Freemans

Featured Replies

Everytime I''m at "soi Freemans" in BKK I wonder why Freemans closed...the owner finally got the remodeling done of the place (I think it was a 9 month project) ; it looked great, but then it closed. The show was always enjoyable but the music /sound system wasn't as good as the places at soi 2 (I always thought it was a no-brainer to get a new DJ there..) What are the plans there?

Should be open soon under a new owner(s). I guess we will have to wait and see what it will be like and what shows are put on.

As to what happen when then BBB Group Inc. closed the place, depends on who is telling the story.

Silom Nights Disco (formerly Freeman's), on Silom Soi 2/1, supposedly was ready to open under new management a week ago. I was advised that it is new ownership, and, though Pan of the BBB Group of Businesses had promised info when it was ready to reopen, since it has undergone a change of ownership, I assume Pan feels no further obligation to let us know what is going on under new ownership. (Reported in Weekly Report on Thailand for the week of December 3, 2006, on the www.pattayagay.com web site..)

New ownership, so I assume word will be spread when they are ready to reopen. Supposedly it was to be a big party for the reopening, as I understand.

G.P..

The owner of the BBB Group I know very well, he tells me he had to close and decided to sell

a) Because the police were constantly raiding and taking urine samples, so the Club was then closed

for the rest of the evening, and it took weeks to build up the normal clientel again.

B) He had a good offer to sell simple at that.

Hope that answers your question.

As you seem to know all about loosers and they are a major success story in ther area, where does that leave you. bkkguy

I think it leaves me convinced once again that you don't know what you are talking about!

Freeman a "major success"?

Yes! (in any of its many variations) a "major success"?

Boys Bangkok (after the move) a "major success"?

the flagship Dream Boys is the only one that comes close to a "major success" and even that is not going so well these days

and didn't he complain the last time you splashed his name around the forums?

I was by the old Freemans this evening and it's not open yet. The lights were on inside and there was some people moving about working on the lighting system. No sign outside yet.

@Richards was doing a good business tonight.
