  1. Others noted that I forgot the link https://www.cuandopasa.com/index.php?v=v46953j and then I found this site in English https://www.carnifest.com/the-flowers-festival-in-medellin-feria-de-las-flores-2022/. The Parade of Silleteros (Desfile de Silleteros) takes place on Monday, 15 August 2022 and marks the end of the celebrations. Like the Samba parade in Rio, you can purchase tickets for comfortable box seating to watch the parade or you can watch for free along the street. I tried to find the exact location (it can move around) and did not see anything published. Traditionally the parade makes its way from the Cerro Nutibara to Estadio Giradot along the Autopista Sur. Officially the Fería de las Flores begins on Monday. August 8 this year but the city will be jumping starting Saturday, 6 August as people from the neighbouring regions make their way to Medellin.
  2. Great question. The Fería de las Flores is an 8 day festival that takes place annually in Medellín, generally during the first two weeks of August. It is the most important cultural event in Medellin and was greatly missed during Covid. This year it takes place August 7-15, 2022. Here is a local listing (in spanish) of the major events During the festival there are literally hundreds of free events across the city, from concerts, to live shows, fireworks and car shows, and the main event, the parade of Silleteros. These are elaborate floral displays carried by a single person that can weigh up to 70kg. Some examples below. The awards for the week are presented at the Estadio Giradot, the main fútbol stadium in Laureles in one of few paid entry events. So to answer your question about horny boys -- the city is practically a non-stop party for over a week. Every bar and club will be hosting special events as la Fería de las Flores takes over the city. Think of Rio in the week leading up to Carnival. There are plenty of fresh faces and boys that normally do not go outside of their home neighbourhood. Many Colombians travel to the festival as well. So there are plenty of opportunities to meet and hook up during this festival. I will be in Medellin for La Fería as this year marks the return to street parties and public events like the parade since the pandemic began. It is certain to be a good time.
  3. I was chatting with friend (and former model) about an upcoming trip and I should have noted this: the Ultra Wellness Center gym at the Charlee Hotel in is the local gym of choice for many of the cam models that are also escorting because of the tourists in the area. You may want to book a session there to check out who is on offer these days. https://www.thecharlee.com/es/espacios/ultra-gym/
  4. Congrats -- enjoy the city of eternal spring. The CB and F4F guys that are active escorts will generally appear in the apps. As new face in town, you are certain to get attention, so I would start there. Actually meeting the cam boys that work from the Medellin studios is a process. There are regular private parties that take place where performers will appear to earn extra cash, but you need to be plugged in (and trusted) to gain access. Ask around at Club Oráculo or Bar Chiquita as the owner is very much involved in the local circuit. Good luck!

  6. Cinco estrellas por el uso de "perrear". Meurto de risas This is the funniest of spanish expressions and I am laughing my ass off while reading this.

  10. Just an FYI - Air Canada and other Star Alliance airlines are using Bogotá as their South American hub. My last flight to Bogotá was probably 25% full of passengers continuing on to Sao Paulo. You could look into that, the Air Canada flight from Montreal to Bogotá is daily...but the arrival time at 3:30am is a killer. Even with the late arrival, customs took 45 minutes and I arrived at my hotel at 5:00am. Something to consider if you are looking at options.
  11. Delicioso todo! Frisby reminds of me of the original Popeye's Chicken back in the 80's when they made amazing fried chicken. At my age I can manage a once-a-year cheat meal, but I promise it is worth it Me encanta como los chichos cuidan de tí. Leonardo is a must-see in Medellín for me -- a Top 10 attraction and a charming young man.
  12. La Setenta!! Now I am really missing Medalló. BTW it is a very Colombian thing -- the correct way to say no is a single "Gracias" and the vendor moves on. Simple and civilized.
  13. You should also know that you can get it delivered through Rappi, along with poppers and viagra. Seriously.
  14. Gracias hermano por compartir esas historias con nosotros.¡Dale!
  15. Claro, se encuenta esa situación con frecuencia en Medalló. Chicos straight y gay que hagan videos o webcam cómo trabajo exigen que se sepa que no sean scort
  16. OMG las Chivas! Well if listening to blaring reggaeton music and drinking rum non-stop with a bunch of strangers is your thing, then I guess you should go for it! You will see Chivas in the streets of El Poblado and Laureles every evening but particularly on the weekend. If I was back in my twenties I might be tempted, but those days have passed. Meant to add that Sundays at Oráculo used to be strippers, but the "star" (Latinfit1 on Instagram) is now living in Barcelona so not sure if they are still doing those shows. There was only one strip show when I was in Medellin (Jan-Feb) so the schedule may have changed.
  17. Today being Sunday is Ciclovia where many major roads will be closed to all traffic so cyclists, runners and even walkers can take over the streets of the city. The major streets like Avenida Las Palmas, Cra 43A from Poblado to Oriental, and Avenida 33 in Belen will have have limited traffic to open up the city. Medellin is famous for the green parks found around Laureles and El Poblado, which is one reason those neighbourhoods are so popular. Today most parks will be filled with families out for the day and you can catch many pick up fútbol games happening around the city. I will also send a list of the best cafés around the city -- Medellín has a growing coffee culture scene featuring the best beans from the nearby Eje Cafetero. I encourage you to get out and walk the city as much as you can to get to know the layout and clusters of commercial areas. The area north of the Giradot stadium, particularly on games days, and the areas west of estación Santa Lucía are where you are more likely to be mugged for phone/wallet/both after dark. The rest of Laureles is very safe and beautiful and green. You will be fine. Best drag shows would be either Oráculo (Cra38 at Clle10) in Poblado on Friday or Purple (Avendia 33 at Cra 78) in Laureles on a Saturday. Check out what is happening at Oráculo because then you have Bar Chiquita around the corner and the open-air bars on Cra 38 (Donde Aquellos, etc) to visit afterwards. I do need to update the club listing for Medellín...
  18. I hope you have an amazing trip hermano. I am certain you will be charmed by the friendly Paisas, who love to show off their region and culture. You will note that they use many old spanish language traditions -- using the formal Don y Doña when greeting each other, the use of parce-parcero (to excess), and the use of regalar in the sense of "share with me" or "I would like to order..." You will get used to it eventually. Safe travels.
  19. Agreed, the old route though Rio Negro was brutal -- many taxi drivers would not even do the trip after sunset. Fortunately the new tunnel fixes that problem and the trip is smooth as can be. The old Olaya Herrera (EOH) airport in the city still functions as a regional hub and you can get flights from there to just about everywhere else in the country -- except Cartagena! Not sure why, but every time I search, that is not available. Fortunately there are plenty of options to fly to Santa Marta, Cali, Manizales, Pereira, Quibdo, shall I go on? That airport is still very much functioning and a good option for regional flights.
  20. Desafortunadamente que no. Work and renovations have me stuck in Canada until May when I am spending the long weekend in Havana. So my Medellín trip will have to wait until la Feria de las flores in August.
  21. We met through mutual friends that are former Flirt4Free models and know the scene. I just re-read that he has done scenes of BiLatin Men, which makes sense. Super energy and great sense of humour. ¡Disfrútate mucho!
  22. Costeño Vergon -- is a part of friend group in Cartagena. I should not be giving out government names so scratch that.
  23. Samaná peninsula is a fascinating part of the country, best known for the whales that come each year (Jan-April) to give birth and the famous beaches along the north Atlantic shore. Playa Rincón is located in Samaná https://www.roughguides.com/dominican-republic/the-samana-peninsula/ There is some amazing history here as well. There are a number of restaurants, bars and businesses in the town where you can meet locals.
  24. Alejo is fluent in English and very friendly -- almost to a fault. Great dick and knows how to use it. Randy Junior was too good to pass up and he was a hit at the OS Mirador club when we went -- did I just give away too much info? Honestly he was sexual from start to end which is exactly what I paid for -- also an insatiable bottom. Andrês I consider a friend and a very decent person. Should I state here that I highly recommend? On the question of payment, that is a Colombian thing. For some that is business. You will still encounter others for whom this is una verguenza. So steer yourself accordingly.
  25. Many thanks for posting. So this location is basically wedged between Fugoo bar and the Apolo Sauna? Super interesting for this neighborhood. Curious to know if this is Anthony from Monaga.net that is the proprietor? Cause that makes it worth the flight, IMO.
