did a few years ago. And of course it is not just the sex, I am having to learn to moderate my drinking and partying. I try not to start drinking alcohol until after 10pm at night, although I am often still fairly drunk by the time my boyfriend and I make it back to the room, but now its often a case of shower and sleep rather than shower, sex and sleep. But although, as I get older, my holiday activities are slowly evolving, I still have an absolute blast! and look forward to my forthcoming trips with much the same excitement as I did ten years ago.

  43. I average 1 guy a day, sometime 2 if I get an early afternoon massage and then meet a boy at a bar at night. Some days I'll take a day off and just relax when I feel a little too tired. I'm in my 30s, fairly fit, and drink most nights on holiday but very rarely when at home. Taking a day off to go try some restaurants, going for a quiet walk on the beach, and reading a book by the pool is never a bad day spent in my opinion. The way I look at it is, are enjoying your holiday and are you satisfied? if you answer yes, then that's all that matters. It's not a competition, just relax and go at your own pace.

  44. Exactly. If I would pay a boy a drink and he didn't finish his drink yet and were talking for just 5 minutes or so, and another farang would jump in and "steal" the boy's attention I would not pay for the boydrink but let the staff or mamasan put that drink on the other farang his bill...

    Interfering rude farang

In such a case I'd say, gnash your teeth and let it go instead of creating scene. We don,t know what boy,s intentions are and sometimes he may get directed by mamasan to sit with certain customer, usually well known for good business he is bringing in. Older readers of this forum may recall my story form old Tawan when guy with off and tip sealed told me exactly in the moment of paying off fee that he must go with another customer. I was left open mouthed gaping for an air. I still don,t know reason but I suspect managerial order. Anyways two years later I gave him 2nd chance and was mightily rewarded with what to this day I consider my best by far long time off ever. The same way we have our favorite guys, boys may have their favorite customers, unfair as it is, it,s just fact of life.

    Interfering rude farang

I really shouldn't comment as I have not been in a bar for some years. However, I did also have this happen maybe 7 or 8 years ago. It turned out that the man my boy turned to was a regular at the bar, had offed the boy before at least once and was known as a good tipper. At that point, I had not even tipped my boy my usual 100 baht for sitting and chatting to me. I have no idea if your boy knew the other man but suspect that he did. I did not make a fuss as the last thing I wanted was a boy sitting next to me who really preferred to be with another guy he knew to tip well. My view is that buying a drink for a boy should give you some proprietorial rights unless another has told the mamasan he wants to take the boy out. But I don't think logical thinking is ever at the forefront of bar behaviour. Certainly making a scene would just make you look stupid in the eyes of all the bar workers. They'll mark you down as a trouble maker which could affect your enjoyment of any future visit you make.

  47. Morocco is the most liberal of the Arab countries, their king is said to be gay. Cruising is very obvious, they way they stare at you without looking away if there is an interest. I haven't been back for awhile since Brasil and Thailand keep me going back....Tunisia is on my bucket list, met some guys that told me stories from there, omg.
