October 10, 20169 yr How is the gay bar scene in Phuket these days? And is it possible to find the types of gay massage places we all love in Bangkok? When I was in Phuket 5 years ago there was really very little in terms of gogo boys and massage places. I am looking to upgrade beach experience in Pattaya.
October 12, 20169 yr The Phuket scene always has been more limited than Pattaya. If you are coming anytime soon expect it to be quiet and many of the boys go back home in the low season. One compromise is go to Pattaya and get your fill of guys and after wards go to Koh Samet which is a short distance away, If you do go to Samet bring your own guy if you want company as it isn't much of a gay island. Phuket like many gay areas of Thailand is in a state of decline and not growing. You aren't likely to find it more interesting than it was 5 years ago in that department.
