  1. Oddly enough, I spend very little time in downtown Wilton Manors because I spent 4-6 months a year in Bangkok and spend more of my money there. So lots of Thai food . I’d be there now sharing restaurants with TotallyOz if it weren’t for Covid.
  2. I live there and probably haven’t been in a gay business in 5 years.
  3. Yes, Trump and Biden are a given, but there are many other contests going on. Senate, Congress, local representatives, judges, school boards, sheriffs, dog catchers, It goes on and on.
  4. I should have said. The Florida Primary Elections . They are in August.
  5. I’m in Florida and received my ballot by mail yesterday. Trump is flooding the Florida TV airwaves with campaign ads. Florida is a big swing state and he is trailing in the poles .
  6. I drove buy car wash a couple of weeks ago and cars were lines up down the street. They are doing washes in back of parking lot so you really can’t see anything from street. Florida last night banned alcohol sales from any bar, club or restaurant that makes 50% of their sales on alcohol. They also announced they are closes beaches in Miami Fourth of July weekend. New cases are exploding here. The young are out and about and don’t care. Those of us older folk are hunkering down inside. Several places got closed down in Ft.Lauderdale last night for overcrowding.
  7. Unfortunately the Wilton Manors area has had the highest rate of new cases of Covid in Broward County over the last few days. This is not going to help getting up and running quickly. I drove past Boardwalk today and it appeared they had outdoor restaurant open. I didn’t see any customers but there were several cars in parking lot and they had tables out.
  8. Good Girls had their season ending episode last night. I found season 3 to be a bit off. I enjoyed season 1& 2 much more.
  9. I love this show but I need to wait till season over and binge watch the season at one time. I have watched most of it on my flights to Bangkok. Hoping that will happen again at the end of the year.

    Coronavirus

I think we saw this coming. I got home yesterday from Bangkok and several other of my American friends left Bangkok the last few days. With all the Asian countries closing their borders we didn’t want to get stuck there.
  11. I wonder how many Are arriving from Singapore and China with the travel restrictions. I’m out most nights and I just don’t see them.
  12. I’ll be at Hot Male to see who is around. Then go from there. I went to FreshBoys last night. Decent crowd. A few offs. but crowd and boys on stage all in good moods making for a fun night.

    Coronavirus

DHS has already stated that Americans will not be refused entry into the US. Flights from UK still flying. So there will be major inconveniences but there are work arounds. I’v been in Bangkok now for a couple of months. I feel safer here than I will in the US listening to the panic I seem to hear from there. Tourism is slow here , but it seems much more business as usual.
  14. Yes I’ll be up at Hot Male waiting for you, but if you stop by Red Dragon first those guys will let you know for sure where I am as they track me all night.
  15. Thanks Jason. Lol. I do get trapped by the guys at FreshBoys. They won’t let me out of Patpong. I don’t go to Moonlight alone, but when other forum members are around I make it. I like the show and there are some hot guys working there. I hope the fact they are not filling the place on weekends isn’t a sign of things to come. A very slow, slow season?
  16. Vinapu you would recognize him . He waited on us many nights during your visits.

For the most part Bangkok is business as usual. Not nearly as many Asians as I thought would be wearing masks. Barely any Westerners wearing them. In the entertainment district. (Bars and Gogo’s). Only occasionally an Asian customer wearing masks. nobody talking about it. Unless you turn on tv you would barely no anything was going on. At the airport they were trying to take temperatures. Getting maybe 50% of passengers. Hong Kong did much better job. They narrowed the walk ways and got almost everyone’s temperature. This is a Religious 3 day weekend so many have left city. No Chinese tour groups allowed in Thailand so no big tour busses. All in all it’s pretty much business as usual. Bars and gogo’s open tonight, but no alcohol till after midnight. Unless your a regular customer and they will give you a red plastic cup with tea. Wink wink.
  18. I’m in Hong Kong at the airport right now. I just got off a flight from the US. The entire flight crew wore masks and all wore plastic gloves entire flight. All Asian passengers wore masks and half wore gloves. I didn’t see any Western passengers wearing masks.

I’m flying to Bangkok tonight thru Hong Kong. My flight is maybe 25% full. Business Class had 54 seats booked last week. This morning only 10 seats taken. I’ve got a lot of friends in Bangkok and they all say you have to be aware of things but wouldn’t cancel. There are no flights from China . No big Chinese tour groups. They say it’s a bit quiet right now.
  20. Shows all start between 10 and 10:30. Things will probably be a bit slow for the next week or two. Bangkok just coming off big holiday weeks. But still enough going on to have a great time.
  21. I’d go as long as your not headed into that area. Use caution and stay away from tourist areas. It’s business trip so you can limit physical contact. I’ll be in Hong Kong on Tuesday with no thoughts to cancel. I’ll see you in Bangkok soon.
  22. How many of us will need a lift or escalator to get to gogo’ s that are upstairs?
  23. An interesting point on charges. If they have passport stamps up to date. (Monthly visa run) and are caught working in shops or gogo’s, the charges are just working without a permit. Not being in the country illegally. Because of this they are usually just fined and released. if passport is not stamped up to date , then can be charged with being in the country illegally and working without a permit. Usually comes with jail time as it gets sorted out a fine and deportation for up to 10 years.
