August 19, 200719 yr Being in Thailand U-tube is blocked by the censor. The Government announced last month that it was to be unblocked but nothing yet. Is anyone in Thailand getting access? I wonder how they manage to block it so that no circumventor circumvents?
August 19, 200719 yr I tried to use a proxy to open YouTube ........ it opened the web site fine, but would not play the VDO clips .......... I sent a query to the proxy host and got a reply that the proxy was not set up to show VDO clips .......... so it is not the Thai government that is also blocking the proxy, but simply the way that the proxy is set up....... sure wish that the Thai government would unblock YouTube.
