Hi. I have never been there but am aware of their legislation about prostitution (which is completely crazy and penalise the customers !!). I also had some customers (being an escort myself) from Scandinavia and used to know some Scandinavian escorts as well. They all confirmed that prostitution there is hard to find, that these countries promote a very depressed kind of socialism, where stupid conception of equality and also puritanism replace any kind of fun ....

Well that certainly meshes with the advice to bring your own liquor. All that and extreme winters too. I'm beginning to understand their suicide rate.

Well, what do you expect? They're Lutherans. Besides stifling behavior in their own native country, a shitload of them emigrated to the US, specifically to Minnesota, where their holier-than-thou penchant for controlling their fellow citizens' behavior leaves us to this day with laws which prohibit liquor stores being open on Sunday, and (it boggles the mind) car dealerships being open on Sunday.

Go figure.

I watched the daily changing of the guard at the (Swedish) Royal Palace today. Unlike other royal and presidential palaces, the ceremonial guards who watch the outside of the Swedish monarch's palace are mostly conscripts (draftees). That means lots of very cute teenage and very Scandinavian looking eye candies. The amazing thing is when you talk to the guards who are on watch, they are friendly and they talk back to you. Lots of them don't mind posing for the tourist cameras. Too bad it's my last day; the possibilities would have been endless.
