From less to more expensive: Tarntawan Hotel Surawong, Glitz, Tawana, De Arni, Siam Heritage, Tarntawan Place Apartment, Le Meridien. Which of these is for sure allows working boys inside? Before living in Bangkok and after moving out I have stayed in many hotels....all of the ones I've stayed in allow visitors and overnight guests. Of the ones you mentioned I have recently stayed at Tarntawan Hotel Surawong….no problems here at all. Most guests that stay there are gay. I also stayed at Glitz but it has been several years ago and while it was guest friendly back then I have no idea what it's like now. I have also very recently stayed at Siam Heritage as well but as I was with someone the entire time I can't say if it allows guests. I have also stayed at Le Meridien and as noted above it is guest friendly. In addition to your list you can add these to your guest friendly list (I have stayed in all): Wall Street Inn, The Rose Hotel and Pinnacle Lumpinee Park. I stayed there a few years back; upon registration I had to fill out a card related to my desire in receiving guests. This supposedly was for my protection. Had a masseur come over. After he left-- the personnel at the desk rang my room to see if everything were fine; it was and then some! Saw other guests bringing "talent" back with them for some hours or perhaps overnight stay. That's all that I can relate except that I found the place comfortable, quiet, clean, and wonderful for five days/nights. Its location was in walking distance to the area that had clubs with boys, etc. Don't remember the precise title for the area. I also could walk to the train that ran skyward. No indication from what I'd heard that the new owners objected to room visitors or anything, just to be clear. Just that it isn't a 'gay' hotel anymore. The owners ruined the place for me. Caeron I have stayed at the Siam Heritage and had a nice time there. Rooms were super clean and it was a great value I felt. A Good location also. The guy said he suspected I had a woman in the room. Naturally, I denied it. He insisted on checking, so he found the body builder in a bikini on my bed. I agreed to pay extra for the guy, I can't remember how much, but it turned out that the guy had not brought his ID, so he was out. At the old Crowne Plaza, now the Holiday Inn, security met me at the elevator and directed me to the front desk, where they asked for about $40 to have the boy in the room. I was take aback, and declined. We went to the Surawong instead. (Today I would just pay it.) This is the same hotel that did not have my room ready when I arrived from the States dog-tired at 2 a.m. I had to wait an hour and a half! No doubt they were renting the room knowing I would be late. And, Oz, I can now claim 20 hotels as your question prompted a memory of another hotel incident. I think it was called the Evergreen. It's on Convent Road at Sathorn. We were staying there because our Thai friend knew the Caucasian manager, who had assured me there would be no problem with guests. And I enjoyed the company of a very hot guy. I escorted him to the lobby as he left and I returned to the elevator. A man in a suit got on with me and pushed a button for a floor above mine. However, he got off with me on my floor and proceeded to say he was hotel security and insisted on checking my room. Naturally, it was empty as he was too late. The odd thing is that when I told the manager the next morning, he said they had no security dressed as this guy was. He checked around and found no one from the hotel to say he was the one who had checked on me. So, who was? It's been fun recalling these hotels as each has its own memory! They were famous for not being guest friendly. I have stayed at every Marriott, Hilton and Sheraton in Bangkok without any problems . I also stayed at a fair number of smaller non Big Chain Hotels within walking distance ( 15-20 minutes in the old days) also with never a problem. I always make the reservation for 2 and would be willing to fight if they thought they could tell me who the 2nd person could be. My one problem was Holiday Inn Silom. I was able to get around their ridiculous notions by using a side entrance and going right to the elevator . But I never returned. I spent a few minutes on Airbnb the other night and when and if I return I may use them. I have used them all over the world and I recently looked at some of their listings . Never had a problem bringing someone inside. We hope to meet boys enjoy the go go bars etc. Will it be harder for us to bring a money boy back since we are a couple? I hate nosey hotels even here in America I prefer one with an entrance away from lobby and or even outside entry into the room/townhouse style hotels. I assume Bangkok and Pattaya will not have any like that. I just hope we don't end up having a long reservation at a hotel that will not allow us to have fun/guests. I also email the hotel in advance to ask about their joiner policy. This way I've yet to have any problems bringing guests back to my hotel room anywhere in Thailand. We'd take the elevator up to the guest registration lobby...then change elevators to my floor. I always dressed appropriatelyl....and acted/looked like I knew what I was doing.
