Has anyone read this book? There are two chapters dedicated Bangkok. It's was published more than 10 years ago,  before the advent of apps, so the descriptions might sound outdated, but I wonder if it's worth reading it:

The book was published more than 30 years ago. One Amazon review has this to say:
