A lot of on line reports suggested such as below that the road tunnel in Pattaya should finally have fully opened yesterday, just wondered if it did any one knows if still open?

 

 

Hoping to save a bit of time on my trip in to Pattaya in October!

Oh but it will probably be flooded by October. Don't get your hopes up.

I've been watching the construction each trip, but I still don't know where the tunnel goes to. What are the starting and ending points? anyone have a map??

It's an underpass so cars passing at Sukhumvit / Central Pattaya T-junction are not affected by traffic lights and lanes for cars who turn.

 

In Bankok there are many overpasses and underpasses, and several in Chiang Mai.

As long as the construction isn't being done by the same people that laid the pavements between Pattaya and Jomtien.
