November 23, 201114 yr Active Members The Brasilian Boyfriend asked for my chicken curry with mango chutney. I'm baking pecan chocolate chip and walnut oatmeal raisin cookies for dessert. And he loves Heineken.

And he loves Heineken. ...sounds mighty delicious! Last Christmas my cousin decided that she wanted to serve Mexican cuisine. We had a wonderful and delightful unconventional Christmas spread! November 23, 201114 yr So far in this poll, I seem to be the only person who will be enjoying an excellent cut of steak tomorrow.
November 23, 201114 yr As far as I'm concerned there is only ONE meal a year I don't want messed with and that is Thanksgiving. I expect turkey, Mrs. Cubbison’s dressing (cooked in the turkey), mashed potatoes, gravy, candied sweat potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce, that stupid old string bean casserole and rolls. I like mincemeat pie but pumpkin pie is acceptable as well. Every fucking year my niece (who is a rotten cook) wants to get creative. She doesn’t want the turkey stuffed and insists on trying a different dressing each year. She loves starting the meal with some exotic soup and a green salad which are both overkill with this meal. She always makes her own pies which require a hammer and chisel to eat. No matter how much other members of the family offer to “help” she insists on doing it all herself. On Friday after Thanksgiving I always have a few family members and friends over and make the traditional dinner.
November 24, 201114 yr I love your niece. I eat anything on the table so I don't mind bad food. Your family are very nice to accommodate her enthusiasm every year. I think that's what the holiday is all about.
