A 25-year-old German student enrolled at Bangkok's Ramkhamheng University was found dead in his rented apartment, police said Thursday.

 

Following a homicide report at 10am yesterday, Hua Mark police rushed to Ritthirat Apartment in Soi Ramkhamhaeng 30 to find German student Ronny Ulbrich, 25, with serious head injuries, lying naked in a poll of blood in his sixth-floor rented room, which showed signs of struggles. Near his body, police found the murder weapon, a bloodstained dumbbell.

 

Police Lieutenant Colonel Sompop Tunpolngam said police suspected that Ulbrich - who had been enrolled in the open university's international programme - was killed by a blow to the head on Wednesday night, following a fight with a male acquaintance. Police also found bloodstain on a doorknob of another room on the same floor, thus would soon interview the room's tenant to see if the tenent was involved in Ulbrich's death or not, the officer said.

 

Neighbors told police that Ulbrich lived by himself but had male friends coming over to his place almost every night and, earlier yesterday, someone knocked on his door but none answered, and there was a sign of intrusion, thus they alerted the landlord and found Ulbrich was dead.

a sad story..... everybody who was browsing the many Thai-Gay-Websites, and even gay.com, gayromeo.com, will probably know his face as he posted his picture hundreds of times on those pages and annoyed a lot of people - THAIs and FARANG.

 

I know some of his stories..... scary.....

 

but nobody deserves to end like that.....
