Mexico City seems the easy choice but I was just listening to a story about how horrible the water situation is there (that it's undrinkable was a given, that it's often unavailable except to the rich with cisterns was new... and that they can't maintain pressure, guess it's good nobody tries to drink it!) is a small reservation (of course with enough digging you can find a negative about anywhere).

Don't believe everything you hear or read.  If you visit Mexico City you will have enough water to drink (bottled, just like the locals), and shower with.  No widespread shortages .. for anyone.  Periodic reductions in the dry season, yes.  But trucks bring water into the hotels, apartments and restaurants.  You'll need some ability to speak / understand Spanish, though.  I've lived in the city, and I travel there once or twice yearly ... including March this year.  Is it the right stop for you?  I don't know. It's an incredible city, though.

    Peso is 16.70 to 1 USD////

Peso is stronger and nothing has decreased in price....so not getting nearly as much for the dollar as before, peso was 16.40 the other day and supposedly going to get stronger....

Yes.  However, traveling from the USA - airfares are less to Mexico from LA, hotels can be reasonably priced ... and meals are a bargain IMO.  Now, you can travel first-class and pay a premium.  I don't travel at that level, though.

it's so vague.  I've put it off so long and now I'm just like is there an easy button to just do it, whatever it is!?  So also open agent recommendations/etc.

Have a passport, probably leaving from LAX.

Mexico will be the least expensive to visit, given your departure point.  We're entering the Summer travel season when airfares, typically, are higher.

Certainly, a lot of culture and things to see / do in Mexico ... especially so if you speak Spanish.  Last week I returned from 10-days travel in Mexico.  However, unless you're on the youngish side of life and/or aren't too picky with escorts that may be available ... I don't think Mexico is a good place for sexcapades (I'm 70+).

I don't think we know what kind / types of guys you are attracted to - if there is a specific type - or your age.  When I think of a trip where I can have the opportunity for cultural adventures mixed with plentiful opportunities for sex - at my age - I immediately think of these three destinations (departing from Florida):  Brazil, Colombia and to a lesser extent (culturally) the Dominican Republic.

that may be your problem. English is not my first language and I speak with heavy accent , I noticed very often that  people in the same situation understand me better than native English speakers.

In Thailand is handy to know that 5 is "ha"' so "ha, ha' is not only laugh but also may mean 55.

Someone can also type the numbers "55" onto the Notes application on a smart phone, or simply write the numbers on a piece of paper.  Show either to the Mamasan.  Or, use the voice translator.

Yikes. From what I've seen from looney-tunes HOA fees on NYC condos, they should easily be able to afford concierges. This fairly modest condo has a monthly HOA dues of $3672. If it's not going to pay for staff to service the residents of the building, I wonder where all of those $$$$ go. I had a larger townhouse in the SF Bay Area, any my homeowner dues were less than 10% of that, and for that our association payed for our private paved roads, multiple tennis courts, 3 swimming pools, extensive landscaping, and a clubhouse. Of course, the staffing in the office was only part-time, 16 hours per week, but no one expected full-time services with those dues. I wonder where those NYC HOA due go.

You've selected an extreme example, and not for a condominium monthly maintenance fee ... but it's a co-operative.  In Co-ops your monthly fee includes a proportionate share of the whole building (not just your unit square footage) annual real estate taxes and other fees.  This particular co-op is either too high-priced for the market or there are problems with it ... because it's been on the market 130 days.  Co-ops are typically more full-service than apartment buildings, condo buildings, etc.

Don't let it discourage you. All experiences--good and bad--are valuable learning opportunities.

Interaction, body language and the unknown affects how the money boys react to and accept us.  I don't think it's as easy as flipping a switch and the performance is the same with whomever they go home with.

For example - I don't own a car - but when I first started settling into my condo - I had to make many big purchases and rent special Bolt vans - SUVs to get these purchases home.  I would struggle to get them out of the Bolt when it arrived to the View Talay lobby and amazingly, many from the condo security team would run towards me to help me unload these large boxes and then assist me with the freight elevator and bring them into my condo room - all for free - and with a BIG smile as they are always happy to see you return home.  Of course I tipped them all.

Nothing is provided for, or done for "free".  Nothing.

You are right to be upset. You are still the  client, and if he wants your business,  he needs to react. Just sack him, and tell him why. I am semi retired, but just answered an enquiry  from a client  while I was on holiday in Thailand. When I got home, I answered another query at 11.30 pm, within 10 minutes.

Obviously, it wasn't a good relationship in the first place.  Where I live in the USA, you change insurance agents / companies and your rates skyrocket.  Patience is a virtue.

  9. The girl who was kidnaped was murdered.

I'm in Mexico City this week and there is much video of the vigilantes doling-out justice as they deem it proper.  Such acts of instant justice are not unusual in Mexico.  Sometimes the accused who is beaten or killed was actually innocent.  I remember one case where plain clothed police were pursuing a criminal who shouted the men chasing him were child abductors.  One police officer was beaten to one inch of his life, so to speak, and the true criminal - suspected for child abduction himself- escaped.  We see acts like this worldwide in communities with low education and/or where confidence in the police doesn't exist.  No different than in the "old west" in the USA when people were hanged for assumed criminal activity ... and without a trial.

I am 50 and slim. In Medellin sauna muscled twinks with big dicks politely refused my approach, but in Cali sauna they were happy. Its just coincidence and luck. If you are in 20s, you are lion king of sauna; but if in 50s, more of a dog, who has to sniff few asses before you find your match. As always, initiative brings results (but not in a creepy way).

Just wait until you reach 75!

57% of voters say they approve of the job Trump did as president

a-447:  155.5 million people cast a ballot in the 2020 Presidential election.  Biden beat Trump easily.  Americans spoke, loudly:  more than 81 million people chose Biden, rather than Trump.

"The February Harvard CAPS / Harris poll survey was conducted online within the United States on February 21-22, 2024, among 2,022 registered voters by The Harris Poll and HarrisX."

Most people don't respond to polling, when asked.  In this instance, the equivalent of fewer than 0.0015% of the number of persons who casted a ballot in 2022 responded to this one.  This and most other polling, is not worth the paper it's written on.

Remember:  Responding to trolls only encourages them.

  12. There are three principal individuals trolling these political discussions, why give them airtime / bandwidth?  One, in particular, preys on the gay community here to earn an income at other businesses and is the most despicable of the trolls.  Boycott that business, ignore the three trolls by denying them response time. Stop responding.

  13. Partial List of Trump’s failed businesses:

    2. Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino (Bankruptcy)

    3. Plaza Hotel (Bankruptcy)

    4. Trump Castle Hotel and Casino (Bankruptcy)

    5. Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts (Bankruptcy)

  14. Not feeding the troll is the solution to the endless hateful postings.  Deny the troll the fuel of responses, to which he will respond to ... is the best course of action.  The same is true for the troll on other discussions who preys upon the gay community promoting tour guides yet spews lie after lie.  Just say no, deny the fuel and the trolls are likely to go away.

Wrong.  Though defeated by Joe Biden by a 7 million vote margin of victory, 74 million Americans voted for Donald Trump in 2020.  The poorly educated do vote in the USA.
