  1. If he wanted a short answer, he would have asked which Moonlight model you don't have any experience.
  2. He must be extremely childish then!
  3. So you are not affected because you only drink alcohol ?
  4. You put the money under the pillow? Not just on the bed or at the desk?
  5. If a study asks the question "Is the wood green" and finds out "The wood is not green", you cannot conclude "The trees are not green"!
  6. The meta analisis contains only 2 studies regarding the combo face masks + Covid, non of them in tightly controlled medical setting. Non of the 2 used pm95 masks Thats ridiculous to compare 2 completely different situations! If condoms only had 30% efficacy and there are no better means, some people would wear them, some would stop having sex with strangers and some would continue like before. On the other hand its difficult to stop using public transport and going to the doctor to avoid Covid, no? Also I cannot install an air cleaner at the doctors place. So only thing an individual can do is wearing a mask and reduce the odds to get infected, if he wants. Btw. only in rare circumstances I wear a mask nowadays. But not because of this study!
  7. Sad news! GMMTV suspends broadcast of Cherry Magic for international viewers on Youtube. https://www.instagram.com/gmmtv/p/C1HNd62rELZ/?img_index=2
  8. The point is, if you go to villages in Pakistan and hand them out masks and tell them to wear them, and it turns out it is not effective, you cannot conclude that masks are not effective, you can at best conclude that going to the village and telling them to wear masks is not effective (no big suprise to me). I know there were other measurements too, that can make the result only less reliable regarding masks. This study was part of the metaanalis you cited.
  9. How could they conclude that masks don't work, if that wasn't even the topic of the analisis??? The metaanalisis was about "mask wearing interventions". For example one study from Bangladesh: https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abi9069 "We cross-randomized mask promotion strategies at the village and household level, including cloth versus surgical masks. All intervention arms received free masks, information on the importance of masking, role modeling by community leaders, and in-person reminders for 8 weeks. The control group did not receive any interventions." "Mask-wearing and distancing were assessed through direct observation at least weekly at mosques, markets, the main entrance roads to villages, and tea stalls." From this to "masks dont work" (for an individual wearing the mask properly) there is a very long way.
  10. Is it really 100% tactile - no visual check of the goods?
  11. I will try one last time. From https://www.cochrane.org/news/statement-physical-interventions-interrupt-or-reduce-spread-respiratory-viruses-review The Cochrane Review 'Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses' was published in January 2023 and has been widely misinterpreted. Karla Soares-Weiser, Editor-in-Chief of the Cochrane Library, has responded on behalf of Cochrane: Many commentators have claimed that a recently-updated Cochrane Review shows that 'masks don't work', which is an inaccurate and misleading interpretation. It would be accurate to say that the review examined whether interventions to promote mask wearing help to slow the spread of respiratory viruses, and that the results were inconclusive. Given the limitations in the primary evidence, the review is not able to address the question of whether mask-wearing itself reduces people's risk of contracting or spreading respiratory viruses. 12. Would be interesting to know where the bags were ... in the overhead compartment or under the seat. On long haul flights I find it annoying to keep money passport etc. in the pockets or in some money belt ... last time I had it at the bottom of my backpack in the overhead compartment. Don't they have cameras in airplanes?
  13. Authors' conclusions [...] There is uncertainty about the effects of face masks. The low to moderate certainty of evidence means our confidence in the effect estimate is limited, and that the true effect may be different from the observed estimate of the effect. [...] There is a need for large, well‐designed RCTs addressing the effectiveness of many of these interventions in multiple settings and populations, as well as the impact of adherence on effectiveness, especially in those most at risk of ARIs.
  14. You forgot Chat-GPT-generated.
  15. A very simple conclusion. To really judge whats going on and wether the complaints are justified or not, we would need a lot more information. It is easy to transfer profits from one country to another one. How much taxes do "Chinese-run establishments" pay? Are they legal establishments? Do they employ people legally? And of course to be fair, we would need the same answers for "non Chinese-run establishments" and then compare. I guess it is not easy to get all the answers needed.
  16. On my last visit I learned: 500 Monday - Wednesday 600 (?) Thursday - Sunday something like that
  17. You must be joking! Alone the commercial videos we have to bear in dating apps nowadays that cannot be interruptet take more time than this Don't forget to add a lot of time for "does not answer", "does show a few hours late or does not show at all", "looks completely different" ...
  18. Had to look up the age: Off is 32 and Gun is 30. They both look incredibly young!
