  1. Well from my experience lots will have changed by December. But I visit often so can update before your trip. Gay bars Toolbox - just reopened, has shirtless dancers, fun place POC - great little bar, open late, dancers every night, drag queens fri and sat, great staff, very welcoming Blue Chilli - recently moved, not tried the new venue, drag shows, big crowds Heart of Darkness - drag shows, lots of gay guys there but it’s really touristy and not my favourite place but is open really late like 5am sometimes Space Hair - really hot waiters, hands everywhere! Hotels There are 3 gay ones, and 2 are really well priced, the Birdcage and Pride resort. The Birdcage are fine with guests they just have to leave their id at reception if they are locals. There’s also Arthur and Paul’s, it’s really lovely but had a recent price increase. Saunas and massage I think LOVE is the only sauna that would be like a gay sauna in other countries, but I didn’t enjoy my experience there at all. The host or manager was super friendly but it was just not clean. The other places are all massage places only but I found them all to be quite nice environments, not sleazy and fairly easy to find etc. Hather Khmer massage being the most fancy, always lots of guys to choose from if you want a massage and always clean. Then there’s ones called Man Massage World, Ahram massage, Chanak spa, Paradise massage, Ganesh. They all have telegram so perhaps get that before you come and you can make appointments or just show up and see who is there. Facebook is still very popular here so you can find the place on Facebook and it will almost always have there telegram channel linked
  2. What’s the name of the cinema near Kotsia? I also picked up an Egyptian guy at Victoria once and he was the only guy to steal from me, he must of been a pro because I was in the bathroom for less than a minute and my camera lens had gone.
  3. I’ve just check and Google says Fantastico is permanently closed, hope it’s not true. It does have a recent review a month ago. It closed for a few years one years back so maybe it’s left over from that? I hope it’s still going, something about Samis I don’t like, maybe there are just too many straight guys running the place.
  4. Don’t forget Fantastico. Was open this last summer when I went. Around the corner from Sami’s but on a much more open street. Also Maxim bar, which used to be the old Test Me. There is also another one in the area where the guys go, the owner of Fantastico told me about it but the name escapes me. There’s a drag queen behind the bar, super welcoming and friendly.
  5. I’m working from Piraeus at the moment, been here a month. Bars and cinemas are super quiet. Seems to be lots more Turkish, Kurdish and Egyptians here. I find it fascinating that the Egyptians in the bars are almost always the most impolite and demanding. I don’t mean to generalise. I know lots of lovely Egyptians. But here they are demanding, asking for money even when you’ve given a polite no. There are apparently 2 new hustler bars around Samis but I can’t find where they are or the names, maybe a local can help.
  6. I’ve just spent a week there but there are big changes. Kosmopolit cinema was closed the whole time, the bars were nearly empty and even Omonia sq was nearly empty. I hope Greece recovers, used to be the horniest place in Europe.
