  1. Last year Obama was against gay marriage. He changed his mind and is now a hero. Portman has a change of heart and nobody wants to believe it, just because he is Republican?
  2. Tomcal. Did you see that AA has applied for Lax-Gru nonstop. Will save you a lot of time.
  3. He was doing local news in Miami. He always has a great smile and a soft voice. He covered a lot of politics and was at the convention in Tampa. Noticed he disappeared in December, then saw him on the National news Sunday. He was with CBS in Miami, now ABC
  4. I will be watching. I had season tickets for the 49'ers for the last 30 years and have been to 5 Super Bowls. I love sports, but retirement income has slowed me down a bit.
  5. I haven't been to this party, but I have been to Mykonos about 15 times. August is the most crowded and most expensive month of the year. So start planning now, if your really interested. I have been there a couple of times when circuit parties were going on. Most boys are British and European and hotties. Nude beaches can be quite scenic during a party week.

    Award Travel

All my miles are with American. I usually use them on Cathay Pacific in first, twice a year to go to Bangkok. I just got back from being there for New Years, but I got such a good rate to fly AA to Tokyo and then Japan to Bangkok, i bought the ticket. AA was offering so many mile bonus last month the trip got me close to 60k more miles. Living in Ft. Lauderdale, Brazil is doable in coach if I have to, then use the miles for very long Asia trips. I also have system wide upgrades to use that helps a lot . AA isn't fare based like Delta to use upgrades.
  7. No I haven't seen anything about the MR program. I have a hard enough time keeping my gold status, so don't know if I would be in the ballpark for lifetime programs. I love the location of the Pattaya Marriott though. Makes it so easy getting back and forth to Boyztown. If u can point me in the right direction , I will check the lifetime program out.
  8. Speaking of the Marriott breakfast buffet. I'm staying there now and it opens in 7 minutes. I will be there. Checking out this morning and headed to Courtyard by Marriott in Bangkok with an afternoon at Hero. Michael you have taught me well.
  9. I made it To Hero yesterday. it was very busy. At least 50 boys working and at least 10 customers trying to pick the boy of their dreams. All the VIP rooms were taken , so settled for regular room. The boy I picked, spoke decent English. Definite positive. He was 23, college jock body, and as Oz said, not a spot untouched with his strong hands. The choice of boys at Hero is amazing. I have been to many places where there are just a couple of boys that interest you. Here there really isn't any boy that you wouldn't be happy with. I'll be back tomorrow with a VIP room.
  10. I arrived in bangkok last night, unfortunately my luggage didn't. (It arrived This evening) My plans were to go to hero this afternoon, but decided to stay closer to the hotel till I had clean clothes. Probably just as we'll now. Would there have been any VIP rooms or hot boys left? I am headed over tomorrow. As with you, I love the place.
  11. go to flyertalk.com. There are sections on China and on Marriott Hotels. The Marriott section has a lot of good info on hotels within China. I'm partial to Cathay Pacific, but they will get you to everywhere you want to go with good frequency.
  12. Im sitting here poolside at the marriott watching movies . I just went into the ap store and there are several aps on thailand that come up. Which one is the one you like?

    Meet

I'll be arriving in pattaya on monday and would love to meet up if there is still some room
  14. How do you go about the residential address situation when there for a short time. I would like to open a bank account when I get there in December, but I'm only in Pattaya for 6 days. What do the banks require for an address when setting up the account?

    Fees

I offed boys twice in Bangkok last month. 2 different clubs, but both fees were 400, but both times the boys wanted at least 1500 for an hour. In Pattaya, the boys were happy with 1000
  16. In Bangkok, I have been staying at the Tarntawan. It's just so easy and close to everything. In Pattaya, I have been staying at the Marriott for the same reason. I can just walk to everything. Sit by the pool all afternoon, little nap before heading out for the evening. It doesn't get much better. (dinner with gaybutton on last trip was great) I am headed back for 10 days between Christmas and New Years and have reservations at the Marriott.
  17. I just returned after being there the last 2 weeks. For me it was hot, but I was on vacation so I wanted it that way. But I just keep remembering my friends in Bangkok complaining that it was too hot for so early in the year.
  18. I just got back from spending the last 2 weekends in Bangkok/Pattaya. While I found it slower on weedays, on the weekends the clubs were packed. But mostly during show times. I did find that the mamasan's were pushing boys on me, more than my last trips. To the point I had to get a little firm and say, leave me alone or I will leave. I will pick a boy, but of my choice and when I want. Your correct in the fact that there is very little interest by the boys. If you make eye contact you will get a smile. I found the hottest boys at Boys Thailand, this trip. (and I think I did help the thai economy) Cant wait till my next trip for New Years
  19. I just came back from doing a tourist boat cruise on the Chao Phraya this afternoon. When we got to the bridge, the tour guide was cutting jokes about the head, like he was in a comedy club. I think the Thais were politely smiling and the Westerners, had no idea what he was taking about.
  20. There's a picture in the Bangkok Post this morning, of the head hanging off the bridge
  21. I'm headed to Bangkok next week and then I'm looking at Brazil sometime in May.
  22. My travel experiences were pertty good in 2008. I flew just over 150,000 miles. Had no delays of more than an hour. I only missed one upgrade. I've already got about 75,000 miles worth of trips already book for 2009, and hoping my 08 good luck continues. First big trip is to Thailand in February.
  23. I did walk around Sunee a couple of times, but earlier in the evening, so not a lot going on at that point. Because of my good luck in meeting a boy almost as soon as I arrived, there wasnt really much need to head to that area. Every thing we needed was in Boystown and I was staying in that area. When I come back in Feb. I will explore Sunee a bit more. And I do like Bangkok a lot also. I made a couple of friends that kept me busy most of my stay there.
