For those who's flights experience delays while traveling through/to/from Europe, you may be entitled up to 600 Euros in compensation. On a recent flight from BKK to Paris, my flight was delayed by two hours which resulted in missing a connecting flight to NYC/JFK. I was put on another flight the following day, a delay of about 12 hours. A fellow passenger, a Brit, advised me to file a claim with Air France the carrier. He did this and was given 600 Euros. The applicable Regulation is EC 261/204. You can try to file a claim with the airline or through a "collection" agency. If filing a claim be sure to refer to EC 261/204. Many Americans in Thailand are retired on good pensions plus Social Security. Some even have 2 or more pensions such as ex-military men.
