August 10, 200620 yr TY: I suspected that you intended your post to display some pics. So I viewed the page source and was able to find and extract the URLs for the pics. As always, you have good taste. :9 However, at least for me, with Firefox 1.5, the pics are not showing up at all on the page as displayed by the forum. BG
August 10, 200620 yr OK, here's another clue to whatever may be causing this: 1. I suspected you had pics in your msg. 2. I found the URL's, opened a new Firefox tab and entered the URL's manually, one by one, to see the pics. 3. I closed the page and replied to your first msg. 4. I then went back to your original page. At this point, the images were displaying nominally, in the correct positions. So, evidently, once they were in my cache, Firefox could render the page as expected. I don't know if this is a Firefox issue (I'm using 1.5, build 1.5.0.6) or something else but thought I'd report it to see if anyone else is seeing the same behavior. BG
August 10, 200620 yr Author Active Members BG, Thanks for the heads up and for giving a recipe for others. I had no idea of a problem with using IE. Of course I had viewed the website pics prior to creating and viewing the post, thus I had cache images on my computer. However, I have had the problem you describe many times in the past. Usually getting the URL from the 'reply with quote' page and as you point out, viewing separately cured the browser post no-show problem. Thanks again. TY
August 11, 200620 yr Active Members Hot pictures. At first all I saw was little red X's. I now can view them . I found out some time ago when pictures turn up as red X's just right check on the x. Then click add to favorites (you can always delete them from your favorites later). Then go to favorites and click on the new link for the X. The pictures will show up. Then they show up in the thread for me also.
