August 1, 200917 yr I liked Shatner's reading, but it was a bit anticlimactic given that I'd been exposed to the original before. That exposure was a complex experience: Disorientation, vaguely grassy, as I tried to make sense of a language I'm supposed to understand. Epiphany: She's actually talking gibberish! Inner peace as I let it wash over me.
