  1. Pete, there you go using Western logic again. You are right. There are now many bars that also charge 20 baht more for a boys drink than ours. I am OK with this As LONG As the boy gets that money. I am also OK with paying a higher off for some bars if the boys get some of that as well. Regardless of what we think, these guys have a hard job and deserve every baht they get. I am thrilled when I know a bar is taking car of them.
  2. My doctor friend here in Pattaya thought the raise in age to 25 was crazy. He suggested that they also make a law that limits Farangs to one visit to McDonalds per visit to the Kingdom. Again not easy to enforce but healthy.
  3. A series of unfortunate accidents for sure. Welcome back Sawatdee! May I suggest to anyone who owns names to put them on autorenew. This will save you much hassle and headache. Many names are lost this same way. Last year the name Aida.com died a similar death. It went to auction and to the highest bidder. It went for a large amount of money. The other option is to renew for longer periods of time. Most renewals now are around 10 USD per year. Renew for 5 years for only 50 USD and you don't have to think about it again for 5 years.
  4. Hello. Yes, I can tell you. The post is now active again with full text. However, you posted an image. That image had pubic hair showing. The censors banned us for that once before and we are careful not to let that on the site. My apologies. The guy was hot though. If you send it to me via e-mail, gaythailand@gmail.com I'll raise his bathing suit a bit and repost.
  5. Hey Buddy, Did you miss the e-mail about Deej and Rock, a midget, 2 muscle boys, a twink, 4 trannies, a clown and a hampster? My oh my. You should have subscribed to the e-mail list.
  6. > What goes around usually comes >around, in my experience. > >I dislike hearing the word karma but I suppose I believe in it >anyway. I believe in that totally. I have been in Thailand in high season when all the farangs that live here get pissed that all the boys are not giving them attention but giving it to the short time visitors. Why? The rest of the year, they don't pay as well. And, look, it is business. One can't be offended when someone is in business trying to make the money they need. I have never had that problem with boys anywhere as I normally tip over what most do anyway so I always have an abundance of friendlieness. I believe in the old saying from Chicago, "if you do something for mama, mama do something for you." It does come back 10 fold. IMHO
  7. >I'll see you an Oz, and raise you an Andre and a bevy of >ladyboys. > >Wouldn't that be a time? :+ > >(Sorry, forgot you don't do ladyboys. Oz and I will keep them >entertained while you and Andre...) Adam, happy to help out with the ladyboys. But, can't we keep Andre as well for even more entertainment?
  8. Low Season in Thailand starts to pick up and the smell of high season is on the tip of the nose. There is much action all over Thailand. In Pattaya, there are more boys working the bars than you will ever been able to see in a lifetime. The bars in Sunee have started to do shows but be wary of anyone without an ID card and be smart. Boyztown has been up and down with some nights amazing and some nights just dead. The one bar that seems to have a great group all the time is Wild West Boys. They have a bit of everything in there. They also have a fun show. BoyzBoyzBoyz has its usual taste of muscle boys and they seem to keep stacking them in. Personally, I love Cayuga. It is full of life and energy and has some sexy guys there. The best mamasan in Pattaya is at Dynamite. Ask for Rose and she will take good care of you. Throb/Splash recently sold and the new owners are being introduced at the Halloween party. I hope that does not mean that they are going to be horrific. In Sunee Plaza, Jimm Jimmy James has the best selection of guys and the best-run bar. Crazy Dragon still gets along great with it table top dances and open-air briefs. I will have to say that I enjoy it there but some nights are much better than others. Why? Many of the boys are freelancers. If they don’t have a lot of customers there they don’t stay long. As high season picks up, they will get more and more boys working. The new Clubber compound is great with a gogo bar that is VERY hands on, a beer bar with a nice pool table and a good German restaurant. Monty’s Pool is now closed and no date on when someone else will take it over. Jomptien Beach area is up and coming. They don’t have gogo bars but there are always boys galore. The new restaurants are also making it a very hip place. On the way to Jomptien there are two very high-end places that are worth trying if you don’t mind paying American prices. Manhattan’s Steak House has the best steak I have had in Thailand and the Mata Hari is excellent as well. As always, Bruno’s has a great menu and is always consistent. In Jomptien Complex, try the Stone Grill and Monty’s Enchanted Hut. Both are great. There is a new 92-story condo coming to Pattaya and being built as the world’s tallest residential complex. I am not sure if it will get built or not but the prices are crazy there and a 3 bedroom is almost 1millioin USD. I saw a friends unit just finished at View Talay 5 and it is beautiful. It has an amazing balcony overlooking the ocean and the best views in Pattaya. For those of you who like the nightlife, a new place I have really enjoyed is JJ’s Pub in Soi Day/Night. It is mostly Thai customers but a few Farangs. They have a great show and it is a lot of fun. Hollywood and Xcite are still in commission and going strong. I was in Bangkok a few weeks back and had a good time. But, the drinks at many bars are 270 bath and offs are 400 bath. I much prefer the lower prices of Pattaya and Chiang Mai and Phuket. There are so many boys coming into town on a daily basis. I hope those of you that head there for the winter have a fabulous time. Don’t let he coup stop you. This is still the most amazing place to visit.
  9. Welcome. I see your 2nd post is a doozie. Any freedom? Of course. Read over the board for the past few months. We delete very little but ask that you follow our Message Board Policy. How boring? Just because something is not a free for all, doesn't make it boring. Imagine if you walked into a gogo bar and it was the boys only got on stage when they wanted and only worked when they wanted and only wore the clothes they wanted. Perhaps not boring but certaintly a better way was found. Most people don't come to these board to listen to a few people bicker back and forth with themselves. Most are looking for information. Most are here for a sense of common ground that the community offers. We all love Thailand. We want to promote others to come here and enjoy in the beauty that is offered here. I for one am not on any board to listen to a few guys have a pissing contest.
  10. Let me add, I don't know what happened at the other site. All are welcome here. We have said that in the past and we will say that now. All we ask is that you play by our rules. We strive for a good site that gives useful information. We are not interested in personal attacks and bickering back and forth. There are still other sites one can go to for that. I hope that ElephantSpike is able to get the name together and the site is live again very soon. I am sure it is still possible if it is his desire.

    Party Time

I hope the new government will get a truer grasph of what the people need and want. I have always hated that in the USA someone can be 18 and go to war but have to be 21 to drink. It makes no sense to me at all.
  12. LOL. You forget. We have a secret weapon. GAYBUTTON to the rescue!
  13. It looks like the name did expire. In the states at least, you are taken to a page that many get when the registrar takes over the name. I am not sure this is the case. However, any domain name that gets traffic has value in the long run for a page the directs traffic elsewhere. If the name was not renewed by ElephantSpike, the name is gone for good. I hope he did renew. Most registrars sent out notices 30 and 60 days before a name expires and then the week and day of. I have not been to the board of late and not sure if he asked for help or not. I also do now know whether he has been posting or not. I hope he is OK and all is well with him. If someone hears from him, please let us know that he is OK.
  14. The domain name expired Oct 16, 2006. Most registrars give a 30 day grace period for the owner to renew. Hopefully, Elephant will respond to their e-mails for renewal.
  15. I always tip for good service. In many places, I tip a higher percentage than in the USA. For example, if a guy in NYC charges 300, I may tip 20-40 depending on the quality of the experience. In Brazil, I often tip double what the actual rate is in the sauna. In Thailand, I tip about 400 bath more than most. In Canada, I have a regular guy I have seen for years, he charges 100 CND. I have always given him 200 as he is amazing and always makes me happy. If someone works for an agency, I do tip a bit more. If I meet a boy in a sauna, I do tip a bit more. If they spend time with me longer than they expcected, I tip a bit more. There are many variables to tipping. These guys work hard for the money and if they are top notch, they should be treated accordingly. IMHO
  16. In a post that was removed today, there was a back and forth exchange between 2 posters. In less than one day, it has over 500 views. I guess that goes to show what people really like to read. Ever wondered why the tabloids make so much money? People read them. Luckily, we are not interested in tabloid journalism here. Keep it nice boys!
  17. I am not sure if it helps, but when we were there this week, they were painting over the worn out slides. Now they are looking beautiful. I doubt you would even be able to tell they were worn.

  19. APIRADEE TREERUTKUARKUL Health authorities have stepped up measures to curb alcohol consumption among youth by moving up the minimum legal age of buyers from 18 to 25 years. Narong Sahamethapat, deputy chief of the Disease Control Department, said yesterday that the idea was proposed by a network of parents early this year during a public hearing of a draft bill to control alcoholic drinks. The measure to raise the legal minimum age of buyers is part of a national campaign to save Thai youth from alcohol abuse, he said, adding that it has already been incorporated into Article 28 of the draft. Under the bill, the following areas will be designated as alcohol-free zones _ temples, state offices, schools, universities and other places of education. Also, the authorities plan to declare an alcohol-free day when alcohol sales and promotional activities are prohibited. Public Health Minister Mongkol na Songkhla said earlier that a ban on alcohol advertising in all forms of media will be announced on Monday, while the draft alcohol product control bill will be proposed to the cabinet and the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) for approval as soon as possible. If approved, it will be the country's first law that gives health officials comprehensive power to tackle all alcohol-related issues, similar to the Tobacco Control Law. A study conducted this year by the National Economic and Social Development Board found the number of young drinkers, aged 15-24, has increased from 21.6% to 23.5%. It also found that Thais started drinking at a younger age, with almost 50% of new drinkers aged between 15-19 years old. Bundit Sornpaisarn, director of an academic centre dealing with alcohol problems, said the measure to raise the minimum legal age of buyers to 25 would effectively reduce youngsters' access to alcohol. Previous studies on alcohol controls showed that the earlier teenagers were exposed to alcohol promotions, the sooner they started drinking, he said. Wallop Tangkananurak, a member of the NLA, urged the government to hike the excise tax on alcoholic products. Phra Ratchdhamanithet, better known as Phra Payom Kalayano, voiced strong support for the anti-drinking movement. He said the drinking of alcohol, which is prohibited in the five Buddhist precepts, is much more harmful and sinful than lottery betting. Thailand ranks No. 5 in the world for consumption of alcohol. On average, a Thai consumes 14 litres of alcoholic drinks per year, according to the Thailand Development Research Institute. http://www.bangkokpost.com/News/14Oct2006_news10.php
  20. Cat, I think perhaps we met the same boy. I went to Boyztown recently and had a very similar experience. I called the mamasan over and told her I thought the boys was able to look so deep into my eyes that he could see my soul. She replied that he doesn't wear his glasses on stage and perhaps he wasn't able to see beyond 4 feet in front of him. Isn't it amazing when we try to read something so profound into something so innocent.
  21. I know many here don't think it a good idea to ride a motorcycle. I love riding mine and find it the best way to get around in Pattaya. However, I am often shocked when I see tiny babies on the bikes. I wonder how many accidents occur. It just blows my mind to see Dad driving Mom while she is holding little Pan in between them. Are there no laws here that forbid this?
  22. We spent the day at Pattaya Park. The water park is a lot of fun and has swimming pools and slides. The cost was 100 bath per person. You can take a trolley up to the tower's 55th Floor for lookout. The cost is 100 bath for Thai's and 200 bath for Farang. The rides in the park were from 50bath to 100 bath. They have food and drinks inside the park. I had a good day just watching everyone have fun. The guys I took had a blast. They are high energy and that energy was tested today. It was great fun watching them jump off the 55th Floor on a zip line. For me, the elevator was calling my name and I had to answe. If you are looking for a fun day that is something most guys here won't get a chance to do all the time, take the to Pattaya Park.
  23. I have always been a firm believer that Communism is a perfect solution to society ills. In pure form it is great. It is only when actual men get involved that the doctrine fails.
