Intercontinental Hotel Pattaya - A review from Dec 2020 - 2.5 Stars

Featured Replies

I like the chain but I'd have to give them a 2.5 out of 5. The cost was reasonable (3,000 per night for all but Saturday which was 8,000 baht) but they did not have a good buffet breakfast and they did not have good upgrades for their top-tier members. I was also not happy they allowed people near the buffet without gloves. Overall, I like the place but just was not happy on this stay. Some customers refusing to wear gloves and them letting them get away with that spoiled my stay.

The beds are very comfortable and room service is good. They have the Infinity Restaurant on the ocean with good food. I had the lobster and it was excellent. My current companion, Jupiter Boy, had the steak and he really enjoyed it. He also wanted to try the sea bass which I tasted and it was good as well.

The pools were filled with kids running around all day and the hotel was packed full with mostly Thai and Asian customers. I didn't see many Westerners there. The housekeeping was excellent.
