  1. Live and learn.... found out today St Moritz in Medellin is really quiet on Sundays. It was hopping on Friday. But today only a few pretty chicos and one masculine guy were working. Fortunately the masculine guy is very good at his job. The three hottest guys there were civilians. They were holed up somewhere. But two came out to put on a BJ show in the bar area with one going down on his very tall, very good looking friend. I think they may have been northern Euros given how blonde the really tall one was and no sign of a suntan. Also found out the front desk has a street cam so you can see when your ride arrives. I went out to the deserted street a few minutes early and a guy appeared out of nowhere heading straight to me. I headed back in and the desk guy opened the door right away and the stranger followed me in. He left after a couple minutes of conversation. They wouldn't let me leave until we saw the Uber pull up. The desk guy and the masculine massage guy came out with me both shirtless and looking very macho. I was glad because the stranger was hanging out across the street.
  2. Definitely my experience living on the west coast of Canada, maybe because of the tragically high rates of alcoholism and drug addiction combined with homelessness. There's always been panhandlers and I've avoided sidewalk tables for years. There are people in my town who want the police to keep the street people out of sight. My feeling is we should always know they exist. And a guy did take my plate with leftovers at the Frankfurt train station once. I gave him money instead, but I guess that was wrong too, re drugs.
  3. Fercho's update.... apologies if this has already been reported. Checked in with Fercho's yesterday and it's using a different sex hotel. The Boston Real is sort of between the Bliss and St Moritz. A year ago when I asked to see the available tops I received photos of about 30 guys. Yesterday I got photos of about seven guys. Only one appealed and I don't think the guy that showed up was the one in the photo. The one that showed was probably younger and much better looking. Went by St Moritz late this afternoon and had a lot of fun with a couple of guys. One said it's been 10 days since his last cum and it may not have been a complete fabrication. He kept mentioning it to the other guy as if shocked it was me who released the flood, and it was indeed quite a tasty flood.
  4. I see a lot of straight porn with young Russian guys and others that seems to be shot in Prague. Some of them did a bit of gay porn when they were starting out. Has anybody ever heard of straight porn actors working in Prague doing gay for pay escort work?
  5. Thanks for this. I'm going on Tuesday and hadn't heard about it. Years ago I spent a few days in Bangkok getting visas for Laos and Vietnam. At the Lao office there was a list on the wall of what various nationalities had to pay for the visa. The highest fee was for Canadians. The others in the waiting room were all wanting to know Canada had done to piss off Laos. I had no idea. They don't like our "haughtiness?" Which I heard one American on a panel show describe once as an annoying trait in Canadians.
  6. https://www.vancouverpolicemuseum.ca/post/the-legend-of-mitzi-dupree Mitzi Dupree was already a legend in western Canada when I was in university in Victoria in the early 80s. I went with my roommates to see her show at one of the bars in Victoria. It was actually pretty entertaining watching her and the mixed group of young men mainly from the university and the navy base who packed the bar. The hormones were flowing freely and it was the only time I've been in a large group sexually aroused straight men all squished up against each other. One of the sailors in the back of the bar yelled, "I can smell you from here," at Mitzi..... but I think it was the other men he was smelling.
  7. I can see it for the States... but as a Canadian, I just can't see Canada becoming a destination for economic or other migrants from Brazil. People from hot countries hate Canadian winters and there aren't as many economic opportunities in Canada as there are in the States. It's also more expensive to live in Canada. I won't get into the cultural differences. Even people from the UK find Canada incredibly dull. (I used the UK because I don't think they should be casting stones. It's the land of my forefathers, but I'd rather go to almost any other country in Europe). Canada eliminated visas for Mexicans years ago and I don't think it's a big problem. Some Mexicans are flying to Canada and the illegally crossing the border in the US from there. But it's nothing compared to the illegal crossings on the southern border. On the other side, I don't see any benefit to Brazil to bring back the visa requirement except for childish pride.
  8. I was at Axel 2 in early December, had a guy from Thermas over in mid-afternoon. The guys at the desk didn't pay any attention. I should add I needed their help to deal with some urgent paperwork and they took care of it, so I was grateful for that.
  9. I think around 2010 I read a story about an entire hostel in Rio being taken over by a gang one night and all the guests robbed at gunpoint. A woman staying in the same hostel as me told me about being swarmed by a group of about 10 year old boys at a street party who ran their hands all over under her clothes looking for jewelry and cash. There was also a scandal about police officers being paid by businesses to kill young boys who were targeting tourists in the beach areas. So maybe things had changed for awhile, but maybe it just a reporter looking for an angle to make it sound like news.
  10. Instead of just sitting back and letting me blow them with no engagement from them, if I asked, they'd be more take charge and be the dominant masculine partner I was hoping for. It was a lot more enjoyable for me and I think they appreciated knowing what it was I was hoping for.
  11. Just spent a few days in Istanbul with several visits to Aquarius. I've always liked it because the men to me are super hot. But I've also regretted the uncomfortable cubicles and the not good value for money. I'm not sure what changed, but the guys had really upped their game since my last visit two years ago. I'm passive and they were much more aggressive than in the past. There weren't many younger guys there, it was mostly masculine from some low 20s into low 30s. As for escorts Hunqz and Rentmen have been blocked by the the government, but I think there are workarounds..
  12. Just came from Paragonya, nice place. Maybe more working guys than customers. As a passive who prefers masculine guys well into their 20s the guys seemed younger and not particularly masculine. The one guy who caught my eye was not interested in talking to me, maybe like Menaughty he was a customer. But I certainly got what I wanted and left contented. By coincidence I came here from Barcelona where I went to Thermas several times. As others say it is fun and lots of choice. The last time I was there was almost 20 years ago and the prices don't seem much different. That time I met the man of my dreams sexwise, a Romanian. This time it was an Albanian.
  13. The first time I went to Thermas many years ago, I started by going to the wrong sauna, maybe Casanova. There were lots of hot guys, but everytime I approached one I got a shake of the head. I was like wow, these guys are fussy. O
  14. Hello, thank you for the info. I'll be in Athens next month. I'd be the one wanting to give the BJ, did you get the impression that would also be on offer. Dave
  15. I'm curious about the belief that people are generally on a spectrum when it comes to sexual desire... so some men are happy to have gay sex in some situations, but generally are straight... while some others are truly repulsed.... and vice versa.... I remember an American co-worker in Europe telling us in a bar how much he liked licking another guy's asshole, but the thought of licking a women's vagina was disgusting...and people at a nearby table exchanging glances. It's been my impression straight guys in some countries are more willing to do male escorting than straight guys in other countries. I noticed that Canada did not make the top ten which was kind of surprising, but also not surprising. My feeling is Canadians are more conformist than some countries... ie the United States, and more reluctant to step out from what's considered normal, even if they would like to.
  16. My experience in Colombia was many of the guys didn't look that great in photos... but more than made up for that with their overall masculinity, sexiness, nice dicks and wanting to provide a satisfactory experience.
  17. Some really hot guys on Romeo there... but few responded, and most of those only wanted to know "how" I got their number.
  18. You are correct, there are editing programs that let you easily isolate the part you want to be public, and blur the rest.
  19. I am Canadian and this is not really my business, but I have concerns about retired Canadian citizens with dual citizenship who move permanently back to their other country where they can live much more comfortably on their government pension. I don't judge them for that, I'd probably do the same thing if I could. But still, it rankles. There are claims that ex-pat citizens return to Canada only to receive free medical treatment. Not sure about that since provinces require people to remain residents to get their government medical insurance. Unless somebody rats them though, if they have an address in Canada it's unlikely anybody in the system would ever know they live abroad.
  20. reminds me of the Gilmore Girls episode set at Spring Break in Florida.... "pardon me for thinking a banana eating contest was about eating bananas."
  21. I notice this in Canada with social media making a big deal about protests and anti-protests attended by about a dozen people attacking and defending trans people and all of them arguably there only to get attention on social media. And unfortunately the trans people have become the lightning rod for all the different subsets of people who hate homosexuals, immigrants, women.... basically anybody who they can blame for their own unsuccessful lives or insecurity. The great majority Canadians continue to dislike confrontation in society and prefer to mind their own business despite their own personal likes and dislikes.
  22. I don't know anything about the British justice system. I did cover a lot of court cases in Canada over a thirty year period as a news reporter. The terms like innocence and somebody being "cleared" are often used by the media when they should be used only rarely. You're right people are presumed innocent when the trial begins and they're still presumed innocent when the trial is over if they're not convicted. But presumed innocent and truly innocent are completely different. Presumed innocent is a legal term... the word innocent has a much broader meaning including what is actually the truth. That's because in Canadian courts in a not guilty verdict... the judge, or jury, usually find there was not enough evidence to convict the accused beyond a reasonable doubt. In the U.S. OJ was cleared in criminal court, but convicted in civil court. So is he innocent or not? I have seen on occasion a judge say at the end of the trial that he/she/they "accepts the evidence of the accused completely," or in its "entirety." That's the closest I've seen to somebody being cleared.
  23. I can understand that. Fellow Canadians can disagree with me, but I feel we have an aversion to seeing romantic intimate moments between couples in public, including kissing (ie more than just lips touching briefly). So much so that somebody sucking dick would cause less discomfort that a couple sucking each others tongues.
  24. Horrible murders happen every day in Canada, my home country. I wouldn't advise anybody to stay away because of that.
