July 13, 201115 yr Apparently the rewards for reading 10 Million miles are great. They included having a plane named after him, never having to wait in line again, upgrades to everywhere he goes and more. I am at the 1M mile mark and that took 7 years. July 13, 201115 yr I just got notified last week that I passed the 3 million mile mark with American Airlines. When you get to 2 million they make you Platinum for life and gave 8 worldwide upgrades, at 3 Million you get a thank you and they give you 4 worldwide upgradess! So seems like the more you fly the less you get.
July 14, 201115 yr Active Members Tomcal has Platinum status at all of the Brazilian saunas too! Except there he had to reach one million inches instead of miles!
July 14, 201115 yr Active Members Sadly I am just over 2 million lifetime miles in all programs=with very few of those earned by B.I.S.(Butt In Seat)flying. It has been a blast both accumulting and spending these miles. 10 million BIS miles is a real wowser. TomCal is in the right program for FFP status via miles since AA counts EVERY mile-no matter how you earn it-towards lifetime status.I wish UA did that.
