March 17, 200719 yr There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that the appointed "chiefs" will quickly identify the cause of the deadly effluent: (From the Bangkok Post) The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration said on Satuday it would seal water gates in Bangkok to prevent contaminated water in the Chao Phraya river that killed thousands of fish in Ang Thong province from entering the city. Bangkok governor Apirak Kosayodhin said the polluted water is expected to flow into Bangkok on Sunday so he has ordered officials to close water gates at the Chao Phraya dam, the Noi River dam, and the Rama VI dam Saturday and Sunday to prevent the water from penetrating into the city. BMA also plans to release clean water into the polluted water to dilute pollution, he added.
