Club 117 in Gay Rio de Janeiro

Recommended Posts

This sauna has all the usual facilities, including a video room with comfy seating and a dark room. Their cabins are notable for being almost hotel-like. But it also has a full-fledged cabaret-style nightclub in it, as well as a more chill bar and an outdoor bar area as well. A lot of tops come here; the escorts are in special towels for efficient cruising.

i’m very curious about that. I’m more into latin type than black or mixed.

there are dozens of posts about 117 in Rio and many other Brazilian saunas, including specific details about types of guys there.  Just use the search function using 117 (or other sauna names) as keyword & you will find tons of information, some of it very recent.  As a new member, you will not have access to restricted forums until you have 10 approved posts.  Good luck

Hello

Boys are all black or mixed ?
is there portuguese type men ?
i’m very curious about that. I’m more into latin type than black or mixed.

Thanks

Differentiating your three typologies does not make total sense. The Iberian peninsula ethnic admixtures are also diverse. If you are predisposed to favouring Caucasian men, just say that, no harm no foul. There may be your preferred type there, but lack of flexibility may be limiting. You can check out the hundreds of escort ads. You will find the sites by name by searching forums here. It will yield broad representation that basically transfers over to the brothel venues. Or Google ‘acompanhante masculino Brasil’ to pull up the major contenders viz sites.

Their full ad descriptions will tend to be briefer than your handle. LOL

Stereotypes don't work well, in my opinion.  You're "more into latin type".  What does that tell us?  There are Latins who are black, brown and light skinned.    There are some areas in Brazil where the population speaks both Portuguese and Spanish.

During my visits to Club 117, I've seen / been with / observed Garotos de Programa of all skin colors (well, not as white-skinned as me!).  I've been with black, mixed, brown and white/light skinned.  If I use a filter when deciding which guy to have sex with, it's body type and personality - not skin color.

I myself love nipple stimulation. I tell the guys mine are 2nd and 3rd peru for me, in no particular order. They love lovers of nipple sucking. It’s one item on the menu that doesn’t impose on them the obligation of consistent rock hard tumescence. It’s just that you cannot always provide a convincing argument that meandering down to your dick is a simple variation of sucking with little additional significance associated with it.

That is absolutely impossible. Now I am beginning to worry about your planning skills, as I believe there is a relationship between such generic abilities and having a good experience with sex trade where newbies tend to be more vulnerable to exploitation, being taken advantage of. What booking platform are you using and, if you don’t mind a reveal, your travel dates? I don’t know your primary language; my sense is that it is not English. You will need to use a translation app at times in Brazil. Perhaps you are very worldly and experienced but your assertion about accommodation availability is a red flag 🚩to my way of thinking.

Additionally, follow the news for possible upcoming instability as it appears former president “Lula” will win the current election but incumbent windbag “Bozo” has threatened that he has the military totally behind him. If Lula does not secure the win immediately, a run off at the end of the month could mean a very tumultuous October.

Yes the post-election period could be turbulent. But that’s not a deal breaker for me.

i modestly use tripadvisor and booking.com and i’d like to book from october 9 at a decent price ( 100 / 200 euros ) But hôtels in ipanema and copacabana seem to be full.

my english is actually very basic ( i speak other languages ) . It’s enough for me to understand your charming humour and to pick a beautiful fruit abroad.

You may have to experiment splitting up the total duration into components, particularly if the stay is on the lengthy side. Sometimes  a 2-week stint is blocked simply due to a wedding on one night within the given period where guests are all staying the one night. Hence, Booking dot com yields ‘dates unavailable’. It’s why I usually use Airbnb but I have been doing so for years with success, while others won’t go near the platform. 100-200 Euros can go far on Airbnb in terms of quality.

And may your beautiful fruit abroad, peaches, passion fruit, and otherwise, be bountifully cum-filled.

some hotels remove their availability from travel sites during periods of high-demand.  They know they can book the rooms direct and not pay commission to those sites. If there are particular hotels you want - check the hotel websites directly.  I usually stay in Ipanema, but would likely do Copacabana next time just bc easier to saunas and seems more gay venues have opened there recently.

Wed Oct 12th is a national religious (and formal bank) holiday as well as Children’s Day. Folks from surrounding environs may be booking the Tues night in order to take in the south zone beaches the following day. Interestingly, my sometimes hotel in its direct booking platform blocks a request from Oct. 9-23, but their system suggests Oct. 12-26 as an alternative. That dovetails with my zany theory.

I sometimes book a modest but serviceable Airbnb for the full kitchen and double up with the hotel booking for the lovely rooftop terrace and pool (with gym) when it’s hot. This often runs merely $100USD for the two accommodations combined and the hotel has an incredible breakfast spread.

It’s just one example because it’s the only hotel I occasionally use. It’s the Windsor Florida Hotel. It is right by the Catete Metro, the first station south of Gloria Metro where 117 is situated, though I usually walk the 15 minutes. Flamengo Beach, Republic Palace, Our Lady of Gloria on the Hill Church, etc. Copacabana, Ipanema? Been there done that. If you want throngs of beach goers stay there. But I occasionally zip down on the Metro. It’s a question of taste and preference. One gets accustomed to ease and familiarity of shopping for self-catered meals, etc. Foreign tourist sightings are rare in the Gloria/Catete neighbourhood. Others here will promote the more typical locations for a first-time visitor. On my last visit the closest I got was Botafogo.

I've twice stayed in Catete.  Although I'm a "walker" when in Rio ... covering a lot of ground exploring ... the Metro Station at Catete makes it easy and inexpensive to move around the city rapidly.  City busses are also plentiful.  My first visits to Rio, however, included stays at the Atlantico Copacabana.

everything you said is correct.  I’d only stay Copacabana for the proximity to Pointe, which is my preferred sauna. A quick 5 minute walk is ideal.  don’t mind 117, but wouldn’t make a hotel decision based on that.  Rio is dangerous & Copacabana is notorious for tourist crime - the proximity to Pointe outweighs the crime issue for me.  While the metro is relatively safe, I’m not a fan of placing myself in Rio environments where I’m easily identified as a gringo traveling solo.  I’d rather spend the minimal price difference in Uber and make sure I’m safe. Everyone’s level of risk tolerance re: personal safety is different - I’ve never been robbed/mugged in Rio, but have been in the middle of a gang gun battle in Ipanema and witnessed a kidnapping in broad daylight.  First time visitors should be extra vigilant & take all precautions.  I’m not a Brazil alarmist - I’ve just seen too many things happen in Rio that I’ve never seen anywhere else.
