@jason1975It certainly wouldn't be a bad decision. The only thing I would say is that most of the guys are quite heavily tattooed, which I don't mind at all. I think my favorite of the show was the celebration of Issan culture by having guys wear very very short versions of traditional sarongs, to the point where they were just obscene mini skirts. Essentially, this was a creative twist on a big cock shows and my favorite I've ever seen. Traditional music was played followed by participants going through the audience to collect tips, with good firm gropes being encouraged.

The patrons there who do have money are racking up tons of fees for bottle service, so that's one way. Also, these patrons will not just invite one guy to drink. They will often get 4 or 5. I think a big part of its survival is that it's open until so late and is essentially the main gay after-party location. As I left around 2, I wouldn't be surprised if the party picked up more at 3 or 4 especially as it seems the men there don't want to be offed as they could make more money being there.

After seeing the packed house at Boys Boys Boys last night, it reminded me that New Twilight will definitely need to amp up the sexiness of their shows. Even though BBB did have some ladyboy performances, at least half had eye candy backup dancers. BBB has got the formula right...just give us boys being sexy. That's why it's called sexy boy show. Most performances had visible cocks and fake cumming (I paid careful attention to where sprays were coming from, and they were not from the usual location.) And the B Boy show is high energy fun. I can see why it was packed, though the music is too loud to the point where I won't be offing a guy from there. I now truly understand what @vinapu means.

I didn't make it tonight but it's certainly on the agenda for tomorrow. Waiters at Boyztown bars did attribute Boyztown being empty tonight to the Jomtien pride party. Despite all that, Boys Boys Boys was packed tonight for the show.

@readerThis trip I'm currently on is showing me that I feel quite the same. I think there will be more separation down the line between where Chinese and women go (the model bars) versus the rest of us. I just don't think I'm missing out anymore by not going to Moonlight or Jupiter this trip. I'm looking forward to more Tawan time and exploring the host bar scene.

Update: guy I drank with last night is still evasive about politely worded inquiry on how to meet him after work. Inquiry was met with same simple Line sticker with no semantic value. Good questions @12is12 Taking care includes light physical. I was able to feel pecs and washboard abs, but I got the impression that trying to inspect manhood was a no no. There was no naughtiness to be seen. While I'm sure pecks on the cheek would be acceptable, the guy will most likely not initiate. I'm sure that when they learn about the job, they are told they only need to drink with customers. As far as asking for Line ID, I imagine their boilerplate I take care of you line is forgotten once work hours are over. I'm still waiting on confirmation of this. If I had to guess, there are probably a percentage of guys there who make a decent amount where going with customers is not necessary, but with some investigation, a few can be found who are willing to do some special gigs when not working. .

Some interesting facts to confirm after just returning from this venue: - Bar off fee does exist, but it's set at 2000THB to offset lost earnings of drinks. No, this off fee does not include tip. I did not have any tip negotiation conversations tonight. - On the other hand, it does seem like they are given a script to follow. If a customer asks about taking back to hotel, they're supposed to say, "I take good care of you here," as a polite deflection. I think off fee only is discussed by rather persistent customers. - It's completely acceptable to get the Line ID of a guy you buy a drink for. - Lots of guys on offer to drink with, some cute guys in shirts and some twunky shirtless guys. - Sexy boy part of show was indeed sexy with way more peeks under the towel than I'd ever seen at other towel dance venues. However, it was abysmally short as it was limited to towel show and soda water show. - Soda water show is definitely sexy and I had no hesitation to buy two bottles for a total of 100THB in order to see the guy of my night gyrate and have his appendage become more visible with each bottle of water that traveled down his chiseled chest and sexy abdomen. He sold the fantasy completely. Money well spent for me, though I know others might disagree. - I was hesitant to believe that they could actually stay open until 4am. However, once you exit the main venue and go into the reception area, all the lights are off and you would be hard pressed to know any business activity was happening inside. Great design choice on their part. - There are at least two guys there currently who can speak good English...one Thai and one Cambodian. There are pictures of the Cambodian on Facebook...chiseled defined abs and curly hair. Still hot but less intimidating than in pictures. Sweet guy. - To have a drink with a guy for about an hour, you will have to pay 250THB. There is no begging for tips to be found from any of the staff. - Music volume levels become deafening as night passes on. Abominably hard to carry on conversation. - They try to bleed you dry by not including the cost of mixers and ice into bottle service. You need to be insistent that they stop bringing mixers because they do it without you asking to get as many baht out of you as possible. This soiled the experience a bit. - Show was quoted as starting at midnight, but in reality was 12:30. Sexy boy show quoted as being at 1, but it was also delayed. Their logic is that the other boy bars close at midnight, so they wait for those customers to leave other bars and come to Dragon. Overall, I'm torn. A few stunning guys there made the experience worth it, but a lot of the other faults make it a near complete skip. The three reasons I'll go back are: 1. I didn't finish my bottle of Black Label, and I didn't feel like bringing it back to my hotel. No corkage fee if bottle is kept on site. 2. One guy who I invited to drink and who performed in both segments of the sexy show was charming, though not nearly as much so as guys from Tawan. Those guys are pros who know how to pull at the heartstrings. Despite that, he's sweet enough and easy enough on the eyes that I will suffer the negatives just to see him again. Note: I'm still waiting on a response to my Line message to him on whether it's possible to meet him when he's not working. 3. Soda water show is perfect for a guy like me who likes interactive shows and a little left to the imagination.

Closest I've been to executing it is with the Moonlight models dancing in the crowd. I was able to get a 100 in Mr. Nut's waistband. What can we call the move where you put 100 in a guy's jockstrap and then smack him on the butt?

I arrived at BKK Swampy around 5:30pm on Tuesday and experienced no congestion at immigration even with having to fill the form out. The only area that looked a little backed up was Visa on Arrival area. However, I was in the second row on my flight and walk at a fairly brisk pace, so I may have been able to avoid congestion caused by my flight.

Good advice overall. I'm a pretty sensitive guy and it's hard for me to process disappointment from guy who won't be getting the off that night, especially if it's one who has given great service before. I have to remind myself I'm not indebted to them in any way, no matter how enticing the puppy dog eyes can be. As with everything, it seems communication is the key. In a recent development, the PM is urging police to clamp down on the 12am closing time citing fears of clusters emerging. Yet, since entertainment venues have been open on June 1st, overall cases in the country have dropped. Let's hope the people meeting next week who are deciding to extend until 2am actually look at the data of venues being open rather than making fear-based decisions.

Me: Been to BKK, Going to Pattaya 1st time this week. When I look at the bars in Pattaya and what they put on social media, I just don't get the same excitement as seeing the posts from Moonlight and Jupiter. Eye candy in the planning process is a major selling point. I will say that Dragon Man Club is the exception, and this might be the place that will bring me back time and time again to Pattaya. However, that's not to say there aren't stunners in Pattaya. It could just be that bars in BKK have to be more adept at social media due to higher rent and overhead. As you mentioned, though, Pattaya does seem to be more friendly, and I think that might have a powerful effect on me. Being a vers man myself, I imagine that the twink empire of Pattaya will just put me more in the mood to express my top side, whereas Bangkok is where the bottom loves to come out. I do know there are plenty of twinks who top, though, so please excuse the generalization. As I'm in my 30s and am a white foreigner living in a SE Asia country that's not Singapore (the rules are a bit different there), I'll be honest that it's VERY easy to find free hook-ups with twinks, so that's another benefit of Bangkok. (Clarity: I might not love the idea of paying to off twinks when I can just as easily have fun free encounters with local guys who are just as handsome and speak English.)
