To accept your position would be to accept the presumption that Beck and Limbaugh are "the real bosses of the Republican Party", a statement which is as ridiculous as it is untrue.

I know that you live in a world where your perception of everyone who has an opinion different than yours is that they are either inherently evil or some dupe of a conspiracy led by your definition of an inherently evil right wing media.

Limbaugh and Beck are no more bosses of the GOP than Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow are bosses of the Democratic Party. Limbaugh and Beck are simply entertainers on a network just like Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow are entertainers on the network on which the author of that article serves as a guest commentator. All four play to a respective audience that shares a certain political indoctrination.

Conason's article was written for the fist pumpers on the left just like Beck's or Limbaugh's show content is written for the fist pumpers on the right.

None of these entertainers, regardless of political affiliation, are the "bosses" of their respective political parties.

Maybe one day you'll come to a comfort level with your own beliefs that you will be able to realize that, sometimes, people just have different opinions. The fact that they do doesn't lend itself to some form of overt conspiracy so much as it is simply a reflection of underlying values that vary from person to person.
