I am thinking of spending 6 months there at a school. (not high school as I already have that degree) ^_^

But, if I did, I was looking for a place to stay and have a few questions.

1. I must have high speed Internet. Is this readily available there?

2. If I stay in a hotel, what are your recommendations?

3. Is the city safe? Can I go out at night alone? Walk around? Is this similar to Rio or Sao Paulo?

4. Are there lots of motorcycles around? I would most likely rent one to get around.

Anything I left out?

Any advice is mostly appreciated!
