Querido @floridarob, I am happy to report that this time the terrace is less open to others' curiosity, we turned off the lights, and did it under the light of the stars.
We went earlier on to 117 on Tuesday, and as usual I was disappointed. Not only the crowd was underwhelming, but besides water started to leak almost at the center of the indoors bar, and it was a lot of water, right when the show was about to start. We ran away.

I am staying in a small airbnb in Copanema, with a cozy and private terrace featuring a jacuzzi and a bbq pit. The host is an American Black guy, a former NFL player, and the coolest host I ever had, communication has been great. I may disappoint you, @floridarob, as this year terrace is more private and, besides, I've learned my lesson and will not behave as an entitled asshole.
The days have been great so far, fully sunny or cloudy but not a drop of rain. It is my first time in Ipanema, I have enjoyed a lot my walks around. I visited the Museu Histórico de Forte de Copacabana, probably one of the worst museums I have even been too. I did love to walk around the former fort itself.
On Sunday I did my first attempt to hire from a website, as I was not in the mood to go out to a sauna after a long exploration of my neighborhood. A gorgeous man, but we had no chemistry and my dick did not get hard not even when he sucked it. As I read (I think in CoM) that they are scamming clients overcharging us at check out, I was very careful to check my bill. It was spotless, and it would have been very tempting for a scammer to smuggle a false charge, as I had a lot of items. 6 caipirinhas, 1 jack Daniel, one red bull, one water, one cabin, one client ticket and one GP ticket, everything was slightly over 300 R.

Now I'll add in Colombia, going back next month, although not as organized or inexpensive as Brasil, had some big dicks and great sex, Medellin had some great international restaurants, Bogota had an acceptable Asian place that served some decent Thai dishes.... Bogota has more hotel options than Medellin, only 1 guy massaged me and was strong!
Colombia doesn't feel as commercial/transactional as Thailand/Brasil....Same as I've said about Indonesia, you're not seeing the guy go with other customers in front of your face, and the guys seemed to really want to have sex, not the "it's a job" or "another day at work" feeling.
@roughjock where are you from btw?I disagree on your assessment on Colombia's affordability. Paid sex may be slightly more expensive than in Brazil, but overall prices (food, lodging, living in general) are lower. Particularly if you are traveling from the US, the shorter flight added to the local low prices make Colombia much cheaper than Brazil.

Contrasting Medellín and Rio (Colombia and Brazil are very diverse, huge territories), the quality of sex and the kinds of boys are very similar, and I do not see much difference in the culture other than the spoken language and the side effects contrasts between a mediterranean and a beach city. The differences are rather in the "logistics".
We should open an entire new thread to discuss these differences and similarities.

I have never had problems bringing guests to my Airbnb. If you have any doubts, contact the host. Needless to say, it is of no one business what you and your guests do, when we rent we have the right to bring friends for diner.

Lucky you. I do not think your circumstances are representative of most US people. Of course, I may be wrong. Correct me if I am wrong, but you probably work and live in an environment where people are used to international contact. I work in a K-12 charter school in DC. Only 20% of our staff has WhatsApp on their phones. Only 60% of the families with kids enrolled use WhatsApp, not coincidently the immigrant families are 52% of our enrollment.

Making free texts and free phone calls back to friends and family in the USA -- or any other country? That's what WhatsApp is for, of course!
I wish WhatsApp was as popular in the US as it is abroad. When I am traveling, I am often teleworking, WhatsApp does not help.

If you reside in the US, make it simple. Get a Google Fi second phone. They are cheap and you get a flat rate with wifi and calls not only for Brazil but for mostly every single country you may travel to (or I may travel to).

Yeah! I usually spend less than 20' in the cabins, enough for talents' sampling. If they are bad, sometimes I left the cabin in 5 minutes. If they are good, I take them to my place with no clock watching.
But I do understand the frustration of those who do have full sex in there.
