June 9, 20179 yr Mostly similar to say IBIS-Budget here in EURope or any of the loads of other budget-hotel-chains. Traditionally Thai HTLse were in centre town, near train/busstations and run by Chinese. These are more aimed at cardrivers and thus often at edge of town near the motorway/highway. Picture is a little deceiving-superwide angle-expect small rooms. Also I dont know how well they cope with age, chain exists for some 5 yrs now and aging seems to be a perpetual prob with any Thai building. Normal price is mostly 6/800 bt/nite/roomonly (max 2 people), but they indeed very often run promotions.

June 13, 20179 yr They also have hotels in the Philippines. In Manila the lowest rate I see is US$26. About 900 TB. I have stayed at the Tune Hotel near the airport. Very basic and small room. But fine for one night stop over. I think now it is re-branded as Red Planet, but charging US$51...
June 13, 20179 yr 800 baht for a room in Chiang Mai in December. Only just outside the square part, seems like good location & good value. However, they do not have a room safe listed in the specifications, so that would be a deal breaker for me.
