Yes. I would never trust online escort listings in Columbia. Why CB is great. They're verified and you see them and what they do.

just got back..couldn't get the fercho guy to understand english so no guarantee the guys I want was there...drive by on Uber on way to something else, and the area didn't look that great. Ended up with Grindr guys as there were so many to choose from. One I picked was a winner and I get the comforts of my own hotel room/shower, which I gather Fercho may not have (shower that is)

Ya. I had chaturbate send me a warning after chatting with some Colombians through the platform. Someone must have reported me for asking about meeting with them in person. Plus, most of the hot guys are making a ton of money each day camming; quite a bit more than they could make escorting. Several told me this. Others, want hundreds or even thousand of tokens just for their Whats App to talk to them. All in all, I've spent a lot of time on Chaturbate looking for potential guys to meet up with, with not much success.

Fortunately about 1/4 of rooms on CB, and almost all the Latin American ones, are in Medellin and the guys are eager to make contacts and meet in person. Unlike Grindr, you see what you get. CB has a $20 special that gives unlimited messages plus tokens for about the same price as tokens. Unlimited messages impresses the guys and makes contact very easy.

Great news that there's an airline flying into Medellin's downtown airport from BOG. MED is an awful car trip to town over the mountains in little tin-can taxis.

Curious about the scort and massage guys in Medellin/Columbia. Do they usually use/require condoms when you suck them? Can you ask to just suck the massage guys at the massage places instead of a massage? Is there separate pricing just for oral?

Also, if you pick up at a bar does the bar make you pay an exit fee for the boy? This was my experience in TJ.

Anyone been successful combing the streets there?

At Club Tobi  in Medellin you can get the "massuer" to just skip to whatever pretty fast. You are on a massage table though. At the Bogota massage places it's very hard to get anything much for twice the fee as Club Tobi. Massage/sex clubs may charge a fee to leave with an employee but I've never seen a bar do so. The small street 57a at it's intersection with Oriental in Medellin is where the hustler bars are and any guy is looking. The gay Chapeniro neighborhood in Bogota is very big and "downtown" so you can't assume any street traffic there is looking.

Colombia - April 2019

OK, it's my turn - I just came back from Colombia.

Cali #1 - I met this boy called Fabian. I found him from Milerotico, the escort website. I requested to video-chat with him before deciding to get him to my hotel. He had no problem doing that. We chatted a bit over the video and he visited me. He didn't kiss or suck mine, but let me suck his. He is a top/versatile, but he let me fuck him. He was actually a great bottom! A very sexy and cute colombiano twink, 20 years old. I paid 90.000 pesos, which is about 30 dollars.

Cali #2 - another one from Milerocico, MIchel. 22 years old colombian boy. I checked over video-chat and he travelled from Pereira for over night, I gave him 100 USD for the entire night. We went to the bars, restaurant then came back to my hotel. He is a good looking boy, but actually I wasn't so much turned on, maybe the same day after I met Fabial, who wa much more my type and sexy? In Cali, this Michel boy showed me around the gay bar area, but it wasn't so lively, maybe it was because Semana Santa? Not many people there.

Pereira - The boys above, Cali #2, Michel, guided me around the town, and we went to a couple of bars. I didn't get him to my hotel. In the gay bar, I was approached by a couple of colombians, perhaps it was quite rare for them to have Japanese (or Asian) to turn up in the gay bars in the little town like Pereira. I was actually expecting another boy to meet up with me, who I found on CB. He is more Euro type colombian. A sexy boy but he couldn't manage to meet me on the day I stayed in Pereira. It was a big loss of me. I wanted to see him mainly in this trip.

Medellin - the first night in Medellin I got totally wet by the rain outside, and I got sick from next day. It was Easter Week (Semana Santa), and I found only boy at Club Tobi. He wasn't my type and he wanted 150.000 pesos for normal massage and 200.000 for sex, so I left there. Only two more customers, that's all. I chatted over the Whatsapp with the boys I got through CB, but the good looking ones I couldn't meet up there. One of the CB boys introduced me his friend, but this one was too big for me, as I prefer twinky type.

Bogotá - I tried Grindr first time in Colombia. To my surprise, so many guys tapped me or directly offered having a sex, which had never happened in my entire life anywhere...like, 30, 40 guys at a time. Next time I would love to stay more in St Moritz, where you can find various type of boys - normal massage 60.000 and with sex 80.000, a good value. Unfortunately, most boys are only top, though some extra money could allow you to fuck them, I guess..

So, in conclusion, I should have used Grindr as soon as I arrived in Colombia. I don't know why I didn't do so..The boys in milerotico are quite attractive and they charge approx. 30 US dollars for a session. They don't mind video-chat beforehand. The boys on CB, they are quite happy to give me their contact number for Whatsapp. This time I couldn't meet anyone through CB, but still, I will try them another time if any...

Locality-wise, I liked people in Cali and Pereira, they were really friendly and open, although people in general are all very nice in Colombia. They are all very nice for strangers, in streets, bars, clubs, anywhere. I liked it.

Sauter, you say Gigolo Erotic House is only open Friday night. However, their Instagram page has posts with banner ads for many nights of the week, eg Tues Wed Fri Sat. I believe they run every night, as does Saint Moritz.

Their ad, which they sent to me when I made an inquiry with Whatsapp, states 'Viernes/Sábado' - which means Friday/Saturday, while Saint Moritz is open every day. I actually went to Gigolo during the week expecting it would be open but it was closed, where a staff at Saint M told me to come back on Friday. Sorry, RIobard, but unfortunately Tues-Thursday, Gigolo is closed.

It might actually shift some of the Gigolo dancers downstairs on weeknights, then, where interaction in a massage space might be easier than a curtained nook/cranny. 

Not yet nailed down Bogotá travel dates.

Sorry to pick up this question about street combing so late. People in Colombia are just very friendly in general. It sounds like a cliche but for once it's not. People make eye contact, they're curious and open about foreigners, gorgeous guys on the buses and streets will look and smile at you, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're cruising or advertising. It can be a little confusing. But wonderful if you keep that in mind.

Last night in Colombia. These are my general observations from trying out the advice here. 

On grinder the term prepaygos is no longer around. The leads I found were one of these; a dollar sign, a variant of please read (lea), or a variant of massage. That has been a mixed bag. I have had some that used pictures of other people. Some were pretty hot and would do everything. I didn’t find such a price difference between bogota and medellin.

in bogota I dropped by both teatron and saint moritz. Teatron has the strippers on the top floor. I was there on a Thursday. Half the bars were closed. I suggest going there between 11 and 12. Saint moritz had a good mix of guys. I found two particularly hot. The customers were just ok. 

In medellin I went to ferchos. I suggest using google translate and just keep messaging the number. He likes to send voice mails and it is just sometimes hard to understand. Eventually he will reply via text. On fridays they like to do something different. They have some hot guys there but I think the mix in saint moritz is better. Just my preference I think. Even though the person says they are open. Ask before going because I went there and they were closed. ( around 4 pm)

Very nice trip to Colombia, from April 9th to 26th. In Medellin I rented in San Peters Apartaments, in Laureles. Good place, with a liberal guest policy. I met mostly guys from fb or through friends. Some good offers vía Grindr. The same in Bogota, at the BH Mercure Hotel. Besides old acquitances and new Grindrs, I went to Saint Moritz sauna and put myself on the hands of its masseurs... From 6 to 9 gorgeous guys, some of 18 and 19 y.o. of age, with excellent bodies and attitude. Worth the visit. With a young nice guy I went to a motel; with another one to the nearby Internet cabines. Very nice all together, and at a short walk from the Hotel.

It's amazing how old men are still on demand. I mean, for free! Many younger are eager to meet "serios" and gravity usually means being over 50 or 60!

By the way, the restaurant Juana la Loca in Bogotá is very good. And for some touristic plan, the Salt Cathedral at Zipaquirá is an excellent destination.
