Personally, I don’t think we need to worry about being gentle with people who decide to post intimate details of their paid sexual encounters, especially when the poster is shrouded in anonymity and the sex worker is identified (even more so with photo).
Criticizing or commenting on how much someone has paid or tipped been part of the rough-and-tumble of this board for a very, very, very long time.  I don’t think we need a sudden “Snowflake Protection Act” now.  Indeed, I think some people post the info knowing quite well it might stir things up a bit.   I think Scooby used to make the fair point that if you can’t take negative comments, maybe you shouldn’t be posting.  (I think he might have been more definitive.)  This is no longer the Age of Scooby, but it’s still a valid point.
If the OP had taken the time to peruse prior trip reports, then he would have noticed that it has been very very very unusual indeed to post pictures together with names and such details.  I believe the OP actually introduced himself to the board by saying he didn’t want to go through the old trip reports, hence his litany of questions, but if he had he might have noted what has been customary practice here. He chose his own path.  So be it.  
There is a frequent contributor here who in person dismisses some member’s off’s or guys-of-interest as “too fat”, etc.  So far I think that has pretty much always been met with a rolling of the eyes and a perhaps-awkward chuckle.  So, it obviously does happen all the time.  If we take Michael’s analogy of guys hanging out at a bar talking, if someone pulls out his phone and shows a photo of his latest conquest, of course the other guys can start making fun.  “Oh my god, you fucked him.  He looks [......]”  
What is queasy-making here is that the poster is anonymous, the photo is now inscribed in the inter-web, as are all the details.  Personally, I don’t think it should be done.  But if someone does it, everyone is free to comment as they see fit.  And trip reports have been around a long long time.  If fear of receiving comments keeps someone from posting, it’s the price we pay.

If any of us posts here, then it seems to me comments - negative, positive, relevant, irrelevant, etc. - are fair game. Same for comments on the comments, and so on. Freedom of expression is great, but it cuts each and every way. Nothing wrong with a little argie bargie. 

Your money, your business. This forum and other gay forums are known for coming down hard to big spenders. Partly, it is to ensure they don't have to pay more IMHO. But, I have never found in Thailand or other places, boys who did not know the difference between someone generous and someone who is a regular or someone who lives here. They know and they act accordingly. Tip any amount you feel and never regret helping a guy with money. They need it. They deserve it and if you have it, I find it admirable you are willing to share. They shared something great with you and to share something back to them I think is an amazing thing.

Sorry but i have never in many visits to 'Lucky-boys' since they opened seen their line-up as 'apathetic'....thanks unfair and frankly miss-leading to other newbies who might read your posts if its your first visit in that bar?  Lucky-boys has plenty of fun / nice guys who will happily engage with you (i've offed plenty from there)...last trip had several sat with myself & another forum member plus their friends came floating by to chat too.  The issue is...its a big bar so depending on where you sit its not easy for them to see you from stage.

My point is past is past , it's gone and instead of dwelling on memories we should cherish what we have now and we still have plenty. At end of day we need just one guy and he may be the only one standing on the stage when we enter bar. One of evenings I went to Senso and they had only 4 guys at the moment, I still had to make pick out of three I liked.

For my final night, having seen 5 shows and 5 boys' parades, I decided to try another approach: off without drink before shows start. I planned to look for Watt at ML; if that didn't work out - try the list of 4 numbers (jotted down on Sunday) at Dream; and as a last resort - visit the 'lesser' clubs.

As Drimvoiz had told me, Watt's English is much better than boys' average. He's studying tourism in order to become a fight attendant, and his general knowledge reflected this. He asked me in a roundabout way why I asked for him without ever meeting before. When I told him an internet-friend had recommended him, he was disappointed I didn't know Drimvoiz' real name. It was obvious this was a first for him.

Located on the ground floor of Trinity Silom Hotel, just off BTS Chong Nonsi. It's actually two restaurants in one, and they really have two menus (one on the front, one on the back of the large menu card), "Lon Lon Local Diner" and "The Local Canteen". The latter is supposed to be there only temporarily while they renovate their own space just around the corner., but who knows lol Anyway....
The food is really good and they have things you don't get in run-of-the-mill Thai restaurants.

Why do posters feel the need to stay in Silom hotels. AirBnB has so many apartments on soi 3. Its not far from Patpong, and you can "live like a local" as they say. The sub-soi directly behind Bangkok Bank has some great food. Anon's 88  Eatery and Bar on the main 3 is great.

I had been traveling to Thailand about 20 years I can certainly confirm you western gay numbers tourists and expacts comming to Thailand are dropping sharply this started around 2005/6 ,the golden years for me were between1999 to 2004 but I am not  mourning still Thailand is the best destination for me : attractive boys, cheap leaving costs , freindly people and excellent food.

dont expect ANYthing at 10.00 mornings in about any place.
Some of the out-of-cnetre Thai places have some of their staff also living there (I really cannot say if thats the case for any of the places mentioned here-not been there for years) and then they advertise with ''24 hrs''. In effect that means a guy sleeping there has to be woken up (probably you first have to also wake up cashier/reception etc.)-now just think of what that will mean for your ''treatment''.
About all of the normal 10.000s of Thai msg shops, be it in touristtown or in Thaitown, only open up by 10.00 at the earliest-which means by that time someone arrives to open up, start cleaning, set the boards out etc. and thus maybe after 30 mins service can be given.
As has been said so often; APPs are the answer to all that. Even when visiting a shop that states to open by that time, do it.

It baffles the imagination yet another successful shopping mall has opened in a new high rise diagonally opposite the Samyan MRT station.
Samyan Mirtown Features a hotel, condos and offices with a five-level mall on the lowest floors. It’s connected to the MRT station via a circular tunnel that has become a very popular location with photographers. 
The ground floor of the mall is open 24/7 with a food court. If you arrive in the Silom area and it’s too early to check into your hotel, or you need to kill some time before a late night departure, this may be an attractive option. It’s one stop beyond Silom on the MRT. 
On the fifth level there’s a large, two-sided outdoor observation deck (photo below).

Absolutely they change, though I was in Screwboys last Monday night, the 11th, and many nights in the month before that so am up to date for the moment. 

I only spent 2 nights in Bangkok this time round (first night and last night), as my main focus was the Yee Peng Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai (highly recommended!)
As mentioned in the Moonlight thread, my first night was spent at Moonlight, followed by off-ing a Vietnamese hunk from Lucky Boys.
So, on the last night, I decided to start bar-hopping earlier at 9pm.
First stop was the “seedy trio bars” (Golden Cock, New Nature Boy, Super A) near Tawan.
That alley was REALLY quiet, but Golden Cock was the easiest to locate (if you walk past Tawan and turn right).
There were 2 boys sitting outside Golden Cock having their dinner, and they seemed surprised when I asked to enter. Drink was only 150B (as there were no shows).
As expected, I was the only customer, and all eyes were on me. All 8 boys were trying to attract my attention on stage, winking and flexing (including the mamasan who was rather young and cute too). Felt kinda flattered yet intimidated.
