  1. Well - following the popular request - I am not really tuned to writing trip reports . Arrived 9th August for my second trip to Thailand this year. Liked the fact that masks are no longer mandated (almost) everywhere. Many people are wearing them anyway; nearly 100% (minus me) wear masks on BTS. I read the forum posts and thought I could use Senso and report back whether it is indeed open for business. Went to Senso 4.30 pm ish. There were 3 or 4 masseurs available. In fact none of them appealed a great deal to me lol (I knew our tastes vary). I ended up choosing someone anyway who led me to a room on 4th (?) storey (why they need to arrange a room so high up; not that I have a problem climbing up those stairs). The room and bed was spacious as I remembered from the pre-covid days. The boy didn't really know much of a massage but was eager to please and having a proper attitude in my words. One hour massage: 1100 b for the house and 1200 b min tip for the boy. This is it.
  2. The place was open - I visited the premise on 10th August.
  3. Looking forward to your daily update and hopefully you are not going to write the episodes only after you return to your home country. Looking for updates on bars, massage joints in particular. I am booked up to go to Bangkok in two weeks time but I might not eventually be going - can always reschedule.
  4. Could it have been 'up to you' bar? I also could not remember a show. Recall that I liked one of the waiters; but he was shy! Years later, the waiter boy became a mamasan in some Twilight bar; he may be still around; but it must have been 15+ years.
  5. Sir, you wrote very well. Share more stories of your current trip please.
  6. There are still limitations in the Taiwanese law. Dont assume you can just go to Taiwan and get married there. Agree nevertheless a progress. Vietnam being the next? Mmm ... my vote goes to Cambodia.
  7. Fully agree. You can just walk to the mouth of the soi and ask for an empty bus for 200 B. That was what I did when I stayed in Jomtien. I do not take motorcycles since a while ago; an accident after some drinks seems to be a very likely scenario nowadays so wont risk any more.
  8. Interesting experience by a447. But I thought generally tips are not expected in Hong Kong. Granted bellboys do expect small tips but certainly not in restaurants, (proper) bars, am I wrong? Of course nobody would be offended if you offer a tip.
  9. Agree the boys there are handsome. But not pretty enough for me (hence my preference for twinks). A lot of them can appear on front page of porn magazines. I just do not have enough 'feel' for them therefore my patronage has been limited.
  10. If I were the boss first off I would not charge an off fee. Of course TiT.
  11. Why the constant bashing of the Chinese ? We all know what/who you like. If you are ashamed of being one, change your color. Smokers have their rights as well.
  12. Nowadays I am not really uptodate with Soi Twilight activities; but thought X-size had a show at midnight (hotmale as well)? You might be able to catch the show if your flight arrives on time. Never quite liked the show at Screwboys - but that's just me.
  13. Wanted to add that I have travelled to Thailand in all the seasons / months (well over a few dozens over the last 15 years or so) and only learned that you ve better avoid Thailand religious days (as some bars are closed ... officially anyway) plus Songkran for me.
  14. lol. Still think you should go earlier/return later. The chances are you are to be seen by others you know back home some day (if not already!) as Malaysia is so close and convenient. Perhaps they do not really care. I was (and still am) in a similar situation and never bumped into anyone I know that makes difference (not that I am aware of anyway). I suppose people around me probably figure it out already by now (but I am not giving them the confirmation). Now I am used to it.
  15. Never used airport link. Where is the transfer point to Skytrain or MRT?
  16. Feeling like giving the boys some dignity And I am not a retiree yet hence could work harder at other times. Agree with aussie_. After a few days one gets bored with the same same thingy. Luckily I only visit once in a while which helps I suppose.
  17. Never encountered pee stops or any other stops with Toom taxi service. Not even once. But your miles may vary.
  18. I have used the following contact for years and last used it in Dec 2017 for Downtown BKK to Pattya to BKK Airport. email: toom39@msn.com Downtown BKK to Pattaya 1200 b/Pattaya to BKK A/P 1000b.
  19. Thought Nice Boys deserves its own thread. Maybe this is a repeat. Whenever I come to Pattaya I like to visit Nice Boys perhaps around 9.30 pm each night for an hour or so. I like the naked flesh and 'cocks on display' part of the joint. Occasionally some punters would offer a prize for whoever jacks off and comes first, which can be fun to watch (but not too much) and I typically do not contribute to the funds. I do enjoy groping a few cocks throughout the couple of hours I spend there. Would call the boy down and have some gropes and sent him back within seconds paying 100 baht each. But both parties must be willing; I mean I do not grope just any boy even if it is offered in the face (OK sometimes I did succumb in order not for him to lose face). Most boys are handsome by common standards. Not typical my type (lean cute twinks) so my offs had been few and far between. Drinks stand at 200 b/ beer or wine (Dec2017).
  20. So be it but I do hope they would grade some Thai foods / restaurants /shophouse foods.
  21. Excellent report. Do you still remember the number/name of the superstar?
  22. Did you mean no joiner fee? Crown Plaza is kind of a hassle, one needs to 'make a transit' on floor 23(?) which could be problematic for the shy. Not sure CP is considered 5 star; certainly the property on Rama 4 is tired.
  23. Understand the need for a 'proper' hotel. Try Holiday Inn brands, there are quite a few around town, not expensive generally. A few Marriots as well but have no personal experience bringing in guests. LeMeridien at Surawong is also a good, newish hotel; did not check the price this time of the year though.
  24. 2002 was about my first vacation trip to Pattaya (and Bangkok) as a sex tourist (as they say). Still could remember that I paid a tip of 1500 bht in a massage shop (Narcissus?). So not really different from today's rate. 800 bht was excessive for LT ? I am surprised.
