July 13, 200818 yr Active Members It actually sounds like tons of fun. I would definitely go if the timing weren't how it is. Planning to spend nearly a month in Montreal for the summer events including Pride, and will just be getting done with it a couple of weeks before Decadence... so hard to make it over there so soon. Last year at this time, I guess I might have considered it knowing that jesse "I am not a prostitute" santana was dancing at OZ. I have no problem with him making statements like he did about how it offends him that people just assume because he does porn he may also be rentable. It would also make sense though that he should have no problem if some people lose interest because of his position.
July 21, 200818 yr I will be flying in on Wed from LAX for my first SD. I too will avoid the circuit parties and probably attend the events of DecaFest. I am open to meeting with other MERmen / Hoovillians. Since the Rentboy cruise was cancelled, will there be a Rentboy.com presence at SD this year? Does any one know if Madrigals will go gay again for SD?
July 22, 200818 yr Author Active Members At this point Rentboy.com does not have an official event. They are a sponser of the whole Decadence weekend-along with about 50 other companies. There will be a large RB presence-Look for the rentboy.com shirts. As posted-I will be there.So lets meet up at some point.My friend Hussy-the Ventura Vixen was contacted by one of the fellas with decafest who assured him it will be happening this year-they just never got around to updating the site for this year.Hussy enjoyed a couple of the decafest offerings last year. Me-I am very happy to sit back and enjoy the eye candy and eat some great food
July 30, 200818 yr I am surprized that there is no official Rentboy.com event. With all the pool parties this summer, I expected them to have a pool party at the Country Club during Southern Decadence. I will be staying at the Omni and look forward to having drinks or brunch with other Mermen.

September 2, 200818 yr Author Active Members I did go to New Orleans for Decadence-however it was a very curtailed weekend thanks to the Staff of G-D ! Thursday and Friday night were a lot of fun-and it was nice to meet BakoPanda(where did you dissapear to?)however I was preoccupied Friday night with thoughts of the evacuation which had been ordered by the Mayor of New Orleans. Lukas Ridgestone was in the house at OZ on Friday=even though he is much older than his Bel Ami glory days he is still a beautiful man. So much fun-and so much fun had to be put on the back burner. I am afraid this will probably be the end of Decadence for me.Two out of four(I dodged Katrina by two days) is just to much of a crap shoot for me-guess I am getting too old for these things Glad the city was spared-I will visit it again it calmer seasons.

I too met Lukas at a place in New York five or so years ago. He is a gorgeous man. I also, of course, slept with him and Johann Paulik back in 2000, but that's a different story. I can vouch that they both looked pretty god when they woke up, all things considered.
