The judge in the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial found Conrad Murray is 'legally' eligible for probation, but ordered instead that he be sent to prison for the meximum term of four years due the "gross continuing deviation" of established medical practices and for a complete unwillingness to accept any personal blame for the entertainer's death.

The downside, if you feel as I do that he should receive the max, is it will not happen. He will do two years in a county jail instead of prison and that will be followed by parole for the additional two years. Los Angeles prison and jail system is packed and this is the stated norm for his four year sentence.

Any innocent person convicted of something he didn't do is always going to be faulted for not taking responsibility or showing remorse for what he didn't do. If you are going to maintain your innocence, it's hard to turn around and say gee, I'm so sorry I did it if I did.
