This one is written and acted with such wit that I'm sorry to see it go. Everybody in it is good. The center of attention is the leading man, a kind of guy who's too good to exist in nature. Jeffrey Donovan makes it all work by bringing impressive acting chops, intelligence and irony to the role. He has those qualities in common with Michael C. Hall, plus the one of being a sizzling hottie.

Love the show for all the reasons you give. My only disappointment is the extended hiatus practice. It does make for worthwhile summer TV entertainment.

Ain't necessarily so, at least not this time. There were a brief caption and announcement at the end of this episode that the series would be back with "all new episodes" this winter. No more details than that. It all went by fast enough that I didn't catch it. It had to be pointed out to me on playback. I guess we'll see.
