    From The Thaiger
A shocking execution-style murder in the early hours of yesterday morning has left the Thai boxing community in mourning. The 56 year old, owner of a boxing camp, known as Sia Dam, was brutally shot in the head and neck by an unidentified gunman, resulting in his immediate death.
The incident, which took place around 4am yesterday, April 22, unfolded in the presence of his son at a religious celebration in Buriram province.
The tragedy struck just as the celebrations at Nong Teng Temple in Nong Teng subdistrict, were concluding. Sia, a respected figure from Chokna Sam Subdistrict, Prasat District, Surin Province had brought two of his boxers to compete at the event, which also included an honorary ceremony for the abbot.
The assailant, who remains at large, used a grey Hyundai van with a Cambodian license plate as the scene for the cold-blooded killing.

    Part 8
Fresh from Prince, I took a taxi back to the hotel and spent the rest of the afternoon chilling and mindlessly doing random things online.
By night time, I was torn between going out or staying in. Not wanting to exaggerate, I kinda feel that my session with Bank should be enough to cap off the day. Although persistent nagging thought keeps on reminding me that I will regret not having maximised my time while in Thailand.
I tried to appease and find a middle ground between my two conflicting thoughts by checking the apps. At least I can stay in but still manage to slut it up (lol).
Could be my luck but the selection during that day was slim pickings. Could be the time of the year but the number of African MBs were not as plentiful compared from last year. I was able to shortlist a couple but by the end, I wasn't convinced. I ended both conversation with a "maybe" then took a taxi to Surawong.
After having dinner, I headed to Screwboys. Very few customers are inside but the stage is full. It felt awkward being "outnumbered" with the whole roster vying for the attention of like 3 customers. I stepped out with my drinks and sat on the couch by the entrance and had an animated chat with the mama and Papasan. We chatted about Sol Bar (see previous report) and suddenly Mai (one of the big cock show guys) arrived. I really find him very attractive but unfortunately he is always booked. Actually, he doesn't mingle a lot - after his performance, he'll be fully dressed up and will be hanging out in the bar or in the dressing area. One day I will off him.
Then T arrived and I was surprised to see him looking very dapper in his dress shirt and pants. We hugged and I greeted him a belated happy birthday. He then whipped out his phone and showed me photos of his birthday party that I missed (that I'm also glad to dodge and not pay for). I complimented how sharp he's looking tonight and he replied saying he got one more shirt like the one he's wearing and he wants to give it to me. I was confused thinking he wanted to sell it to me but he clarified he want to give it for free. I smiled and thanked him for the gesture saying there's no need.
When I sensed that there's enough customers inside, I returned back to my seat. T must be lucky as he's already seated with a customer. Lucky for me as well as I'm spared with the conversation of why I am not choosing him tonight.
Papasan checked on me again suggesting to choose a guy before the show starts. That's not a problem as I already have my eyes on another ex-Dreamboys guy. I made eye contact and motioned him to seat next to me. He introduced himself as Tan and he's from Cambodia. We had a good and decent conversation during the show as his English is quite good - actually the best out of everyone I offed this trip. He said that he's trying to get my attention the last three times I was there but I keep on ignoring him. Again, MB memories are impressively sharp! We also talked about dreamboys and how he ended up leaving (Thai only policy) but he mentioned that working there is much better (I now forgot his reason)
Tan seemed to notice that I keep on massaging my shoulder and neck area  - he then took over the massage which was surprisingly good. Of course it was to be expected  that he then used this to segue and talk about getting offed. My logical self thought that given that he's very attractive plus if the massage hed given will be consistent, then offing him will not be a bad idea. He's adamant for short time and I just agreed (feeling lazy to send him back and start from scratch in the selection process!)
While he's getting dressed, T managed to sneak a few moments and had a chat with me wanting to secure an off next time - I gave a non committal response and gave him a bit of substantial tip (price of one drink) and wished him a happy birthday. He smiled gave me a hearty kiss and left.
While walking towards Starbucks to wait for our grab taxi, I can't help but notice that Tan is a bit touchy feely with either his hand holding mine or over my shoulder. This is kind of new to me with most of my offs previously reserving this gestures inside the bar or hotel.
After showering, Tan started the massage which turned out to be good. I asked him if he was previously trained and he said no - he's just copying strokes he remembers whenever he have a massage and just imagine what will feel good. I was satisfied with that response.
He then transitioned to the more sensual part of the session which turned out to be good as well. He kisses very passionately and the sex didn't feel mechanical. At one point, he's even guiding me what to do to make him feel good (I should be charging him later. Lol). Sometimes it's nice to have a session where both person actually seemed to enjoyed it I guess.
We both finished, exhausted,  and continued our chat. We then showered together, continued our chat lying in bed while having drinks.
I don't know why but for some reason, he then asked if it's ok to change the session to long time as he wants to stay longer. I scanned my memory trying to recall if my room is ready for long time (i.e.valuables, etc are secured) and after weighing my options, agreed to Tan's suggestion.
It would be lovely to have the comfort of sleeping next to a gorgeous, warm and cozy body again.

Arrival in Seoul: A Historical Introduction
I touched down in Seoul, eager to dive into its rich tapestry of history and culture. My first stop was the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace. Built in 1395 during the Joseon Dynasty, this grand palace was the main royal residence, a fact that Jinwoo, a local I met on Grindr, shared enthusiastically as we toured its sprawling grounds. Finding someone on Grindr was easy and the night before, just logging in, I had multiple messages. He was sexy, cute and around 30.  Afterward, we wandered through Bukchon Hanok Village, admiring the perfectly preserved traditional Korean houses. These hanoks date back to the Joseon period, giving a living history lesson on the architectural style and urban planning of old Korea.
Exploring Royal Legacies: Changdeokgung and Insadong
With Jinwoo as my guide, I spent the next day at Changdeokgung Palace, another estate known for its beautifully landscaped gardens and as a favored residence of many Joseon princes. Its Huwon (Secret Garden) is a masterpiece of Korean garden design and a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site, which was designed to work in harmony with the natural terrain. Later, we strolled through Insadong, a district famous for its art galleries housed in traditional-style buildings, antique shops, and tea houses. Each shop offered a piece of Korea’s artistic heritage, from delicate ceramics to intricate metalwork.
Modern Vibrancy and Historical Views: Myeongdong and Namsan Seoul Tower
Venturing out alone, I immersed myself in the bustling streets of Myeongdong, a stark contrast to the historical sites. This shopping haven presented an array of modern Korean fashion and beauty products alongside traditional street food vendors. That evening, Jinwoo and I reunited to visit the Namsan Seoul Tower, located on Namsan Mountain. It closes at 11 but we got there MUCH earlier to see the beautiful lights. The tower offered panoramic views of Seoul, beautifully lit against the night sky.
Relaxation and Romance by the River: Hangang Park with Hyun-sik
Midweek, I met Hyun-sik, another engaging Grindr sexy hunk who introduced himself with a passion for Seoul’s green spaces. Together, we explored Hangang Park, a vital recreational space for Seoulites developed during the massive urban planning initiatives of the late 20th century. He wanted to bicycle the river area but I said I was too old for that shit and passed. That evening, Hyun-sik led me to the Banpo Bridge to witness its famous Rainbow Fountain show. The bridge, built in 1982, features over 10,000 LED nozzles that create a spectacular multicolored water display, beautifully illustrating Seoul's blend of technology and aesthetics.
A Day of Contrasts: Gangnam's Modernity and Bongeunsa Temple's Tranquility
Hyun-sik showed me around Gangnam, an area synonymous with modern affluence and dynamic culture. As we navigated through its high-end boutiques and tech hubs. We ended our day at Bongeunsa Temple, established in the 8th century during the Shilla Dynasty. This Buddhist sanctuary offered a peaceful retreat from the buzzing cityscape, with Hyun-sik highlighting its historical significance as a center of Zen Buddhism in Korea. But, he was Christian and driving from the airport, I will assume that there are MANY there as there were so many crosses and mega churches, I felt like I was back in Alabama but with a bunch of Asians.
Reflective Farewell: Itaewon and Last Supper
My final day in Seoul brought me to Itaewon, a district known for its diverse international community and vibrant nightlife. Hyun-sik and I indulged in a variety of global cuisines, reflecting on my journey through Seoul's past and present. We shared a heartfelt farewell dinner, promising to remain connected across the water.
I stayed at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul which also had a casino and many restaurants. I loved the tea house and the buffets there. But, things were so much more expensive than I remembered.
Seoul has gifted me with profound historical insights, contrasted beautifully by its modern vibrancy. The friendships I've formed here with Jinwoo and Hyun-sik not only enhanced my experiences but deepened my appreciation for this multifaceted city. I invited both boys to visit Bangkok and both said they would come, (we will see).

    Third Experience, Essence & Oil:

After reading CallMeLee's trip report, I started looking into massage parlours. I have only received massages from the standard shops, from older women for a modest price. They've been okay but who wouldn't want a hunky man touching your body instead? I've been hesitant to try any of the male massage parlours because the ones that shout-out to you as you walk by are often littered with twinks and don't necessarily promise anything therapeutic. A man I'm not into and an experience I wouldn't enjoy? Pass.

Honestly, the goal of these encounters isn't necessarily to cum. Sex is easy to find. Grindr has a wealth of options and saunas exist. I'm willing to pay for two things, and merely for convenience: 1) a muscular physique, especially if they can provide a muscle worship session, or 2) big asian cock, in excess of 20cm. "Rare!" you say, but it's definitely possible to find.
So for me, these parlours needs to provide a decent massage and a well-built masseur. I don't need the happy ending. Take off your shirt, we're good!
When CallMeLee praised Ssense, not only for the respectfulness of their masseurs but also for their talent, I was intrigued. I added Ssense to LINE and was impressed with the ease of use. You can view their menu of services, their selection of masseurs, and you can book in advance. I took a look through the models and identified a few that interested me.
Choke, Singha and Bank. This was based on their level of muscle. Initially I booked Choke, because I appreciated his dark skin and the photo they provided showed a lean, well-built body with impressive abs. I read the reviews for Ssense afterward, and rarely saw Choke mentioned. Was he not popular, or simply not very good? I took into consideration his darker skin, which I like. Was that why? I saw a ton of positive reviews for both Singha and Bank.

Oh no. Did I make another mistake?

A quick LINE message fixed that. I asked if I could switch my appointment with either Singha or Bank, whoever was available. Bank was free. I viewed his photos one more time and was impressed with what I saw. The reviews for him were gushing. This was a good choice.
I arrived at the parlour and quickly showed the boy who greeted me the booking on my phone. "Ah, with Bank!" he said. I paid the fee for what I had booked, 1250 THB, which was higher than I expected considering my past massages were 300-400 THB. Hunk tax. I'm okay with that.

Bank greeted me when I sat down in the parlour, and I appreciated that there was a curtain to protect the privacy of whoever was inside. You can't be seen from the street. A nice touch. Bank asked me to remove my footwear and knelt down in front of me. He grabbed the sneakers and exchanged them with a pair of slippers. Another masseur came over and delivered an iced tea. I sipped the cold drink and enjoyed it, but put it down immediately, eager to start the massage. "It's okay, you can finish." Bank reassured me. I gulped the remainder.

I followed him up a set of stairs and he washed my feet. I find this so endearing, even though I know it's typical practice. I noticed he was wearing a hearing device. Did I detect a slight lisp in his voice? Cute. I looked at his body as he did this. He seemed fit and tight, with impressive arms. He was a bit shorter than I imagined.
I was moved to a bed nearby, and provided with a change of clothes. Oh, is this a real massage? I was expecting to be naked, silly me. I change into the provided shirt and pants and it's time for the first part of the massage, an hour of Thai massage. Now I understand that Thai massage is performed easier this way.
The massage begins with me laying face down. I'm dressed, he's dressed and I can't see him. Oh no! But the massage is GOOD! Bank has good pressure and a strong technique. He isn't spending a lot of time on only a single body part. He isn't just "going through the motions." This is a legit massage! I'm impressed. His English is minimal but he makes some small talk and asks a few questions. Anything beyond that, he uses the translator on his phone. He has to repeat things several times for it to translate properly, but he doesn't get frustrated. He repeats again and again in his gentle, soft voice, until the phone finally registers what he is saying.

I'm flipped over after a while, and while I never get erections during a massage, Bank's look mixed with his personality has me rock hard. As he is massaging me, he grabs it with his hand gently and wiggles it, giving a little laugh. I find this so cute. Still, nothing sexual occurs. The massage continues to be top quality, although there is a female patron in the bed next to me, and she is quite the chatterbox. She's speaking Thai so I attempt to tune her out. Near the end of the massage, a few more clients arrive. The quiet was peaceful, but luckily it's on to the second part of the massage.
1 hour cream massage. We switch rooms to one on a higher floor. The room is quite nice! Bank sets the appropriate lighting, turns on some music, provides me with a towel and asks me to take a shower. The room has a small shower in the corner, and it's spotlessly clean. He says he will go and get the supplies to massage me with, and I'm a little sad he didn't offer to shower with me. We can't have everything, but now I'm really wondering if anything sexually will occur at all!

I strip naked and shower. A few minutes later Bank is back in the room and I'm laying face down on the massage table with a towel over my butt. It's respectful, right? Luckily things are about to take a turn.

Bank removes his shirt and I'm left to stare at his muscular chest. He has firm and impressive pecs, and noticeable abs. His arms are thick. His body isn't fully to my ideal standard, but let's not be picky okay? This man has already won my heart with his personality. I smile at him and I look at his body, and he smiles back. I take this opportunity to softly touch him as he massages me. I run my finger along his skin, and then work up the courage to place my hand on him. "Is this okay?" I ask. He nods and smiles.

The cream massage is nice, but nothing special. It feels particularly good on my back, since my condo has an absolutely awful mattress that wrecked havoc on it the night prior. About 20 minutes later, I'm flipped over and Bank notices my erection again. He takes the towel off, and asks "How much will you give me?" He smiles politely and I don't feel pressured. Unsure of what to offer, I type on his phone: 2000. His smile gets bigger, and he begins to strip completely naked. He tells me to touch his cock. He has a small bush of pubic hair, which I love. He's uncut and his dick is of an average size. Nothing special, but it fills my hand as I gently stroke it.

He makes a swimming motion. I'm a little confused, but not seconds later he's covered himself in cream and is sliding his body against mine. I love this. I can feel his strong stature against me. I'm in heaven.

He seems to want to get me to cum. I tell him, "I don't think it will happen" and he seems confused. He changes my position and starts rubbing his dick on my ass. I imagine him plowing inside of me with each rythmic stroke. I look up at him and he smiles again, he seems so playful and carefree. He doesn't look like every other money boy I've witnessed, with a blank expression and shifty eyes, eager for the cash and to leave the room.

I get up the nerve to ask, "Can you flex your arms?" and he does quite well. He shows off his body. Flexing both biceps until they're tight and baseball-sized. He flexes his abs until they appear a little more defined through his skin. He stays like this, and pumps his dick against my ass. There is no penetration, but the sight is exactly what I needed.

He jerks me off a little, and then goes back to sliding his body against me. It actually feels very good. I tell him that it's okay if he just flexes, and I jerk myself off, knowing this is the only way I'll cum. He shows off his biceps some more, and lets me kiss them. I blow a huge load onto my chest. Bank cleans it up and then showers himself off.

Thinking the massage is over, I sit up. He says, "I finish now, okay?" and I'm a little confused. He proceeds to finish the massage! He spends well past my booked time finishing the massage that he didn't complete, and even gives me a shoulder massage as well. I'm so impressed by this. A real professional. Wow!

He tells me to shower and that he will be back. I do exactly this, and get dressed. He talks to me briefly some more and asks a few questions about me. He gives me his social media profile and tells me to book him again through the shop. He recommends an oil massage next time, as he is not a fan of cream and how it dries. I try and pay him the cash tip I promised, and he says that I can give it to him downstairs. Wow!

I walk back to the lobby and I'm presented with another tea, this time warm, and two biscuits. This is good service. Bank sits by the door and the massage parlour begins to fill with other patrons. I finish my tea and leave the biscuits and Bank opens the front door for me. I give him the 2000 THB in cash and he thanks me. I leave feeling very refreshed and with a little bit of a crush.

Although I don't do four-hand massages, here are some things you might consider.
Four-hand are standard fare at mot shops and not difficult to arrange. However, if it was me I'd follow advice from Vinapu and others. Select one guy you definitely want in the equation and ask him to suggest the other member of your team.
I've spoken with a few members this year who've had four-hands at Natural Massage on Silom Soi 6 and they were  quite satisfied with outcome.
As for six-hand, you need a shop that has more spacious rooms. The one that first comes to mind is One Spa in Saphan Kwai. Even standard rooms are spacious with mattress on floor and ample space for guys to move about around it. And their roster certainly has the twink offerings you have in mind.

Thanks. I hope so too but not in any romantic manner.
One reason why I favour the "paid scene" is the inherent expectation of it being straightforward and purely transactional.
I brought up Jake's odd behavior the following day, asking why he seemed off the previous night. He mentioned feeling excluded and unsure about how to handle the situation (what to do, where to go) if I decided to bring Nai back to the hotel.
It made sense, and as a host (technically he was my guest), I should have been more considerate of that.

    Part 5
After capping off Friday night unexpectedly earlier than planned, we found ourselves waking up way too early and after a quick uneventful breakfast, Jake suggested that we take advantage of the weekend and explore Chatuchak Market. Not my usual preference but I thought why not. Taking the BTS, Jake and I alighted at Mo Chit Station, and as we make our way through the sweltering Mid morning heat, I started to doubt if I made the right choice.
The sprawling market stretched out before us, overflowing with stalls selling everything from clothing and accessories to handicrafts and souvenirs ---- and I must say that the variety of goods are a bit different from what you'll see in Pratunam or similar areas with quite a number of Thailand made items as well which can make the trip worth the effort. The sheer variety of products on offer was overwhelming, and it was easy to lose track of time amidst the labyrinth of alleys and vendors.
But as the day wore on and the sun beat down mercilessly, the heat became unbearable. Desperate for relief, we sought refuge in a nearby massage shop, enticed not just by the promise of relaxation but primarily the coolness of the air conditioning. We settled into comfy chairs side by side, grateful for the break from the scorching heat while getting our feet massaged. As the skilled masseuses worked their magic on our tired muscles, I closed my eyes and let myself sink into a blissful relaxation. Meanwhile, Jake, sitting beside me, couldn't seem to resist grabbing and playing with my hand. At first, I felt a bit self-conscious about Jake's affectionate gestures in public, but as the massage relaxed me more and more, I let go of my worries and simply enjoyed the moment.
As we continued our exploration of the market, I found myself impressed with Jake's natural charm and talent when it came to haggling. Unlike me, who often felt awkward negotiating prices, Jake effortlessly struck up conversations with vendors, his friendly demeanor and easy banter making it seem like a game. Thanks to his skills, we scored some great deals and found ourselves lugging a good haul without burning holes in my pocket.
Feeling lazy to walk back to BTS, we took a bolt taxi going back to the hotel. We both fell asleep in the middle of the traffic with me managing to wake up a few minutes before reaching the hotel. We then went straight to the shower to wash the market off us and had food delivered for dinner.
By 9 pm, we had finally regained enough energy to venture back to Silom. Hailing a taxi, I decided to give Banana Club another chance. Despite its lackluster performance last time, I am willing to give it another shot. As we arrived, the familiar atmosphere greeted us, but this time, there seemed to be a promising increase in the number of guys.
Inside, the ambiance was lively, with the performers putting on a show that was far more entertaining than our previous visit. I counted fifteen guys this time, a significant improvement from the mere four from before. The energy in the club was positive, and we found ourselves enjoying the experience much more than anticipated.
However, I couldn't help but notice a "flaw" in Banana Club's layout. The curtain door allowed potential customers to peek inside before deciding whether to enter or not. This resulted in numerous customers walking away without even stepping foot inside, which wasn't good for business - although good for clients.
One particular guy caught my attention. He's both beefy and cute, and he stood out from the rest. Impulsively, I handed him a pink bill, only to have the eager Papasan assume I wanted him to join us. Not wanting to embarrass the guy, who introduced himself as Nai from Myanmar, I went along with it. Despite his limited English, Nai was incredibly friendly and eager to engage in conversation. Moments later he will have his arms around me while watching the show.
However, this unexpected turn of events seems to have created a slight tension between me and Jake (or it could just be my imagination). The usual chatty him has now been reduced to one word cold responses. Attempting to diffuse the situation, I promised Nai that I would see him again soon, generously tipping him before sending him back to the stage.
Exiting the club, I knew I needed to address the awkwardness between Jake and me. Suggesting we grab dessert somewhere, I attempted to lighten the mood. Gradually, Jake's chatty demeanor returned, and we found ourselves wandering the streets of Silom aimlessly.
As we waited for a taxi, Jake asked why I didn't off Nai. Playfully, I deflected his question, hinting at the intimacy of our previous night and how I prefer that instead. He laughed, pulled me into a hug, planting a kiss on my neck.
In that moment, I felt a rush of conflicting emotions. While part of me relished the affection, another part recognized the need to address whatever this thing is between us before they spiraled out of control.

No dispute that there were more choices  in the past. But did most of us really used it? Perhaps expats or people on 3 months vacations.
I like it better now because it's now and presents options I can use currently.
Boys I was drooling about 10 years ago now are  often balding , developing respectable waist size and often trying to forget about their past job.
For me no memory substitutes for moment I'm entering bar  and spa now, curious as ever what I will find on other side of door . If I dream I rather visualize  my first walk next trip through soi 4  toward Jupiter on my way greeted by owner of G'Bangkok or barkers at Banana then recall some exciting first walk through soi Twilight bak in 2015 as much as I miss it. But it's gone   .
On merit of Sunee it's easy for me as I never really considered the place substitute to my more favorable digs - Boyztown. I liked Good Boys though but still can't say I missed it since it's not there anymore.

no need to be hysterical about an article as there's nothing hysterical there.
There's nothing anti Russian there in respect of their  tourists in Thailand, fact that they feature prominently in Phuket landscape is visible fact and nowhere there it suggests it's bad sign.
That some locals don't like them being in such masse is not unique to Russians , nor Phuket but happens in may places  in the world where locals feel overwhelmed by influx of arrivals be it Cracow in Poland and British or Djerba in Tunisia and Germans not to even mention Pattaya and Chinese bus tours.
Certainly to be more liked  tourists need to learn  how to blend in local culture and tip generously. I never had slightest problems with Russian tourists everywhere but certainly and visibly they like to keep to themselves. I understand that for society with ingrained mistrust of strangers  it may take longer to  learn that type of social skills.

Beitou “gay spa” area is developed with nice walking paths (thermal geo park). But its much more interesting to explore thermal waters in the pools of Emperor Spa. Access from the city is easy by combining metro and local bus (google maps has schedules). Get off the bus when single or groups of twinks or hunks leave the bus (stop called Xinqyi rd 4, displayed in the bus) and follow them down the hill. Or use maps. Price is unchanged 250, mandatory nudity. In the pools you can always spot few guys who could work for exclusive underwear magazine and quite a few guys who have good potentials. The spa is very cruisy, especially later in the evening when the few families are gone. The steam room has a big sign “no sexual harassment”, I was enjoying the steam (very hot btw) and was soon sexually harrased - excessive inappropriate touching! We then proceeded to my hotel to finalize the paperwork for the crime committed. To be fair, he made sure I see him, before he touched me. The hooligan was 28 years old insurance accountant. Nicely cut short hair, nice pecs, cute face and likes kissing and fucking.  Be aware! I invited him for a second interrogation. The spa is open 24 h, the last bus leaves the spa around 11 pm. By 10 pm the crowds where thin. Still, 10pm new people arrived.

I recently used Independence.   The young man (20) was just as described on the website.    There site has good search features. I gave Independence my top 3 choices from their site and my first choice was available.     Their communication was good.
Reservation was all done via email, arrangements make to meed outside a metro station.    I was 5 minutes early and he was 7 minutes late.   But that was not a big problem.   He met me, and we walked about a block to the place.    I paid him and he took the money downstairs and was back in a minute.
He did not speak any English, other to day I was "Big". (language was not a problem, we knew what we were there for).   Im just average by US standards.    We got undressed and showered , that was a nice way to start.    Then the fun started.
He was very satisfying, like to kiss, suck and topped me .  All in all money well spent.
I find it amazing how many of these establishments there are and so many boys available .   Not to here in Dallas, probably a good thing, saves money.   lol.

One of the joys of retiring in Thailand is that the past is still alive.
When I lived in New York City in the 80s is was still popular for concierge / bell boy services to still be free and abundant in many of the NYC residential buildings.
Fast forward with the western move to outsource everything and to eliminate formerly "free" services - these types of free concierge services quickly disappeared - remaining only for the elite and ultra rich people.
I moved to Pattaya 18 months ago and the services available to us condo dwellers in View Talay are amazing and remind me of that time in NYC when we also had these free services.
For example - I don't own a car - but when I first started settling into my condo - I had to make many big purchases and rent special Bolt vans - SUVs to get these purchases home.  I would struggle to get them out of the Bolt when it arrived to the View Talay lobby and amazingly, many from the condo security team would run towards me to help me unload these large boxes and then assist me with the freight elevator and bring them into my condo room - all for free - and with a BIG smile as they are always happy to see you return home.  Of course I tipped them all.
This is one example of many where the free services we get in Thailand are a remnant of what we used to get back in the west....
so, retire in Thailand and have the joy of going back in time :>))

    From Thai PBS World
Rebel forces have captured seven army camps and a government command centre in Myawaddy province of Myanmar, after about four days of fierce fighting, according to rebel sources.
Myanmar jet fighters carried out bombing raids against the rebels of the Karen National Union (KNU) and People’s Defence Force (PDF), but failed to stop their advance, said the sources, adding that the rebels had seized large cache of weapons, including howitzers, mortars, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, hundreds of assault rifles and ammunition left behind by the retreating government troops.
Rebel sources claim hundreds of Myanmar troops of the 275th battalion, from the main barracks in Myawaddy province, surrendered to the rebel forces yesterday, giving rebel forces full control of Myawaddy township, an important border town across the border from Mae Sot district of Thailand’s Tak province.
Leaders of the rebel forces will meet to discuss the administration of the township and the possibility of replacing the Myanmar flag with that of the KNU, which has been fighting the government for several decades.
Thai security forces along the border have been put on alert as a precaution against a possible influx of civilians from Myanmar.
Gunfire and the sound of shells exploding fell silent today, said the sources.
The PDF is the armed wing of the opposition National Unity Government (NUG) of Myanmar. It was formed by the NUG from youths and pro-democracy activists in May 2021, in response to the coup d’état by the military junta and their armed wing, the Tatmadaw.
