  1. Hope you're right about them re-opening...those words are so often associated with permanent closure in Thailand
  2. And realistic and fair price it is too... 5000 Baht (or £108 if your English) or ($143 if you are American) for touring gogo bars, drinking, tipping and then fucking all night...its hardly burning money is it? What planet are you on?
  3. WTF....? You are talking about Toyboys aren't you? The place in Boyztown? In Pattaya? The first bar on the left as you enter the Soi? You wanna see horrendous prices?....Ever tired Dreamboys in BKK?
  4. And therein lies a problem...which most here appear to have missed. If you buy a boy (or a gang of boys) drinks from the bar then they get a cut for every drink bought. However, when you buy a bottle they get nothing from the bar. Added to which the above statement indicates that the poster will not be giving the guys a tip. So the boys end up without a cut from the bar, or a tip from the customer. Nothing. I know a number of boys who do not like customers buying a bottle for these very reasons. Of course they will not show it outwardly. if you do decide to buy a bottle I believe it is only right to tip them after sharing it.
  5. Yes but that didn't last . Still closed. Now. if A Bomb move across then that might be awesome!!! Theres me dreaming !

    What size tip?

That is standard procedure with hair. You either loose it or it turns grey. End of... No alternative....!
  7. Now that is so true...Ive flown Qatar Airways many times and you wouldn't believe the amount of booze that is available free both in business and economy. And from a "dry" country. Puts our own British Airways and KLM to shame! P.S. Most things put BA to shame.

    Bollocks.... Ignore these fucking mamasans.
  9. Always stayed at the Tarntawan but its getting expensive and tired. Any views on the Nantra on Silom? Know its cheap but is it OK? Noisy? Any advise appreciated.
  10. Ryanair Don't be put out by Gaybutton. He just doesn't come over very well. I don't think he can help it. To me, he creates the impression he can dish it out (criticism, banter, you name it) but has a real problem taking it. A similar temperament to another, past, board owner (Neal).....?! Standing by.....
  11. Happens in saunas, so why not?
  12. Seems 2 bombs have gone off in Hua Hin...some killed Was only a few weeks ago I started a thread asking if you felt safe in Boyztown, mmm....
  13. If I take a few boys off to Karaoke/Bowling or Morlam I pay the ones I select a tip. If friends that I havent selected come along, of course no tip. This happens a lot at Morlam. There is no way I would only tip 200 Baht for that...keeping him out of bed (or away from his b/f, friends etc) until 4 or 5 a.m. My rules are .. 500 for Morlam or Karaoke.. 1000 for short time...maybe a bit more if good.. 1500 for long time... If I take off more than one boy for either short or long time its 1000/1500 per boy. If 2 falangs took 1 boy (yuck not my scene) then IMHO they both pay....just as you would pay for 2 boys if you chose to take 2 off. Seems simple enough to me
  14. I ignore all good reports (for obvious reasons). I only read the bad ones (they wont write them about themselves) and base my decision on those. If there are no bad reports then I'm good to go. The scores are irrelevant in my book.
  15. ryanasia Can you tell me whether people actually pay the outrageous prices asked for overnights in Europe and the USA. It always seems strange to me that an hour is about £100 and an overnight anything up to £700+. I suspect it is negotiable.
  16. There is a difference between stealing and scamming as far as I'm concerned. Ive had money stolen on several occasions but not really been scammed. So have most posters from what I have read here. Ive had far more money stolen in Thailand than anywhere else. Another scam that hasn't been reported is the Airport Taxi Scam. You book a taxi and go to find the guy holding your name up. However there are other drivers around (before you get to the meeting point) who shout "You book taxi" or something similar. They then ask your name and then say "Yes, Yes", and off you innocently go...The original taxi company is of course the one being scammed. My taxi company now always tells me, in their confirmation email, not to go with anyone other than the guy holding the sign with my name on it.
  17. Anndy is correct...keep to the right at immigration and the fast track lane is a few metres further on. (Next to the crew lane). The age for seniors is 70. I sometimes travel business, sometimes economy. They don't collect the card if you don't hand it over. I keep the cards and use them every time, even traveling Economy... (shhhhh)!
  18. The place has always been a rip off....they used to have a sign on the inside of the door offering cheaper drinks before, I think, 9.30, but when the check bin arrived it was always full price....arguments followed. Then they had that despicable mamasan from Hell, Leila....enough said. The sooner this place closes for good the better.
  19. So they they built the biggest Brothel in the world ...and now they want to knock it down. ..Fat chance.
  20. You're quite right Londoner I do not live in London any more...thank god!
  21. Vinapu....sooo true! 10/10
  22. Big boy...have you recently tried to travel on a bus in England? I am well over 65 and I tried once..never again...I would rather use my car ....thank you.
  23. Well ok thank you for your views. It wasn't long ago, probably just after the Bangkk bombing, that the Thai authorities were saying that there was high risk in Pattaya. Perhaps peoples minds are quick to forget ....
