I haven't been up to Weho in a long time(it's an hour non rush hour from where I live)the last time I was at Micky's was about a year and 1/2 ago and they had 4 or 5 gogo boys dancing. A recent review in the blog Gaywesthollywood (http://www.gaywesthollywood.com/bars.htm) says there are 20 on Weds and Thurs nights! Townie is this true? The listing of the 21 gay bars along 1.5 miles of Santa Monica Blvd is interesting!

A recent 2-year multi-million dollar remodel added gorgeous lighted indoor and outdoor bars and a new upstairs area - Elevation 88 Lounge. Go-Go dancers every single day starting in the afternoon! I'm not Townie, but I go most Wednesday's to Micky's and yes they have 20 or more on Wednesday night. In fact, I think they have too many. There are so many that you really can't spend subtle time with any of them because they are stuffed so close together on the tables they have set up. It looks like a manufacturing line. But lots of eye candy that's for sure.

I don't go on Thursday because the "Cocktails with the Pornstar" event is a waste of time. And while they have dancers later they don't have that many as they do on Wednesday.

So MJ's has 20 or so on Tuesday's and Micky's has 20 or more on Wednesday. Also Here Bar has a bunch on Wednesday as well.

So last night was fun in West Hollywood. Most of the dancers at Micky's were only wearing aprons. So Zipperzone would have loved all the butt views as I did. that was a lot of fun and a lot of "accessibility" . . .

Then we went to Here where Jesse Santana was dancing. He is still the hottest man around. We chatted with him for a while. Nice guy and he just broke up with his boyfriend and he's moving to West Hollywood in early May.

Is the standard operating procedure or was it a "one-off" situation. Maybe I should make a road trip?

I haven't seen them do aprons before. But they have done "socks" which still has great butt views or wash cloths or jock straps. There is always a theme every week it seems.
