January 23, 200620 yr I'm currently using Firefox 1.0. Can anyone tell me if I upgrade to 1.5, will all my bookmarks, etc., be automatically integrated? I would assume they would, but it never hurts for a tech dummy to ask.
January 23, 200620 yr I think they would. However, many people who have upgraded to 1.5 are having real difficulties with it. I'd recommend waiting for 1.6, or whatever they call the next update version, unless you have some real need to features offered only by FF 1.5. BG
January 23, 200620 yr Thanx BG. After hearing that those having problems with firefox are using v1.5, I'll stick to v1.0. Frankly, I couldn't figure out what's so much better about v1.5 anyway. x(
January 23, 200620 yr Good decision. I have not been happy since "upgrading" to Firefox 1.5. It crashes and freezes up very often. Stick to what you have and wait for a fix.
January 24, 200620 yr I must agree with others advice to wait. I will always regret upgrading as I have had nothing but problems. A very nice gentleman was kind enough to send me a version of the older firefox, but alas, the damage to drivers and whatever else was already done and lives on long after friefox is uninstalled.
