Lion's Rio - Update

I promised in another thread that I'd check out Lions Rio on my visit to RJ a couple weeks ago.......a combination of a very late arrival (cancelled flight on LATAM) and my buddies wanting to stick with 117 and 202 caused me to not be able to check out Lions......sorry about that, but thanks to @sfcastro for his report above

I decided after my first visit to Lion's Rio Club on a Friday to try it the following Monday night.  It was much quieter than my Friday night visit, with about 10 garotos and 5 clients.  Rooms were free for 30 minutes and the admission was R$60.  Even with only a small number of clients, they still had a show at 9 pm.   With it being slow, you definitely receive lots of attention.  The Monday I visited was also before people received their December salary and their December bonus so not sure if that was a factor.  My recommendation would be to try it on a Friday night if you want to try an alternative to 117 or 202.

My partner and I had the time of our life on Monday and Wednesday night at the club during the last week in November. We had about five different guys , enjoyed a great show and had complimentary drinks. Here are a few names that I remember: Will, big wide dick, Lucus , long curve hook dick that never goes down after nutting twice with us and hot versatile,  Mizael, tall  brother with a huge fat, and long dick that was everything you would want , Carlos with a smile and lips to die for with a nice heavy thick dick, Bruno was everything and more, etc. You must go and yes we played at the point and 117 but the best guys this trip were at  the Lion’s Club. From my assessment they are open to stay and provide a better venue.

@Ejay106, it is difficult to ascertain where your head is at regarding unprotected intercourse. With so many readers here you can expect responses based on both the celebration of sexual play and the liabilities of condomless sex.

On the one hand or extreme, you may be a diehard Bareback Brotherhood member and not interested in hearing about alternative perspectives. On the other hand, you may not be fully up to speed on relevant Sexually Transmitted Infection information and its sobering reality among at-risk socioeconomically deprived commercial sex workers, eg in Brazil.

Your ‘covenant of love’ philosophy would have us believe that a sexual libertarian stance is counterbalanced and accompanied by a strong valuing of the wellbeing of your intimate partners.

Sometimes a question is disguised as a presentation or an assertion. In this case, the barebacking depiction may be an inquiry ... Inquiries are welcome here.

One thing that really absolutely gets my goat more than anything are these entitled Westerners who travel to places where darker, poorer people are much less privileged and then take advantage of them by doing things like using their monetary influence to have irresponsible, unsafe sex with them. 

And then BRAG about it. Or encourage this kind of behavior by patting those who do it on the back with “good job!”

I don’t care if you’re on PrEP. The other party in a developing nation may not have access to top-shelf medical care like you, and also PrEP does zero for the spread of other deadly or chronic sexually transmitted diseases like hrpatitis or meningitis, or the new viral-resistant gonorrhea which are all on the rise with gays in the USA because they are back to barebacking.

It’s not that hard to be a responsible whore or an ethical sex tourist.

Many of these guys are making babies. The country has also been plagued by shortages of the penicillin subtype that penetrates the placenta barrier. Otherwise, relatively easy to screen and treat, at least for us at home. 

The condoms at Lions et al are the initial index or cue outlining our social contract. This syphilis-infected newborn, among thousands not miscarried or stillborn in Brazil, missed out on parental screening. A neglected or overlooked social cue at the end of the cascade effect of unprotected sex ...

@TotallyOz I miss the times when this forum was a very friendly community...gone. Now it looks more like nazi-german's people's courts.

This is a very complicated topic, which IMHO should be kept outside of this forum...anyway there are some facts:

-Having BB sex with a sex-worker is not a great idea. It has nothing to do with the exploitation thing, since the  majority of the sexual workers around the globe, do this job because it's easy money (including nowadays Brazil...after all R$150+"benefits" in 30 minutes of sex, is better than R$1000 after a month of hard work inside a supermarket, 7 hours per day, if lucky...iPhone 11 costs R$6k). It is more of a matter of science, ignorance, law and probabilities.

-The vast majority of the escorts working wordwide, that are gay, will accept to have BB sex. And there's more...I often get offered BB sex from them...could be my age...but it happens. I am sure it happened to many of the users of this forum too. Just say "no, thanks not".

-A good share of customers, asks for BB sex...I've seen this happen countless times. Some guys nodded, some did not.

-Having sex with someone without telling him that you have any kind of untreated STD, it's a heavy criminal offence in most of the countries, especially if that person gets infected...assuming that a person is involved in this kind of behaviour is also illegal if it turns out that it's not true. Assuming that latbear4blk is a kind of "walking infector", is really not something should be read in what is supposed to be a friendly community.

-If you guys are so scared about STDs, you should not be visiting saunas and you should not be having sex with escorts. Assuming for 1 second that HIV never existed or that everybody's on Prep, while having fun with a sauna escort boy if you're using a condom, you're still exposing yourself to the vast majority of the STDs, unless you're paying for an escort, who doesn't kiss, who doesn't suck, who doesn't touch you.

My advice...have safe sex with escorts...and stop making assumptions and critics about what the users do.

Unprotected sex is driven largely by libidinal preference among clients, not inherently exploitive, sometimes tempered by risk assessment. Among commercial sex workers, consent is driven by financial reward, (notwithstanding variations in exigencies of survival) and accurate risk assessment is directly proportional to access to information not diluted by ignorance and misconception.

The Brazilian government, as you well know @likeohmygod, is working hard to suppress sex education at a time when serious sexually transmitted infection is spiking. In concert with gaps in vital knowledge, condom use among young males is often stigmatized and ridiculed as weak and unmanly. Such dynamics in general, prohibition via insane moral arguments based on “othering”, resulting in withdrawal of funding for education, actually has the flavour of Nazi Germany to me. 

Many garotos de programa distance themselves from the identity of homosexuality while buying into messages that STIs thrive only among gays. Many are behaviourally heterosexual outside of trade. Unprotected sex is often both a counterphobic defense and messaging about ‘disease-free’ stock value and adventurousness. Capitalizing on this profound state-sanctioned juvenile ignorance and naïveté is only exploitive, sex tourism at its worst.

Perhaps some clients screen for sexual illiteracy but I doubt that is the trend.

Your encouragement of condom use is certainly on point.

Unlike your evangelical policies In Washington that has divided our country and now on this blog you preach to us from your narrow closet of discontent and sexual nullification. The constitution gives all men the right to hold our truths with self evidence that all men are created equal that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I, like the founders , am not religious, but I respect all religion. Mr.President from your epilogue you pointed a nasty finger at my heart trying to define your pursuit of happiness in my life. Let us be Cordial and respectful of our constitutional rights and religious beliefs on this open community blog. I find it distasteful when you inject unnecessary venom in this community because none of us are the same and we all pursuit happiness based on our hearts. For instance, what you don’t know is that I’ve been traveling the world for over 30+ years living in different countries speaking multiple languages and living among the people. Now semi-retired with three major corporations and stock in Trojans and Gilead, to name a few. We had taught and followed the world debate and recent CDC dogma on the present state of community/ sexually transmitted diseases and yet our numbers in states like Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, DC, Maryland, etc., to  name a few is applauding unlike Brazil, DR, Spain, Columbia. Mr President you cut the budget to reduce the cost of Hiv drugs which now start around $4000.00. You may have seen me presenting because of my research on this subject, but if you attend these same meetings you need to be truthful on this blog about what the international studies were telling us about transmission and the cost of prevention. If I am a not mistaken the p valve was so low it left everyone in the room debating what should we say to the people. In America and abroad, we are loosing more people from new populations of virus promoted by low immune system related to recreational and traditional drug use with un healthy diets/obesity.  Interestingly, we have more deaths from this in America than found in third world countries. Mr President let’s work together to enjoy peace and happiness. Teaching in Malawi Africa in the 70’s gave me a great education on religious  and American propaganda. If you don’t believe me get a copy of “Skeleton’s in the Closet” to show you how we have used poorly documented facts to kill fellow Americans, like my great great grandfather a sharecropper who had a cold and was given syphilis of which he died from Neuro-Sphyilis. And I guess from your  declaration on my life you are one to believe the Fire Island story of the Canadian steward spreading AIDS from Africa and weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Gotcha!!! I new if I wrote back to you in third person figure of speech you would express your racism. Your blog had all the venom of a Trump speech as though you are all knowing. Because I have studied all of your blogs I decided to use a metaphorical reply as in Canterbury Tales to examine your truths. Unlike you, I speak to everyone, every race, every gender without being a racist. Your style on this blog is definitive and does little to bring us together. You missed the essence of my simple soliloquy to ask you to be fair and have clarity.  Are you writing to black men only on this blog? Come out of your narrow mindedness and yes, I know you are not Trump but don’t trump us with your narrow minded  non scientific approach to your dark closet. We like you,  love this country and the constitution and its people. My short comings is being an old graduate professor with many noble followers and employees and we love good free speech.
