I think this kind of thing is just the reality of attempting to be intimate with a stranger. Some of them are crazy and fucked up and will kill you. There's nothing unique to craigslist about that. It's part of the human condition.

That detail came out in the News coverage, to which it was my original intent to provide a link, but I couldn't get that link to work. I should have noticed the Times's omission. Agreed that there's nothing unique to Craigslist about that. But I've seen enough negatives about Craigslist to turn me off on it. My caution may be exaggerated by some definitions, but I'm willing to live with that shortcoming.
March 30, 200917 yr Ah. Well I tend to agree that soliciting rough sex from a total stranger isn't something I'd do. Maybe from an escort I'd seen before. Craigslist doesn't particularly scare me, but I've had rotten luck with it finding anything other than flakes.
