I knew in advance that Thailand still has a Covid mask requirement in place but, traveling from the US, I was still a little surprised that virtually all the Thais I see in Bangkok are wearing masks. From Thai PBS World From Thai PBS World Their Majesties the King and Queen Thursday presided over a royal ceremony to unveil the statue of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the new Chalerm Phrakiat Park in Bangkok’s Dusit district. Thousands of people dressed in yellow along with senior government officials also joined in the ceremony. The Chalerm Phrakiat Park, located on 279 rai of land, is designed as Bangkok’s “new lung” with thousands of new trees to be planted there. It will also serve as a reminder of contributions by the late King and Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother to the Thai society.

During Covid, I started to follow a few hot guys on Instagram. One I really watch and have wanted to meet him for a couple of years but he was a no go. Finally, I now have a date with him. Hi everybody: Long time no see! I was last in Bangkok in February of 2020 for a week or so right before everything shut down. I stayed at Le Siam Hotel, which used to be the Swiss Hotel. It's along Soi Convent, one block up from Silom. I liked it. The place was super clean and exquisitely comfortable. The price was relatively low, and the location couldn't be beat. Pleased to inform readers that I awakened this morning to my second day of rainless and partly overcast skies over Bangkok. The air is cool enough to open the windows and take in a pleasant breeze.
