January 26, 200719 yr A thai friend invited me to " Mum Aroi " restaurant tonight. Was pretty amazed of the restaurant look. Very well done and the food was excellent. It is not a gay restaurant but I thought it would be nice to post it, for those that would enjoy a nice evening on the beach, with great mood live music and a perfect seafood meal. I thought I was in Malibu for a moment. I really liked the look and ambiance. It is fairly new and it seems that mostly " High Class " thai people ends up eating there. I only saw 2-4 farangs out of 100 people. My friend said that most of the people comes from Bangkok for the week end. We had 4 dishes and 2 appetizers to share, and 2 glass of wine + bottle of water and the bill was just 1,100 baths total. The Beach front condo also must bring some good class people. It is located all the way north of Naklua road. You can't miss it as it is just at the end of the road. Probably 10 to 15 min drive from the Second Road / Naklua Junction. Might go faster if you take the " Sukhumvit Road ", pass 2-3 lights after the Bangkok - Pattaya Hospital and turn left when you see that big sign for " Ananya Beach front ". The soi sign was destroyed, so could not get the street name , but it is that soi that is along the pretty big police station.
