We've had some fantastic input here on North Africa (thanks those who contributed), but I wonder if anyone has any insights on the rest of the continent.  I know that South Africa is probably pretty similar to the West, but what about the rest?  Obviously homosexuality is pretty taboo, so maybe there isn't anything out in the open, but does anybody else have any sexual experience to share?  Sure after COVID, it might be nice to see the local wildlife, but you can't be on safari the ENTIRE time you are there...

I will arrive in Rio next Friday(10/25) will be there for a week and then head to São Paulo!  i will not be going to Porto Alegre this trip, but will on my next trip.
I will be staying at the apt in Ipanema which i have been renting for almost 9 years! it is literally across the street from the General Orsorio Metro station in Ipanema and 2 blocks from the gay beach at Posto 9.  
This trip 2 of the guys from SP asked if they could come up to Rio for 4 days. So they will be my bunk mates and in the late afternoon they will go meet friends at the beach and I will meet friends at the sauna, and we will reconvene around 10:00 or so to meet up for dinner!  Since both they and me have been to Rio many times we won’t been doing any tourist things with the possible  exception of Hang gliding which i really like doing there! 
On friday November 1st i am going to SP for 4 days and meeting 4 guys there and plan on going to Lagoa before it closes at that location.

Super glad to hear you're okay.  Stay safe down there.  Man, that's some scary stuff.  As angry as hearing Bolsonaro voters makes me, if the crime rate is getting that bad it's a least a little bit understandable that they might want a "law and order" type candidate.  It just sucks that he seems to hate us even more than he hates the criminals.

Heartbreaking.  Just absolutely heartbreaking.  Sure, Brazil may have some of the most beautiful men on the planet, but that doesn't overshadow some of the horrifying problems that seem to exist there.  How can you justify not funding any sort of protection for priceless cultural treasures like those?
I just hope that at least some of the items survived the fire.

I suppose there's no way to prove that those of us who have never yet been to Brazil are trustworthy....    Thanks a lot to whoever ruined it for everybody else.  Why not just post the garoto photos without any faces/identifiers?
Anyway, I think I've read pretty much every Tomcal post back to the beginning, and I think I'd give 5 years off my lifespan just for a peek at his private scrapbook lol.

I'm one of those lurkers with no posts, mostly because I didn't feel like I had anything of value to add.  But I am glad you mentioned that you don't approve people with no posts so I don't waste my time haha.
Anyway, I just wanted to agree wholeheartedly with docbr's comment.  I completely understand if you want to keep photos private - it really sucks as I loved being able to put a face or body with a name but that's the way of the world today.  I also understand you would want to keep garoto's contact info private.  But please, please, PLEASE don't stop writing your amazing stories in the public forums.  If you have to change some details, fine, but you Mr. Tomcal, along with many of the other guys in the group have such fantastic, sexy adventures that it would be awful if those went away too.
Inspired by Tomcal's and other members posts, I am hoping to go to Brazil, possibly next year.  I wanted to go this year but as often happens life got in the way.  At any rate, a trip there would be a once-in-a-lifetime event for me, not a once-a-year thing.  So I and I am sure many other posters/lurkers eat up every word you guys say, both for fantasy material and, frankly, as something to dream about someday.

There is a feature on this site for private clubs.  I organized one for posting of info and photos for Brazil and Mexico! I did this because photos posted on here some time ago was shown to sauna guys so it was apparent certain members on here couldn’t be trusted! People have applied to be a member but unless you are “known” poster I will not approve you! Nothing personal but after the last incident I am not taking any chances.  The reason I am posting this is there has been two members who wanted in and when I checked they had ZERO posts on here!
